It was a simple transition to be able to communicate with friends and family via Tossable Digits. I had several questions before deciding to use Tossable Digits and the customer service was excellent. I stay in Japan, but i use my U.S. phone number almost 20 years, so I did not want to close my phone number for just the reason that i need to stay in Japan, for a while. I love the function that i can listen to the voice message and text message, too. Now, wait for good mobile app that I can aware right away to be able to check when somebody calls or texts. Pros Email notification of voicemail and text message of the phone number in the United States. (this is because i now stay in Japan. ) Cons I hope the app come out soon and app can make its own notification when the phone number receives the call from others. Then, i can aware it right away. Pros What made Tossable Digits stand out to me as opposed to other similar services was the ability to receive SMS short codes. It's very handy that I can have text messages forwarded to my email rather than having to check the portal whenever I'm looking for a text. This makes it easy to integrate messages with Slack or any other software that can receive emails. I like that I can keep my cell number private & instead give out my tossable digits. Cons The admin interface can be a bit daunting for inexperienced users, however if you know what you're looking for the settings are very straight forward. Easy to set up and easy to port out of! Pros I worked abroad for a year and needed a way to save my phone number and still use it in Australia. It was super easy to get voice mails and texts to my phone, and it made verifying online accounts possible when I didn’t have access to SMS. Cons Twice the website said my credit card wasn’t valid, but both times I went in and out the exact same card info in and it cleared. Very strange. But easily fixed! Make sure you are probing your number out to a big provider. You can’t port your number directly to Cricket or other subsidiaries. So far so good! Pros Very easy to sign up and use mutiple numbers, forward what I wish, reject what is trash. Pros I like that it's flexible and you can send calls to other numbers or email, and get notified via email etc. Cons So far, there is nothing per se that I can point out negative about the product. Pros Tossible Digits has created an easy to use and affordable platform to manage your virtual telephone numbers without much technical know how. I've been using TD for two years and have had very little issues, but when I stumbled upon an issue the customer support is always very helpful and responsive. Cons The inability to send or receive MMS messages is lacking in TD. I like the security knowing that if I move back to the U.S. long-term in the future, I can still have the same cell number I have always had. In the meantime, if a friend of family member leaves me a voicemail, the audio is delivered to my e-mail. The few times I have had questions about the service, the customer support has been excellent. Cons Nothing to complain about. The service has worked for me exactly as advertised. Not sure how long I would live abroad, I didn't want to relenquish my phone number back home and this amazing service provided me with a platform to "park" my number and still use the every day features. My calls are forwarded, I can still send and receive texts...it's brilliant! I recommend this to everyone I know who plans to move to another country for an extended period. Pros I'm an international student that travels out of the country often. To prevent losing my American phone number while in my home country, I have transferred it over to Tossable Digits. Tossable Digits allows me to make important calls even at home. I also can stay connected to my American friends. Cons The most difficult part of using Tossable Digits is that it does not allow me to dial extensions during a call. I am unable to use a general number when calling a company because I cannot "press 1" to be transferred to the correct department. Review Source DL Daniel L. Unfortunately, canceling a phone plan means losing your phone number which I also didn't want. Tossable Digits offered a service where I could park my phone number for only $5 a month. This is significantly cheaper than anything I could find with service providers (lowest was $30/month). Now when I go back to Canada, I will (hopefully) move my phone number back to my service provider and have saved a ton of money. Additionally, i get emails with the texts and voice-mail I receive. This is all I need because I can just use what's app or email if I need to respond. Cons There is nothing I haven't liked. Please keep the software simple and cheap. Review Source ZA Zechariah A. Pros I used this when I went to travel in South Korea abroad. It was inexpensive and allowed me to keep my American phone number when I ultimately came back. I would highly recommend. When I decided to change it, I realized I had a TON of services that used SMS for 2fa. Knowing I'd never be able to remember them all in a short period of time, and get them updates, I decided to park my number and forward SMS to my new number, but ignore calls. This worked flawlessly fit a little more than 2 years when I finally cancelled the service and let the old number go. Cons Nothing, this service worked great for the entire time I used it. Tossable Digits turned out to be a perfect option and for the unbeatable price. I ended up porting my TD number into a mobile plan back in the US, the same one I am now using for my business. This option was extremely cost-effective and easy to use - alternative services through my mobile phone provider were extremely expensive! Cons No complaints, really. I thought some of the onboarding and porting over of the phone number could have been explained a bit better, but once I spoke with some on customer service and they explained the process ot me it went smoothly. Pros I used Tossable Digits to hold my USA cell phone number while overseas. This enabled me to keep my phone number and still receive messages/voice mail– all for a low fee. When I returned to the USA for summer, I was able to temporarily port the number back to regular phone service. Flexible product and great customer service! Cons None that I can think of. Pros As a recent university graduate living abroad for a year, I didn't want to lose my American phone number but couldn't afford to use it in Europe. Tossable Digits offers an incredible phone porting service that made my transition abroad so much easier. It was simple to initiate, and I had access to help easily if I needed. The price is great, and the customer service is great too— one time I had a problem with being over billed and it got fixed quickly and easily. It's also cool that I can listen to voicemails from my email. Cons I have no complaints so far; I haven't yet returned home though, so I can't speak to how easy it is to gain access to my old number.
