May 1, 2019 5.0 Stack is an awesome tool for reading and measuring plans. I use stack to help me measure roof plans . The software helps make me more efficient at my job. The jobs that I used Stack for the take offs were so accurate that we only had 1 stud and a couple pieces of track left over. Very easy program to learn. Pros Easy to write formulas and it gives very precise data. Cons I would like it if I could write a formula that would account for variable heights and different levels of finish. Would be nice if you didn't have to re do your wall types after re-organizing your own folders. I like how I can work on a portion of the takeoff and be able to come back anytime and be able to continue where I finished off. The download files are easily accessible for use when the project starts.
