Cons Not knowing what each employee chose for coverage without having to get into Bernie Portal. We understand that the security of employee data is of utmost importance, which is why a login is required to access BerniePortal data. I'd recommend bookmarking the BerniePortal login page so that it can be conveniently accessed. If an employee has a question surrounding their benefits, I'd really encourage you to show your staff the BerniePortal smartphone app. Here, each employee can access their benefits information at any time. We were able to complete our open enrollment in record time. I also like that the portal is capable of handling my COBRA needs. Cons Many of our employees had trouble getting logged into the portal. It does not seem to be as user friendly with a tablet or phone as on a PC. Pros I had a webinar to review all functions. I liked I what I saw. We are using the Benefits and Notices. We would eventually like to be able to use all the functions offered. In order to fully investigate how BerniePortal can best suit your needs, I recommend contacting your health insurance broker. The documents needed were not in my paper renewal packet. I am new to BerniePortal but I quickly found the documents I was looking for because the system was easy to navigate. Pros I really like how easy it is to use BerniePortal. My responsibilities include HR but that is certainly not the focus of my work duties. Cons Every thing I have needed in my interaction with BerniePortal as been quite positive. The software was easy to follow along with. Pros The software was very easy to use. It was easy to go back and see what elections employees had made in the past year. Cons The way is listed groups. It would have been easier if the incomplete employees were alphabetized with the completed ones.
