Straightforward to use, clear to view and I visit regularly. I use the wall but my colleagues don't seem to be as aware of it which is a pity. This could be emphasised a bit more.

Pros

Easy to navigate, and view annual leave to ensure we don't overbook staff or request too much. I also like the wall to leave feedback to colleagues.

Cons

Not much to dislike, it is easy to navigate, although holiday booked doesn't always show up on the chart, I had to search in my personal account.

Our time using Homerun was largely positive while we were active users. The platform is well-designed, easy to navigate, and suited for small teams hiring fast. But the way our departure was handled left a bitter aftertaste. A more thoughtful approach to account closure, like a short data retention period—would make a big difference.

Pros

Homerun makes it easy to get started. Onboarding is fast, and managing candidates is intuitive and smooth. It’s clearly built with user-friendliness in mind.

Cons

Offboarding, unfortunately, is where things fall apart. Our account and all associated data were permanently deleted within 24 hours of cancellation. With no warning, no grace period, and no way to reverse it. That felt abrupt and unnecessarily rigid, especially when it meant losing access to important candidate conversations.

It is very easy to use. I received fast answer from customer service/support. The system is very visual and useful for open positions.

To be honest, I do not have any complain yet. All the features that I have used has been very practical.

Positively impressed with this tool on how easy the hiring process become. Really easy to post a vacancy, to adjust it/maintain. Plus really easy to see all the overview of the applicants in one site.

Pros

As hiring manager, Homerun really helped me to manage the whole interview process. Really easy and self explanatory. Allows you to communicate internally and with the candidates from one platform. It has really helped me to manage the candidates easily and categorize them accordingly base on the needs and the job profile.

Cons

Just to mention something, I don't like that every time you get a new candidate application the first thing you see is a popup for the application review. I dont find it useful. Would be lovely to have a phone app to manage the process from there.

You can head over to the Job setting (gear icon in the top right corner on the candidate overview), click the “Application” stage and click the toggle next to your own name to disable yourself as a reviewer. You can still review the candidate, but it won’t show the popup. Happy hiring!

Pretty good overall. They are clear in their communication and respond quickly if you need their help. The platform itself is easy to use and efficient.

The adequate help you receive. They respond fast and are always trying to help you out the best way possible.

Cons

They were flexible by providing us a shorter term contract. However, the fact that Homerun only offers yearly contracts now is something we dislike as a company. But like a said, it's appreciated they shortened the term for us.

My overall experience is pretty good. Homerun is clear, simple and easy going. It's straight forward in the use and very accessible to all teammates.

Pros

It's very simple and clear. The steps are easy to follow and thanks to the notification you can reach what you need directly.

Cons

I don't really like how the comment section is done. Tagging doesnt really work when adding the first comment (at least for me) and it would be good to use comments and rating to trigger flows for the application process.

User-friendly platform with very approachable and helpful support. The chat is quick and brings all the information regarding the issue highlighted

Automatic responses can sometimes be frustrating to deal with, but they always offer an option to contact an agent.

Overall, it takes some time to figure things out and it can be difficult at first to personalise everything and get it working properly. Not everything feels intuitive in terms of usability. However, I do think it will make the selection process much easier in the end - so my colleagues who handle the selection will benefit from the extra effort.

Pros

The look and feel for applicants. This way of applying feels more accessible and low-threshold. It is also well suited for our open call.

Cons

There are still several technical bugs in the system, which resulted in frequent issues and meant I had to contact the helpdesk multiple times for support.

Overall, I love it! Any time I speak with a recruiter or former colleague from my network, I highly recommend they try using Homerun.

Pros

The UI and the efficiency of the simple-to-use features; the platform is easy to navigate and the integration with Slack is great because I am able to track new applicants in my recruiting channel, rather than receiving a ton of emails each time. I also love the dashboard and workflow customization. The convenience of being able to see the notes on the same page and tag colleagues when you need to direct their attention to a profile is also very handy.

Cons

It would be nice to be able to reply directly from my gmail account and have it integrate with the activities board in a specific job.

The overall experience is good, they are fast in their reaction and always ready to help us out when we have questions or suggestions.

Pros

The flow just works. Sometimes you have programs that just work, Homerun is one of them. It has a great overview and you can adjust everything very easily without being experienced. Using Homerun we have everything in one place and and no candidate slips through anymore.

Cons

The dashboard to monitor how candidates come in etc. is something that can still be improved. The bases is great but there is room for improvement.

If you want to keep all of your staff information in one place and be able to review it whether in or out of the office, Staff Squared does just that.

Pros

We have been using Staff Squared for 2 months now and cannot believe how it has simplified managing our staff. It is reasonably priced, easy to set up and is simple to use, even for someone like me with little or no HR knowledge.

Cons

At the present time I don't have any negative feedback about Staff Squared.
