The frequent disconnections are a deal breaker when you depend on having that connection to get work done. Pros The interface is fairly intuitive. Each secure connection option is listed with a connect or disconnect button next to it. Cons It is constantly getting disconnected, and I have to login again. This is the primary VPN that my work allows us to use, and I use it very frequently when I work remotely from home. I click the connect button, enter my password, and in a few seconds I'm able to remote desktop into my work machine. Cons Occasionally it complains about the Java version you have installed on your machine, so as long as you update that when needed, this software runs without a problem. Review Source KK Karolina K. Cons Not sure what it looks like from an admin perspective, but as a user, I have never had an issue using it. Pros Pulse is really easy to use. The connexion is made automatically at the start up and nothing is needed from my part. It's transparent from my point of view and allow me to work like if i was on my company network. Pros I use this software on my work computer to protect healthcare data. I love that it is light software that runs in the background without constant popups and notifications. It does not take up a bunch of RAM or battery while it is running, which I have experienced with other security options. Cons I do not have any complaints about this software. Pros The interface is simple and installation and setup is easy. I like the options to easily manage multiple VPN profiles in one place. Cons It's too slow and unreliable at times. Secure VPN connections sometimes takes too long to connect using this application and often takes up valuable development time. Had multiple issues authentication issues with it often. Pros Not everyone gets he working principle behind it but it helps you connect to a private network and access files from outside the private network. It is just fascinating. Cons THE SETUP, I could blame the organisation for the improperly setting up and not providing enough instructions but at the same time, ConnectSecure should have a searchable list of the private networks on is trying to access provided that anyone can look those up anyways, the authentication is still there. As long as you have an internet connection and valid network credentials, accessing the companies web server remotely is very very simple. Pros What I liked most about Connect Secure is how simple it is to use. Once you have established the network you want to connect to, all you need to do is enter in your credentials and you're in. This makes working remotely incredibly easy as you have access to your network just as if you were in the office. Cons The only complaint I have with Connect Secure is that it runs in the background no matter if you are using it or not. It is not very memory intensive, and you do have the ability to disable the Startup Launch so this is more of an annoyance than a major con. Connect Secure allows each employee to verify their ID and connect to the network securely and access the same files and programs they could while connected to the wired network at the office. Pros Our company uses Connect Secure by Pulse Secure to allow it's workers to connect to our network via a virtual private network. This allows us to use our Outlook mail and access our network drives while we are at home or on the road. Cons I haven't found a con to this software yet. It works flawlessly.
