### "Robust, Fully Functional Agile Project Management System"

February 16, 2017

4.0

Target Process has helped our many development teams organize our projects while employing an agile work methodology. The ability to great programs and teams works well for our cross functional organization and the ability to create and limit different views to different groups of users allows us to keep the system simple and straight forward for the users. The functionality of the cards is great and the ability to switch from card views to waterfall type views helps for all of our different users. We would like to see the amount of object nesting to be increased (more layers within a project to nest objects) and the restrictions on certain objects lifted. The system could benefit from running faster whether that's cleaning up our views or improving the software. It would be great to employ rules that could hard code relationships to react certain ways so tracking dependencies if easier. Overall, great software and the support is great!

Pros

The versatility of making it work for cross functional groups. Also, the agile methodology mixed with the traditional project management views works well.

Cons

There are bugs in the view making. I try to say only show these projects for certain views and it never seems to stay. I would like a more robust project management view. Have unlimited or more ability for object nesting. Also the ability to do better simpler custom field calculations. And determine how you want dependencies to work.

### "Great Product, Great Service"

September 17, 2018

5.0

Target Process is helping our group gather business and system requirements. We also document our test cases and bugs found. This software assists us in collaborating with multiple teams within our company to provide excellent customer service.

Pros

I love the flexibility of access to this product. I can even access it on my phone if I need to look up a user story to see what state it is in.

Cons

So far we don't have found any negatives. We have added custom fields and made suggestions, but all and all this is a very good product.

### "Powerful tool"

September 27, 2018

5.0

Pros

From time to time in various companies, I see people desperately try to achieve their goals with a mix of some software and custom home-made utilities/tools. It's the time when just one thought comes to my mind: how easily it could be achieved with the help of Targetprocess...

Cons

The most important problem for me is performance. But this is a consequence of design choice: either you have a dumb and primitive solution, or you have performance problems.

### "Review"

July 17, 2019

4.0

Overall good experience. Primary use is create high level Feature/Story view for client and internal project manager. Also, use the task board to go through stand up each day with teams.

Pros

1\. Features & Stories list view 2. Consistency a. Done is always visible in Grey b. Green + button to add stories, tasks etc 3. Customization of boards and views 4. Reports 5. Clean UI 6. Information found in the burn down chart details 7. Timesheet view for our teams

Cons

1\. Sometime performance is slow 2. Wish I could add points, tasks, hours to Bugs. Workaround - we make everything a user story and put the word "BUG:" at the beginning of the story/task and set it up to automatically turn red. 3. Sometimes can get lost trying to create a report/board etc and it does not feel intuitive

### "I'm totally satisfied"

September 14, 2018

5.0

As a company with 3 agile dev teams, we can configure workflows just as we need. TP models an agile workflow, so you don't have to set up everything from scratch. On the other hand, those workflows are still well configurable. Self-service dashboards with templates are much appreciated by our employees.

Pros

Self-service dashboards, no internal hosting efforts, easily scalable, fast and efficient.

Cons

Only minor issues, all our basic needs (SaaS, fast and reliant, easy and lean to configure) are met.

### "We reviewed several platforms, we are still happy with our choice with Targetprocess"

September 14, 2018

5.0

Before Targetprocess we tried several other platforms; trello didn't have enough structure to be able to track software feature requests from start to finish effectively, Pivotal Tracker wasn't flexible enough and wasn't easily able to track other components of scrum outside the sprint itself.

Pros

The flexibility this software is capable of providing is second to none.

Cons

I found it necessary to train users when introducing them to the software partly because the GUI isn't entirely intuitive.

### "Trace user stories with Targetprocess."

March 16, 2019

4.0

We use Targetprocess to track the errors seen on our pages and websites. It is important the use that we are giving to the tool, this gives us essential tools.

Pros

It is very easy to use without a doubt, its graphics are really great and pleasant for any user. Nowadays, moving cards with respect to our work processes is fast and very organized, we create, edit and assign cards in a simple way thanks to Targetprocess.

Cons

It is quite incostante the update, sometimes it is automatic and other times we must do it manually. To be such a powerful tool, that kind of inconsistency should not be seen.

### "Strong in one area, very weak in another."

September 14, 2018

5.0

Pros

Works great for developers, once you figure out its quirks.

Cons

1\. Doesn't seem to be design for projects - for example, its difficult to get from a project to a listing of the stories that are assigned to that project. 2. Not particularly intuitive to use. 3. Does not provide any serious functionality to track issues, risks. This functionality appears to be an after-thought.

### "It hits the Goldilocks zone"

July 10, 2019

4.0

A great fit for a small business running Agile Scrum. Setting up new users is a snap and there's almost no need to train, so we don't waste time getting people up to speed. It just fades into the background of our day-to-day work tempo.

Pros

Easy to use - 2D drag-and-drop for cards in Iteration Plan mode is intuitive and straightforward. Quick to create new cards, assign them to features & releases & sprints, etc. Plenty of ability to customize for smaller organizations, no need to slog through lots of mandatory fields, steps, etc.

Cons

UI is sometimes touchy, especially on a small screen. Dragging a card to a new state, paging forward & back through iterations. I wish you could define defaults for things like the Project field when creating a new card - right now it defaults to alphabetical order.

### "Great visual app for project management"

November 21, 2015

5.0

I've been using Target Process (TP) for more than a year now and before that I've used a bunch of other tools (Trello, Jira, Basecamp) and I can say with confidence that TP blows them all out of the water. It's more visual, comprehensive, configurable, easier to navigate, responsive and welcoming than any other software by far. I've written about that before here https://goo.gl/X0MdQW One thing that I would like to add with the benefit of the time is that TP does not stop - we regularly see new updates, bug fixes and useful features added to the mix, while less successful features get removed. Plus, their support reaches out to customers proactively and tries to understand what makes the application useful for your specific case. So all around a great choice for project management.

Pros

\- very visual - easy to configure to a variety of processes - comes with pre-defined library of dashboard templates - has great documentation - is well maintained and supported

Cons

\- takes a while to load on the first use - requires initial training session to understand all concepts

### "Very good product, but needs some little addition and tuning to pass to next level "

February 28, 2017

4.0

Generally speaking i love target process and the way you do things guys. i would have to be honest the only thing really piss me off is the arrows in the boards in order to scroll if there are too many columns and row. i already said this many time to the tech support and also offered my experience in the canvas rendering but in 3 years you have not yet took that in consideration. overall the product is pretty good and amazing. My personal opinion is that the way of estimation and the timeline component are the most weak ones and i would suggest to explore them a bit more. in a project is of course fundamental to speed up the daily work and there you can just adjust little bugs, but the real crucial point of the development is to don't make wrong estimations and being able to respect those. i think that here the tool should help more. As i said i think this would take the product to the next level but if someone asks me if i would ever come back to some other products or jira ..... NO WAY!

Pros

Fast, high customization and easy to create custom boards.

Cons

\- query language is often difficult - arrow on scrolling the board - burn down

### "Great scrum software"

September 14, 2018

4.0

Overall we really enjoy using Targetprocess for our team.

Pros

Has all the necessary features for our scrum project management

Cons

A little cumbersome. We had some glitches that took a while to get fixed. Some UI features were lacking for a while too (which have now been added) - such as being able to drag and drop multiple stories up or down in the backlog.

### "Task manager with flexible process designer"

September 18, 2018

5.0

Pros

It is the most flexible task manager that I've ever seen. It may be used to set up easy and light kanban in one team and rigid and highly documented waterfall in another with TargetProcess.

Cons

It is somewhat distracting when some colleagues have easy workflows and don't need all the great functionality and details.

### "Fantastic product with simple flexibility"

August 31, 2016

5.0

I was looking for a product to manage our software testing practises when I joined my current employer in 2013. I quickly identified TP3 as being suitable for our small team of 4 developers and 1 tester (myself). The product has been very stable, which is a key requirement. There are fantastic integrations available with other systems that are used in our dev environment. The product features an extensive array of options for customising the system to suit the environment it will be deployed in and this is very easy to use. There have been significant advances to the software QA side of the system since we started using it. The beauty of this product is that software QA is only a part of the functionality offered by the system.

Pros

Stability, Flexibility, Feature updates, New functionality, regular releases of updated

Cons

There is no need for this section...

The software is fairly versatile in hownitncan be applied. We use it across all departments from very technical use of many features and workflows in engineering to the basic email request features in non-technical departments.

Cons

It has a bit of a usability learning curve I’ve been told by newer users.

### "Best Scrum tool we've come across"

February 20, 2017

5.0

The beauty of TargetProcess is in its flexibility. When we started using TP we tweaked it all kinds to track our workflow the way we wanted. Over time our process has moved a bit more true to "pure" scrum and many of those customizations have gone away. We still have tweaks here and there to track extra info or to track things just how we like, but in general the tool is right on the money.

Some of the default calculations aren't what we'd prefer. For example: the sum total of points in a feature only includes stories, not bugs. We've worked around that though.

### "Perfect tool for agile development"

October 19, 2015

5.0

TargetProcess is a really great tool for planning and development! It's very flexible. In our company we have several projects. For some of them we use all the hierarchy "program/project/epic/feature/userstory/task/bug". For other projects we just use "project/userstory/bug" hierarchy. It's really easy to switch from one type to another. Also TP provides really powerful filters for your views and graphical reports. A really nice feature that we implemented with TP - our internal people who do not work with TP directly (or don't have access to TP at all) but want to provide feedback to our SW can just write an e-mail to a specific address with their feedback description. It results in a TP entity "request" with propely assigned people, project, etc. Thus we 100% sure it appears on a proper view. Then the dev team with a click of a button converts it to a userstory/bug and implement. It works perfectly for us!

Pros

Very flexible, customizable, looks nice. They actively introduce new features based on customer feedback. Really easy to track changes history of an entity, create and see relations between items, plan iterations, etc.

Cons

It was a bit hard to switch from TP2 to TP3. TP2 had all views predefined so you have everything from the box but can't create your custom views. In the modern TP you can create any (!) view you want but it takes time to learn how to do it. Thanks for TP support - it works really well.

### "Targetprocess"

December 5, 2018

5.0

Pros

We use targetprocess to keep track of our tickets and progress. I do like that it responds quickly and functionality of it is great. We are able to have multiple people use this and add comments to tickets/issues which helps in communication with our team.

Cons

It is a big hard to use. The layout makes it a bit confusing. Perhaps if there was more of "how to" videos or a better implementation aid for new users, this would help

### "A useful tool with excellent customer support"

November 3, 2015

5.0

We collect feedback (Suggestions, problems and desires) from all of our employees in all departments. In the past, many topics have perished due to the mass of feedback. It was also not always clear on what issues should now be working. Now our meetings are very structured due TargetProcess and the staff know what they are supposed to work and work much faster.

Pros

The best thing is that I can develop my own processes in the tool. I can translate the needs and requirements of my clients exactly. Thus, I can build a IT supporting project management adapted to the company. Sometimes I do not get ahead when programming my user-specific requirements. But the customer support is really fantastic. There is a contact person of TargetProcess has contacted me. This person has processed my problems always directly. Either he can solve the problem directly or he has informed the competent developers about it and the challenge was eliminated in the shortest possible time.

Cons

I find it a pity that the tool is not yet available in German. I personally have no problem with it, but many executive employees who do not speak English are working with this tool. This has already cost some nerves among employees. But it is positive that the employees also learn a bit of English.

### "Great for Project Management"

July 19, 2019

5.0

We have been extremely satisfied with TP and continue to grow how we utilize the software across various teams.

Pros

We utilize TP daily for all of our project tracking and testing purposes. We have multiple product software suites that we continually maintain/update, and using TP allows us to easily coordinate and plan the hierarchy of those enhancements. We use this for testing new enhancements, as well as production issues and additional feature request enhancements.

Cons

When pulling reporting and exporting to CVS, there are limitations to the number of records that can be exported. We have learned to filter down our reporting and pull in multiple requests.

### "The gift and the curse, a Target Process Story"

February 23, 2017

4.0

In all the application works well and has lots of value for it's role in our day to day operations. My company uses the system as the corner stone application for our agile project development system of management and for the most part it works quit well. The system is flexible enough not to lock you into a pre-determined work-flow box but structured just enough to help save you from yourself at times. There are many opportunities for improvements such as duplicating user stories, tasks, and test cases as new items, the filtering is found to be quite difficult especially for non-development folks such as myself, and the ability to share boards with outside teams or clients could be a tad more useful. In all a solid product that fits with just about any team size that is dependable and constantly improving.

Pros

Ease of use and constant improvements.

Cons

For me, there seems to be some obvious functionality that is not included such as duplicating user stories, tasks, test cases and such.

### "A highly customizable Project Management software"

June 23, 2016

4.0

As a Product Owner, I use Targetprocess every single day, from the very beginning of a project when I prepare the roadmap to the last release of the software. And everyone in the team uses it as well, allowing me to know in real-time which user story has been started or which bug has been fixed.

Pros

The way views can be created and customized is really awesome and the visual encoding feature is great to highlight cards based on their properties. I use tag-based colors a lot! I also love how easily I can notify a specific user while writing a comment. A few weeks ago, I started using Targetprocess API to automatically build the changelog and the release note of our software and I was impressed to get it to work so quickly.

Cons

Setting up notifications based on card transitions is not so easy. I would also like to restrict card transitions based on user roles.
