Pros

  • This is a great software, all the staff are happy to use the app and web version, quick to up-load on the go when you are rushing. A must have for every gardening/landscaping business.

  • Overall i am extremely happy and would recommend to anyone. The boys are extremely helpful and fast acting.

  • Find it fairly seamless and quick, easy to use, stores a lot of information about site history which is useful. The Sortscape product support has also been excellent and quick.

  • Sortscape has been a lifesaver for my business. It keeps track of all my ongoing jobs, creates a nice tidy database of all my clients, it keeps track of all previous visits (Date,work done + more).

Cons

  • Difficulty to drag and drop on handheld devices e.g. iPhones and iPads.

  • Inability to add that a visit to a site just for a quote. Have to create it as a job.

  • During the time I’ve used the product, which now is a little over two years, I think I’ve experienced only two or three outages, which each lasted for no more than five minutes.

  • Inability to go through the schedule to attach a photo to a job that won’t disappear after the first visit.

"Sortscape for Lawnies"

Overall: I have been using Sortscape now for almost 2 years and I am very impressed with the product. I have passed on my thoughts to fellow lawnies who now use it

Pros: I love the ease of using it. The maps just added is a game changer

Cons: That you cant have people with the same name but have different addresses

"Lawn care business "

Overall: The company is very responsive to questions and very open to suggestions. Very positive experience.

Pros: Ease of use and support from the company

Cons: Inability to add that a visit to a site just for a quote. Have to create it as a job. They are working on this from what I’ve heard

"Best app ever"

Overall: Bloody great i like that when i have a issue the team are right there to help me

Pros: I love it that i can schedule everything and the guys can go on there phones and see the schedule

Cons: When you mive things from the unscheduled to an asigned run all the runs move around

"Excellent Platform"

Overall: This platform is amazing for our Garden Maintenance business. All of the information we need is captured and recorded very well.

Pros: Desktop version is very easy to use, functionality is very straightforward, excellent customer service

Cons: Scheduling crews only works well for very basic calendars/schedules

Switched From: Google Calendar
Reasons for Switching to SortScape: Our company grew very quickly and the old platform was no robust enough to hold all the information for jobs that we needed.

"Great APP! Highly Recommend! "

Overall: Great - would do it all again! Great app and great support team.

Pros: The support team are great. As a small business that operates in the maintenance sector, this is the app you want/ need! Works seamlessly to schedule customers and scales great with your business as it grows.

Cons: Very little. Bugs are usually fixed very quickly. A few features not available yet that some other apps have but have been advised it's on the roadmap and they're great in rolling things out in a timely fashion.

"Sortscape review"

Overall: Very good for both operational management and use in the field

Pros: Simple, clean and well-managed. Very easy to use

Cons: Could do with some new functionalities and enhancements now we’re 7 years in

"Garden maintenance 3 year user"

Overall: The team at sortscape has always been super proactive. The software they have created had minimal faults, however, if there has been something I have struggled with, they have been quick with their response, offering suggestions or ulterior suggestions.

Pros: Me and my team leave the easily organised sections of the app. Being able to quickly make changes as our workload changes day to day.

Cons: The only downside, is if my team have split days on different jobs but all join in one job at the end of the day, we have to itemise this separately, but this is a minor downfall which is easily overcome by the creation of different job runs

"Fox Mowing Canada Bay"

Overall: 9/10 Overall, it works very well for my needs.

Pros: The scheduling side of the programme. It is relatively seamless

Cons: Would like a daily dollar value show up on the daily run sheet.

"Best bang for your buck"

Overall: Nothing short of fantastic, everything it promises to be and more.

Pros: Unlike a lot of the scheduling software available Sortscape keeps it simple and doesn't try to be a full blown accounting package. I have tried nearly all scheduling software available and most you pay for features that are replicated in your accounting software which only complicates the issues. Apart from that The support service is above and beyond anything on the market.

Cons: One small thing which really isn't a big issue is the lack of a time slot allocation but there is a work around if this is an issue but honestly once you work with the system a while it's no big deal.

Switched From: Tradify, Ascora, ServiceM8 and Fergus
Reasons for Switching to SortScape: I was looking for something that did my scheduling without trying to be MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks

"Making paperless lawn care care so easy"

Overall: I have solved a headache of spreadsheets , this app has truly made my life so easy I can not even explain,I went from a spread sheet with 30 jobs I used to manually change dates every day, to a active customer base now of 3161 jobs I couldn't even imaging using a spread sheet for that many jobs.

Pros: Paper less can access the app anytime any where Can easily add and delete jobsCan easily set up recurring jobs weekly monthly etc.Invoices made easy

Cons: 1 feature would be good if you could some how type in the invoice number and it raiser that job up, I personally add a invoice number to every job, some times I need to find that job I know I can search the address but sometimes I have been to this address 50 plus times as well, so If I could search invoice number as well.

"Useful and simple application"

Pros: Easy to use, quick, instant, communicates information to staff quickly

Cons: Some small items that could be added on later. - capability to block out a specific date for public holiday, staff leave etc. - ability to customise a price for a specific reoccurring client

Reasons for Switching to SortScape: This used a lot of unnecessary information and wasn't quite tailored to what we needed. It didn't take much research to find Sortscape, the free trial, and the rest was history

"Lawncare"

Overall: The ease of use of the whole system from scheduling to routing as well as tracking all past visit history.

Pros: integration was very easy once everything was automatically uploaded from Xero, and it was very user friendly, within a day I was able to use it as it was so easy to pick up and any issues you just message the guys and they will get back with either an answer or they will solve the issue for you.

Cons: No one program is going to fit any business model fully, you have to adapt around the programming but it just seems to work well. if there was a negative it would be that the photos taken do not seem to stay attached forever and it would be nice to attach files and have a chemical sheet but that said we are using the issues part which so far seems to hold all customer details needed.

"Can't recommend enough!"

Pros: Been using Sortscape for a couple of years now and I couldn't imagine running the business without it. Never have to worry about forgetting to schedule a client in and definitely don't need the old school pen and paper diary anymore. Plus they connect to Xero making invoicing a lot faster! Honest can't recommend them enough, I even asked them to raise prices as they provide way more value than we are paying.

Cons: The only thing that would be nice is to have invoices go straight from Sortscape into Xero and sent out to customers. At the moment it goes to draft and then you need to approve and email. But they are working on this as they have told me. The other thing would be to add a note to each day and be able to drag it in between clients. For example if I have to pick up something from the mower shop, I could create a note, and drag that to be placed after the last job that closest to the mower shop.

Reasons for Choosing SortScape: Cheaper, simpler. Had everything I needed at a better price and didn't try to do too much. Other software was confusing.

That should save you time from having to go into Xero and sending the invoices after they've been created...they'll just get sent automatically! "Time & Sanity saver"

"best gardening scheduling software on the market"

Overall: ive been using sorts cape for 6 years now and it stands out compare to other similar software on the market; it is immediate to use , clear, simple and it integrates with Xero so it makes scheduling ,management and invoice incredible fast

Pros: simple to use, immediate, clear ,nice graphic , easy to understand, efficient

Cons: I like everything about this software and I wouldn't change anything

"Best scheduling app available "

Overall: Sortscape was a game changer for my business. Eady to setup and change the schedule to suit my week. Easy to invoice customers through Xero

"Cant work without it, Exceptional product, impeccable customer service."

Overall: Overall, this product has cut my scheduling and paperwork time down tremendously. I used to use google calendar, spreadsheets and various trials with other software and this has been the best so far. When i had staff they were able to leave notes for each job that you could see in the office and after they completed jobs they could leave issues that get addressed next visit. I honestly cant imagine running the business without it now it so powerful and time saving.

Pros: Sortscape has been a lifesaver for my business. The boys at sortscape are super easy to get in contact with, if you have issues they will address them straight away and are willing to take time to teach you how to use the program more effectively.

Cons: There is really not much to say about it on the negative side, once you get used to using it, it becomes a crucial part of the business and saves a lot of time scheduling! There could be some minor tweaks on the mobile app but its 100% user friendly and i have no issues. The boys at sortscape are working day in and day out and always putting out updates and improvements where they can, so this product is bound to just keep getting better and better.

Reasons for Switching to SortScape: Save time, more structured to tracking jobs, customers and tracking invoicing.

"SortScape for my Business"

Pros: I have found SortScape to be a fantastic addition to my business in regards to scheduling. It’s such a simple product to use which makes a huge difference compared to other products. The support is great and the cost is minimal. Definently recommended.

Cons: None i have found it to be all positives.

"Best Landscape Management software "

Overall: We needed a way to schedule and track jobs on a cloud based system that could be accessed by our crew members and leaders anywhere and in real-time. Sortscape answered our need and went beyond it.

Pros: We are beyond thrilled with SortScape. We searched for 2 years and tried numerous industry specific products and came across SortScape on Google. The customer support and service coupled with the simple, easy use is what sold us. We couldn't be happier and do not plan on changing at all. [sensitive content hidden] and the team have been receptive to feedback and are always prompt in response for any customer service needs.

Cons: We have not has any bad experiences or negative feedback. Overall we believe this is the best product on the market for a company our size.

"Simple Cost Effective Scheduling App"

Overall: We have overall had a great experience using Sortscape.

Pros: We liked the simplicity of the scheduling function. Recurring visits get a little more intricate but doable.

Cons: We wish there was a way to choose what info subcontractors are able to see, such as the cost of the job and clients contact information. If there were, we would use sortscape as a CRM but cannot.

Reasons for Choosing SortScape: Cost, ease of use, appropriate for the lawn care segment of our business.

"Perfect for solo operators"

Overall: Outstanding. Makes admin simple and quick.

Pros: It has what i need, nothing that i dont need.

Cons: Cant think of anything. Theyre very responsive to issues and improvements.

"We love Sortscape"

Overall: We have even established our own job tracking system through Sortscape, which could be used for any construction company wanting to know how long and how much money they have spent on each task within a job, as opposed to just the entire profit and loss for that job

Pros: It has revolutionised our business, from Timesheets to logistics to tracking spend, its fantastic

Cons: It needs to link with MYOB for invoicing and in app communication between users would be great

"Schedule at your fingers"

Overall: Overall i am extremely happy and would recommend to anyone. The boys are extremely helpful and fast acting

Pros: The ease at which i can set my schedule up and then sortscape takes care of all the mundane task and with a click of a button your job gets repopulated. Very easy to keep a track of your padt jobs. The options of having a map of your job locations is also a very handy feature

Cons: Having colour codes that you could put on each category for example lawn mowing comes up green, hedges come up blue and so forth.
