The only boundary is your creative thinking. Cons I would like to see a better integration with Pabbly Connect. It conserves time" May 16, 2021 5.0 Wachete is the primary tool I use to keep track of changes on an external platform that is critical to our company's operations. We can be assured that we are up to date and can act on the new updates as soon as they are made because the monitored changes to the sites we follow are reliable. Pros I like how it helps me to automatically control various pages and parts that I need to keep track of. Cons I can only track by bits of the site and can't pick and choose which sections of the page to watch. I'm still not very good with PDFs. I wish there was a way to filter out minor adjustments and just display the ones that affect the material. When a website is taken down and then put back up, we have a lot of problems with false alerts. Review Source MS Megan S. October 14, 2019 4.0 Automating tracking of health plan medical policy changes. Pros I really like that it allows me to monitor different pages and sections that I need to track automatically. Cons I can only track by chunks of the site and can't do a lot of selecting smaller parts of the webpage to monitor. Also not great at PDFs. I wish there was a way to sift through minor changes and only show actual content changes. We have a lot of trouble with false notifications when a page is taken down then put back up. The reliability of the tracked changes to the sites we monitor mean that we can be confident we are up to date and are able to act on the latest changes as soon as they are made. Pros Simple to use software, that presents the information about changes to a website in clear and easy to digest format. I've used a lot of different page trackers and this is the best. Simple to choose the area of the page to watch, and how you want the service to watch for changes. Lots of options for monitor frequencies and easy to choose just the relevant areas of the page to watch. Cons Our requirements for page watching aren't very complex, and we could nearly have achieved what we wanted with the free version, but the relevant elements on the page couldn't not be selected alone. Now that might be more to do with how the 3rd party site is coded and built, but at least Wachete provided an option to solve this within their free plan - and this makes the change alert emails so much more useful. Now I only get the updates that I actually need, rather than every time some dynamic content on the page changes e.g. new blog post or news article. Review Source BZ Brandon Z. Once they've identified a change, they need to email you and let you know that there was a change. Here's the tricky part: How you represent what changed? (what was added and what was removed?) Wachete has one of the best email notifications in this regard. They provide you with a link to the page that changed, the block of text that changed with new text highlighted in green, and removed text highlighted in red plus a strikethrough. Their website isn't a top of the line experience, but the email notifications are perfect. Setting a Wachete on a page allows you to get updates whenever the page changes, reducing the need for manually visiting these webpages to get updates. Cons Sometimes the software will error out. One click adding of new page to track although with several possibilities to personalize for your needs. If you need to monitor only small part of web page, and understand the content (in case of number it's able to paint graphs). Or if you are layer or audit company which needs to monitor whole web portal with subpages and media. Wachete sends emails notifications and hence it has mobile apps for all platforms also push notifications. Regarding price they have very generous Free subscription and paid ones are the cheapest on the market.
