Cons Pulse setup roll back error occurs sometimes when we try to repair pulse secure, previously we used to change max filter settings in regedit ( in windows 7 ) but is no longer available in windows 10. need a fix for this issue. Very much kitchen sink when it comes to features. The most effective attribute of this tool is that is it super easy to set up and configure on client devices. User experience-wise, the client provides a good deal of feedback on what is going on and allows connection through a lesser number of steps than other VPN client tools that are available. I've never had an issue using it, and have never had complaints from co-workers. Similarly, we have never experienced a security breach. It's a nice bit of security in a world filled with scammers and hackers. Pros Connect Secure is a solution to provide a secure VPN connection for organizations. We use it daily. It's extremely simple to use and easy to set up. Ours is set up so that the connection lasts for approximately 8 hours (at which point you need to reenter credentials). It is a fast and secure service to enable optimization of our cloud services and data center applications. It works fine on laptops and other devices. What I like most about it is that once it's on, you're not even aware of it. Very seamless application. Cons The only thing I did not like about this software (and this could just be user-error) is that sometimes the shortcut icon disappears from my dashboard. Again, I don't think this is necessarily a flaw with the application but is probably user error. Pros So I have been using pulse from past 1 month in my company ,I can surely say that it is the best software out there to use if you are in a working environment. I was provided a licensed version from my company side,as I travel a lot and connect to the general wifi's ,I find it extremely useful to have. The verification process and the easy set up options makes it a cherry on the cake. You can verify connection either py push notification or even by 1 time otp generation. If you are a part of a company then I would highly recommend to use it. Cons There isn't anything that I don't like about this app. One thing that could be added is that for verification they can add a fingerprint option too as I mostly use otp and push notification generation from my mobile. Inbuilt fingerprint in laptop will be a great option for verification. It also supports single sign-on in many configurations. Cons The downside of the flexibility is that it is sometimes not easy to get a job done. Pros I've had the opportunity to continue using Pulse Secure throughout this year and I've learned to appreciate its simplicity over other VPN tools. I've installed it on my desktop and laptops without any problems and is easy to configure for my work connection. A simple Connect button really is all a VPN program needs and Pulse does it right. Once connected, I've never had any latency issues or disconnections, outside of those that could probably attributed to either host or client side connections. Pulse's connection is encrypted and you can rest assured that your connection is safe. Cons I don't have anything negative to say about Pulse as my opinion of it over time has just gotten better and I don't seem to experience the issues I used to have with it anymore.
