Not really impressed for how much it costs. Very confusing!

Pros

The only pro I see to this software is the ability to track bugs/feature requests and reply back to team members on tickets.

Cons

I find this software super confusing. I am a pretty tech savvy person but this one really threw me for the loop. I can never find how to do simple tasks which is discouraging. I would not recommend using this software.

Pros

When I first started using Targetprocess I was shocked at all the cool features and options it has. So much can be done and I like the UI too.

Cons

The only thing I struggled with was that because it is so robust it can be challenging to set up...and kind of overwhelming actually. If you can take it step-by-step and allow time for the setup it is definitely worth it when you're done.

Own views for each developer to cater their personal needs is a huge bohus. Also ability to track status of each project in your portfolio in one view helps me personally.

Pros

You can customize almost everything as you wish, it's very modular.

Cons

Sometimes existing data is hard to export for other use.

I love the mix of tools available - prioritization, planning, project management, testing (LOVE the test plans), plus I like the ability to keep items in a hierarchy so if I make a change to a higher level item (project/feature), It flows down to the lower levels (feature/user story), and I don't have to change everything individually.

Pros

Lots and lots of views - and flexibility in how to set up those views to meet your needs perfectly Test plans are easy to set up & execute, as well as logging bugs caught during testing Easy to customize nearly anything - columns in a kanban progress board, terminology, etc.

Cons

Be careful how you associate items - if you add a test plan to a user story and then delete that user story, you lose access to the test plan (but the amazing customer service people can re-instate it very quickly!)

Good mobility, both for iOS and Android apps are available so it can be used on the go. Easily track the time spent on each project to help maximize efficiency and modern user interface with a nice look and feel to it.

Cons

Target Process could be more evolved in terms of integrations with external applications and should offer more customization on its setup.

We have been using target process for several years on a rather large software project. We have roughly 30 members all using the software and it has been a delight to use. There are other solutions out there like Jira but TargetProcess has worked great for our needs. What sets TargetProcess apart from other solutions is their support. Anytime I have a question I have someone on live chat that can help me and every time their support has solved my questions.

Pros

I like the ability to build custom boards, views and reports. Customer service is great as well

Cons

Bulk actions are tough, right clicking in text editors for spell check is disabled and sometimes I just want to list all people but apparently I need to make a view for that

Awesome software. Keeps your team focused on the project, not how to use the software.

Pros

We've cycled through a number of project management software but Targetprocess is one of my favorites. Our team jumped right into it and rarely had any issues with figuring out how to use it. Targetprocess doesn't hold your hand, but rather allows our team the freedom to pursue and complete our projects in a way that best suits our workflow. We all stayed on task and following each individual's progress was easy and fun.

Cons

A few views are missing and sometimes it's difficult to see day-to-day progress on projects. With a little practice and playing around with functions these things aren't too much of an issue for us anymore.

We implemented Targetprocess to help our virtual team stay on the same page and optimize workflow. Implementing Kanban has helped improve our communication and reduce roadblocks which has made it possible to meet our customers' needs more effectively.

Pros

It has an intuitive interface that clearly shows the who, what, where and how. It's feature rich without being cumbersome. The team at Targetprocess is responsive to suggestions and are continuously improving existing features and adding nuances that make it more flexible.

Cons

Every once in a while, displaying cards by team or project seems to get jumbled, though I'm sure if I applied the RTFM maxim I'd be able to figure out why.

\- Easy to use. - Can track the all the activities of the user. - Can track the times. - Can put separate times for each and every assignee. - Can run the customize reports. - There is a good end to end flow.

Cons

\- Price is very high of small company. -If one test case has lots of steps, it is hard to read the steps in test run.

We choose TP for it's ability to answer most of our needs in Agile / Scrum / Kanban. You can can do almost "anything you want"... but sometimes you get lost in "what is the best way to do it". We needed several weeks (months !) before finding the right views for each situation of our work (conception, plannification / getting things done / reviewing / making the stats /...), and the right procedure to read (or record) the right information As there are many ways to access/edit an information, some actions are not always available when you think they would. IE : - Adding time spent in the past is really hardwork // especially you have to add US/tasks that weren't previously created - Changing TeamIteration for a task or a US is not available in every view of a task/US in the work hierarchy But in the end, TP is pretty helpful for us. Keep on going ! Thanks guys

Hard work to build the rights views Inconsistency : differents views of a same item (task /US) doesn't offer the same actions // the same way of actions (IE : assigning a team / a teamiteration)

We implemented Targteprocess 5 years ago to make the transition from physical sticky notes and boards and provide real time visibility to management. Targetprocess 2 was VERY easily adopted and was a great tool for our team in probably the largest project we had faced to date. The customer service is the best of any service organization I have dealt with. There has been less adoption with Targetprocess 3, especially for non-Technical project team members.

Pros

Targetprocess 2 is just like a physical task board and VERY easy to learn. Burn down charts, task board, task assignments and time entry are clean and easy.

Cons

Targetprocess 3 presented a huge adoption drop for our more non-technical resources

Coming from a hybrid of JIRA and physical whiteboards has been seamless. We have nothing but positive things to say about TargetProcess and their continuously improving product. Now our entire organization can beat to the same drum by actually seeing an internal road map.

Pros

1\. Customer Support is world class 2. Continuous product improvement 3. Ability to heavily customize 4. How when you click into an entity they are a familiar landscape. cuts down on the learning curve. 5. Timeline view 6. Public views

Cons

1\. The ability to create custom tabs in entities 2. Timeline views, need to be able to use custom date fields to drive certain start and end dates. 3. Permissions. This needs to be revamped it causes a lot of roadblocks. 4. Timeline views, i know you are anti Gantt charts, but the ability to highlight an entity in a red box and show dependencies to other entities on a timeline view would make it so we can use TargetProcess for project meetings.

I've been with Target Process for awhile and I like that it's improving constantly.

Pros

I like that I can view the work in each sprint in a variety of different ways.

Cons

Some of flows aren't as obvious, when I look at a user story and close the that partcular window, sometimes I'm taken out of context or not in the context I'm expecting.

It's ease of use and it's appropriateness to the way we ran projects.

We recently moved from version 2.x to the cloud based service. While change always has some challenges, the support was great. With version 3 I can easily find ways to alter the presentation of data so that it is useful for all of the audiences who rely on the data, whether the boss or the developer. I look forward to future releases.

Pros

The configurable views, the ease of filtering, and the ability to add custom fields and utilize them throughout the product.

Cons

I cannot share a custom view with a single individual user without turning that user into a Team. I want a list view for specific time log entries (support indicated this was coming though).

I have tried Mingle, Jira, Version One, Trello and a whole host of other PM tools and I constantly come back to TP. It's a portfolio, story mapping, delivery and QA test tool all in one but is so much more. You can use it for software development, ticket management as well as on any project that has clear visible workflows that can be visualized. It's strengths are its flexibility and ease of use and the fact that it is constantly being improved based on real customer feedback. The customer support and knowledge of the product is second to none.

Pros

Flexibility, ease of use, graphical nature, speed of response

Cons

Left navigation needs multiple levels, no undo,templates for a given team would be great

TargetProcess is simple and easy to use. It's really straightforward and I rarely have to consult the help section.

Cons

Very hard to search for items that have been created in the past. The only reliable way to find items is to create many different custom views and have them saved. Would love more filters in the search and more pre-set views that I don't have to spend time creating

\- Customization capabilities - Task automation - Reporting capabilities

Cons

\- Very unusable paging (first scroll and then click down arrow) - Weekends are calculated into cycle time which makes results mostly unusable when talking cycle times around 4 days. - Bugs should have tasks and be more like user stories, not like tasks. User stories and bugs go on same flow. - Bad Performance (loading times) - Views go sometimes out-of-sync and require full refresh (F5) - No date+time type custom field. Only date. - It should be possible to describe acceptance criteria to each step in process - Lots of downtime

I really like the product to manage my work. There is a lot of structure behind it and I still keep discovering new functions, there are so many! (reporting, views, comments, notifications, filters,...) The support is great and the app can really do a lot of tricks, very nice!

After evaluating multiple kanban type products and finding them either lacking, expensive or simply frustrating I found Targetprocess to be a breath of fresh air. It starts easy but you can get very detailed. And I'm not the typical user as I don't develop software but run a transportation company based on Lean/Agile process methodologies.

Pros

It supports a simple kanban with reports for free It can however also scale to full teams, projects and scrum based sprints in a blink of an eye

Cons

Cost for team implementation are prohibitive if this is not your core product like it is for software development companies. Service companies like me could use it as an upgraded version of their task list/project lists but then the cost per user is prohibitive.

We've been using TP for many years. It brings transparency to our development process and helps our customers to get product they want

Pros

\- helps to get predictible outcome from your team - you can really tune it for yourself, any process - you can set development process as flexible or strict , as you wish - lots of useful integrations

Cons

\- can be complicated for novice users to start using it ( other side of flexibility ) - UI can be slow at some points - e-mail notifications hard to set-up, and users can't unsubscribe ( this may have been fixed in recent updates )

We started working with targetprocess to handle web development projects. It helped us to track progress and we managed our priorities accordingly.

Pros

It has very cool UI where you can see the progress of the tasks easily. The creating of tickets is easy and it offers high level of detail. It has great interactions with each phase of development.

Cons

There are so many project development softwares in the market, and target process is just one of them which do not want to compete with prices. They should open up their market and provide some extra ordinary things such as handling of unique items. They have to make their prices more startups friendly.
