The tool requires you to do a set up initially by asking you to perform a number of steps. The overall experience has been very good and the authentication process is very robust. Pros Connect Secure is one of the best tools that I have used for connecting to virtual machines. The application sends automated notifications to your mobile phone and you also get the alternate option of going in the application and entering the code manually in case the automated notification doesn't trigger for some reason. Cons There were some challenges in getting this application on my registered mobile device for the first time and eventually I had to reach out to my IT desk to get the application installed on my phone. As long as you have an internet connection and valid network credentials, accessing the companies web server remotely is very very simple. Pros What I liked most about Connect Secure is how simple it is to use. Once you have established the network you want to connect to, all you need to do is enter in your credentials and you're in. This makes working remotely incredibly easy as you have access to your network just as if you were in the office. Cons The only complaint I have with Connect Secure is that it runs in the background no matter if you are using it or not. It is not very memory intensive, and you do have the ability to disable the Startup Launch so this is more of an annoyance than a major con.
