" September 27, 2015 4.0 The transition from the old cloud takeoff to Stack was a bit of a issue. Early on there were no training videos. After receiving those videos things got much better. Cons In the end, I couldn't justify the price tag for as little as we actually used it. Maybe if we were estimating huge jobs every other day but it was to expensive for our small team. This product will really enhance your ability to bid jobs, it is so easy to use. Pros Ease of takeoffs and pricing. I can bid 10 jobs in 2 days. The line options are confusing.the tect guy says they are capable of doing complete bids with a touch of a mouse button neglects to tell how or I have to upgrade more but doesn't tell me how much or what exactly how it works. I use it as a Project Manager so my take-off is not as in-depth as Estimator, but STACK gets the job done for me. I initially subscribed to Cloud Take-off and was rolled to STACK after merger, etc. Pros Ease of use and functionality Cons Would not want to depend on it as an Estimator with detailed take-off. Really like the ability to scan in drawing via PDF files. Cons Having some difficulty with maintaining format when importing to BuilderTrend. The support from the vendor is immediate; they return phone calls and emails right away! I am able to resolve any issues usually on the same day. Cons I don't like that you can't organize the projects you pull to certain due dates. It would be helpful to be able to switch due dates whenever possible.
