Straightforward to use, clear to view and I visit regularly. I use the wall but my colleagues don't seem to be as aware of it which is a pity. This could be emphasised a bit more.

Pros

Easy to navigate, and view annual leave to ensure we don't overbook staff or request too much. I also like the wall to leave feedback to colleagues.

Cons

Not much to dislike, it is easy to navigate, although holiday booked doesn't always show up on the chart, I had to search in my personal account.

The app is very easy to use and straightforward, which makes it enjoyable to navigate. ### "Great onboarding, but offboarding needs serious work"

Our time using Homerun was largely positive while we were active users. The platform is well-designed, easy to navigate, and suited for small teams hiring fast. But the way our departure was handled left a bitter aftertaste. A more thoughtful approach to account closure, like a short data retention period—would make a big difference.

Pros

Homerun makes it easy to get started. Onboarding is fast, and managing candidates is intuitive and smooth. It’s clearly built with user-friendliness in mind.

Cons

Offboarding, unfortunately, is where things fall apart. Our account and all associated data were permanently deleted within 24 hours of cancellation. With no warning, no grace period, and no way to reverse it. That felt abrupt and unnecessarily rigid, especially when it meant losing access to important candidate conversations.

Pros

It is very easy to use. I received fast answer from customer service/support. The system is very visual and useful for open positions.

Very positive. I will use it again the next time we have a large scale application pool that we need to be able to sort swiftly and efficiently.

Pros

It has a simple userfriendly interface, and makes the process of sorting and evaluating applications straightforward and easy to carry out within a hiring team setting. in the arts, it is especially handy as it allows quick toggling between multiple candidates for comparative purposes, so that you can figure out who to interview as part of your hiring or selecting process. And if there are questions, customer support is prompt and helps solve any challenges quickly, so that you can focus on recruitment and not practical issues.

Cons

i just wish you could also give half-stars. one to five whole stars is a little imprecise when you are deciding between a large number of candidates.

Positively impressed with this tool on how easy the hiring process become. Really easy to post a vacancy, to adjust it/maintain. Plus really easy to see all the overview of the applicants in one site.

Pros

As hiring manager, Homerun really helped me to manage the whole interview process. Really easy and self explanatory. Allows you to communicate internally and with the candidates from one platform. It has really helped me to manage the candidates easily and categorize them accordingly base on the needs and the job profile.

Cons

Just to mention something, I don't like that every time you get a new candidate application the first thing you see is a popup for the application review. I dont find it useful. Would be lovely to have a phone app to manage the process from there.

You can head over to the Job setting (gear icon in the top right corner on the candidate overview), click the “Application” stage and click the toggle next to your own name to disable yourself as a reviewer. You can still review the candidate, but it won’t show the popup. Happy hiring!

Pretty good overall. They are clear in their communication and respond quickly if you need their help. The platform itself is easy to use and efficient.

Pros

The adequate help you receive. They respond fast and are always trying to help you out the best way possible.

Cons

They were flexible by providing us a shorter term contract. However, the fact that Homerun only offers yearly contracts now is something we dislike as a company. But like a said, it's appreciated they shortened the term for us.

Good to navigate and use, and the email notifications are helpful. I like the personal file store - I can store private things like my contract near the relevant information in Homerun.

Pros

Good interface - it feels natural and no training is needed. All the important items are clearly laid out.

Cons

The sign in page is either for HR professionals or "normal" users - it would be good if "normal" users did not see the other one, as it was confusing at first.

We didnt really have a HR system were we could all see who is in and easily check our putstanding holiday so this has been a game changer .

Pros

Homerun has been very easy to use and gives me easy access to keeping up to date with my holiday and what colleagues are available .

Cons

I find the layout on a mobile phone not very easy to use . The password is too fussy and wont let me use my usual formats so jeep forgetting the password .

Overall not a bad experience but not what we expected either. It was simple to post our job openings and to track all candidates during the different hiring phases they were in.

Pros

We appreicated that this platform was very user friendly and did not take alot of time to learn and navigate. We had a great deal of help from the support team they were great in resolving our many issues. Recruiters had a positive expereince using the platform as well.

Cons

A few things to be aware of, on the pricey side if you have a large team. Server would have glitches during high business hours and would have difficulity downloading reports. Could not customize reports to contact specific data about our candidates.

I like the platform, very handy. The team behind it is always giving 1000% to help as fast as possible if a system hiccup occurs. They are open for feedback and listen to their customer's wishes. I would definitely recommend using Homerun.

Pros

The whole setup of the platform is easy to manage, you can customize the features of your liking. Great features to track candidates, to manage all the steps throughout a hiring process. You have all the necessary info at 1 place about a candidate, also very handy for hiring managers.

Cons

I didn't have any significant problem throughout my 1 year of using Homerun so far. Sometimes (as with every company I presume) there might be some system errors, but their customer service are always responding in a timely manner and resolves the problem/gives great tips how to prevent it in the future.

Using Homerun has made hiring a lot easier, for most roles we just put a beautiful job post live, promote it everywhere we can and the applications start rolling in!! People who've applied even specifically mentioned how they liked our job pages. Besides that Homerun offers a lot of useful resources on how improve your job posts, your hiring process, your HR processes, etc. Very handy for me as HR is not my main role and i don't have time to figure out the details.

Pros

\- It's really easy to use - It makes us look professional - I love the way you can customize your job posts and make it your own - They also have a lot of useful resources on how to improve your HR and hiring - You can work together on qualifying applicants

Cons

\- The editor of job posts can sometimes feel a bit cumbersome while updating many job posts at the same time - I feel like the system could somehow do more for me as i tend to forget to perform steps or check in often enough

Pros

It's a really simple and easy to use system. Both for applicants and the team managing applicants. This is really important when you have a small recruitment team and lots of applicants to process.

Cons

I'd like to see the ability for applicants to respond anonymously to a EDI survey as part of the application process.

Reason for choosing Homerun

Ease of use, ability to have a simple application process with good UX and custom questions, the reasonable cost was a big factor.

It makes total sense using this software for HR management since we are on computers almost constantly. Staff Squared keeps management and admin tasks focused, information easy to find and also encourages staff to keep on top of their objectives too! Haven't come across any problems as yet but since the staff are so supportive maybe that's why. It's really decently priced too! Would definitely recommend.
