Value for Money

Pros: was a way to save my number while abroad without paying for my cell phone service that I could not use. The problem - did not work as they claimed and i could not port my number back.

Cons: Could not port my number back to my carrier even though they said I could before I purchased their services. also glitches in system - did not receive emails for voice mail after a few months. they never could fix it. Cumbersome interface with time consuming functionality.

Overall: I ported my number from cricket to tossable digits for my trip to south america for 5 months in order to save my number of 20 years which is tied to my business and a lot of word of mouth referrals. I did not want to pay for cricket while abroad while not be able to use it. It seemed like a great solution. They assured me that I could port it back when I returned. However, as it turns out one can't port back to cricket. One can port back to t-mobil or AT&T or Verizon. All of which are more expensive and require me to buy a new phone which I don't need. Cricket can use my existing phone but I need a new number. So I thought perhaps I could forward calls from tossable digits to this new cricket number but then I not only would I have to keep paying them a monthly fee but also pay per minute for every forwarded call. The whole point of this was to save money not spend more. When I tried to complain on their chat I get no response and just taken to the the review of chat page. This happened several times once we got to the point where they have no answer for me. They just don't respond and disconnect the chat. Nice.
