We worked manually with our file server and Sharepoint environment and used WeTransfer to share our files. It took us quite a lot of time to find, update, share & manage all these assets. The control on consent management on assets was difficult for us, which was a major pain point in terms of GDPR compliance. Lytho was the obvious choice for us given the guidance their experience in the education market and support we received from their team prior to signing. The interface is easy to use. We like the ability to easy create your own menu filters (in different languages), easily share and upload files (whether for internal teams or external users). The workflows and the quitclaim module for making sure all our assets are always inline with the respective consent forms make life much easier. I’d highly recommend Lytho to any team looking to connect people to their brand. Very fast and simple implementation as the Lytho team walked us through the process, step by step. The user reporting could be improved, but we’ve been told that this is already being worked on and they now have endpoints available for Power BI tools. Pros The DAM is very userfriendly, especially the searchengine. It even recognizes typos. Next to that we had some issues to give external users access to the system. Lytho resolved these problems for us. The DAM gives us the possibility to share assets worldwide with our colleagues and dealers, with easy to set filtering options and internal and external authorisations. Brand consistency is a big focus, and making it possible for our colleagues to adjust publications with the Create & Publish tool make our work much easier. Pros The Lytho software has an easy to use interface, for users as well as for the administrators. Our users are very enthusiastic about the interface. Most recent feedback on Lytho from one of our users, "the ease of sharing assets is something that we were missing for the last few years". The Create & Publish tool makes it possible for colleagues to create marketing tools without the need for expensive software or an extensive background in desktop publishing, all within our company brand guidelines. Cons Personally I don't miss any features in Lytho at the moment. Our requests are handled on time, the implementation was simple, and we are already seeing the results that we were looking for when we decided to start working with Lytho. The user interface is intuitive and easy to understand for all our partners and internal users. Pros Lytho has been implemented for our business. We have provided our distributors with on-brand material and content. We use Lytho to provide branded templates which can be easily customized to promote our brands locally. We also use the DAM to either store images which can be used in templates and to provide other fixed marketing materials like commercials (both audio and video), banners, packshots. Cons Some minor features we missed, but those where added very quickly in one of the next sprints. We really like their agile approach. Overall the templates are quite fixed, like the size is not flexible. But depending on what you are producing it will not necessarily be a problem. The support works well, the results are there and we see great value in this solution. We now have full control over all templates and publications and can create as much output as we need without the quality being affected by fast speed. Create & Publish is something we will never want to work without. Pros We liked that the solution was so fast to implement and it’s easy to use. We use Lytho for creating marketing banners and flyers and such for our 20+ regions. It’s therefore very important to us that Lytho is able to guarantee brand consistency and efficiency and that they deliver translation and language support. This structure is quite complex to manage in relation to the many assets we have. Therefore we had trouble finding the right assets for the right purpose, which took a lot of time. Also our locations were having trouble with creating on-brand material to communicate with (potential) students. When we were introduced to the way Lytho has solved the categorizing and structuring of the Assets we were curious how that would work for us. Lytho gave us good guiding and best practices to create the taxonomy via a tag structure to be able to find the Asset we need. Combined with the permissions you can apply on user-level, locations and education levels only have access to the Assets they need to see. Next to the DAM we are also using the Brand guide module to inform every education level with their own branding guidelines. Nice feature there is that you can share a brand guide (with downloadables) as a webpage with everybody you want via a simple link! We are planning to integrate further with Lytho and also start using their Create & Publish module with dynamic templating and integration with Adobe InDesign. This will allow us to create templates for flyers and posters which our locations can dynamically fill, without needing designer skills. Meanwhile we can stay in control because the creations need to be approved by us. To conclude we recommend Lytho!
