Pros Being able to simply Park a phone number and then use its features for such a reasonable cost has been a real eye-opener to me. The service does everything they say it does and does them well. I'm very satisfied with the product. The support team when I needed them was very responsive and immediately addressed my concerns. Cons There could be some small improvements made to the responsiveness of SMS when I use their app to respond to messages. There are some other minor concerns that I think with some usability testing they could improve upon. Review Source CP Cindy P. July 5, 2023 5.0 See above Pros I ported my number from Tossable to another carrier, who delayed the port due to their error. Afterwards I wrote Tossable the following: “Everything has finally been resolved with Visible and my number has been successfully ported out of Tossable. But more than that, I wanted to let you know that PJ was a lifesaver. PJ was the only person who took my request seriously and took the time to really look into what was going wrong. I related to Visible what PJ explained was the cause of the problem, and I suspect that was what finally got Visible to accept responsibility for the hold up and fix it. PJ is the person responsible for making this port a success. And overall, my husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the Tossable service while we were overseas. It worked perfectly to get emails every time a phone call or text was received on our US numbers, and the service was ridiculously inexpensive for what we received. You preserved our numbers for us so that when we returned to the US, we could reactivate them, but also provided us a great service in being able to receive authentication codes, etc. when we had to manage business online from overseas. What an awesome service! Thank you to your whole team, especially PJ, and we hope your business becomes a huge success. You deserve it. Cons There was nothing I disliked about Tossable. It just works for our simple needs. Pros This product filled a need for us to have a hotline for our drivers to call as well as single number that can be forwarded to whomever is on call. Tossable Digits does this brilliantly at a low cost. Cons I love everything about it. It is exactly what we were looking for. Reason for choosing Tossable Digits We didn't need to pay an extravagant price per call or monthly fee to have a live call answering service to distribute hotline messages or forward calls to whomever may be on call. Pros Being able to port my phone number while I live abroad has been such a help. I can still send and receive texts and calls on my old number. Upon my return I can continue using a number that everyone still recognizes. A seem less solutions for expats living abroad. Great for tracking down people when conducting investigations if you want to avoid revealing your identity. Cons Honestly nothing it’s a great service. If it were free that would be better. I just wish that they would offer more support in terms of setting up your account and transitioning your number over. And by support I mean live customer service to help you. Not way through their mediocre documentation yourself Pros It was nice having a piece of software that linked me to my US-based contacts. It also allowed me to keep my personal cell ported so when I return I could really use that same number. Cons The software itself, the interface is kind of Kludgy. You had to stumble through it to figure out how to use it. The instructions for use were not the most helpful. Additionally, there was no live support. You were forced to wade through there documentation, which was not always the most helpful. It was learn as you go. Since they’re a communications company, a communications software firm, You would think that they’d have live customer support so you can ask a question and they could help you set up the account appropriately and get the best understanding of their product. I was searching in google a site web that can handle that situation. And someone who had the same problem shared his experience how he is very satisfied of Tossable Digit services. He lives outside of USA and still has his phone number for several years by using Tossable Digit and always stay in touch with his friends. He lights my idea and I become a user of tossable Digit... that’s My best experience ! Pros Great opportunity to keep a phone number safe when we live outside of USA so that friends and family still be to our heart. That’s awesome ! Cons I think the most important thing is to get Tossable Digit App to make more easier on smart phones and faster to use instead of going to the web when we get a message or something else to do. Pros Ease of set=up, clear and easy to manage website, good customer service. Cons The strange billing - cannot decipher what this costs per month as billing is not monthly but cumulative. Months are not 30 days but with strange beginning and ending dates. Not user-friendly at all and may be a reason to look elsewhere. May 19, 2023 5.0 Pros The transition was seamless; I moved abroad but wanted to keep my U.S. cell phone number, AND most importantly, I needed to be able to receive those codes via text from various logins! I always receive my text messages immediately via email from Tossable Digits; I’ve recommended it to tons of classmates also moving abroad. Overall however, I'm very happy with the product and do recommend it to others regularly. Pros I heard about Tossable Digits when I was moving to Germany and decided to try it out. I have had the same number since I was 16, so I didn't want to lose that in the moving process. It has been so nice to have! So many companies text verification codes and occasionally I need to call my bank. Both of those things are possible through Tossable Digits. Pros Phone numbers become your identity over time, with dozens of accounts making use of your mobile number to verify your access, authenticate your device, and contact you to recover lost or locked accounts. To lose your mobile number is to lose this identity. Tossable Digits allows us to maintain this access, even when we are working abroad, just like having a second USA-based phone in our pockets. Cons There are a few caveats... The numbers, once ported to TD, don't appear to be mobile numbers any longer. Established accounts that send automated verification number texts don't appear to care, but friends and family no longer see our once mobile number as a number they can message. For personal messaging, some other means has to be devised to keep up communication. Fortunately, there is no shortage of messaging options. Review Source RL Ryan L. I only wish I had thought to use them again to hold on to my foreign number. They have easy to use voicemail service for the number while its being held and it allows you to stay connected with that old number. Customer service at tossable is phenominal. I had a couple issues along the way and not only did they walk we through them but, usually they would help take them off my hands. I recommend them all the time to colleagues and friends in similar situations. I like that I'm able to have voicemail and text and that this comes through consistently. Tossable Digits met and exceeded my expectations. Not only with the "pay as you go option", but with their superb customer service. I had major Issues porting-In because the bigger company made a huge mistake. Tossable Digits was there every step of the way. I have continued to use Tossable Digit each time I travel abroad. I wish more travelers new about this great company! Pros I love how easy it to port-in and port out. I love getting the e -mail notifications about calls and text messages. Pros I like that it made my move to a new country more seamless. I didn’t want to cancel my number because we will be moving back to the original country, and all my accounts are associated with my old number so I needed to keep it in order to log in to those accounts and add my new number Cons Sometimes OTC’s (one time passcodes) from websites never arrive. Most of them do but I have noticed I don’t receive them sometimes, or sometimes they are very delayed.
