### "Great Communication Tool for Small Businesses!"

Overall, I have not had any issues to note and highly recommend it to employers for employee communication. We are a group of 50+ employees, and it works great for our needs.

Pros

The site itself is easy to use and accomplishes everything we need for communicating with our employees. I love how it will mass message everyone and then allow them to respond individually. Additionally, we can create groups of employees to easily communicate with everyone without having to individually add each person. The recordkeeping is great, so we can see the chain of communication for each employee, just like a text messaging log. I also love the option to create templates for messages I send often--great time saver! The pay-per-use billing option is great, so I can just add a balance and allow it to be deducted from as I use it with the credits never expiring.

Cons

The phone app tends to log you out every time you close the app, so I have to log back in every time, which will require a security code verification. I appreciate the level of security; however, if I had to pick, this is the one negative I have seen with using the product overall. It's just an added step, but it is not a major issue overall.

### "Go somewhere else!"

TextMagic has really poor customer service. They’re slow to respond, unhelpful when they do, and give the impression that customer issues aren’t a priority. It feels like once they’ve got your money, they stop caring. Definitely not the kind of company you can rely on for support when something goes wrong.

Pros

Nothing good to say about this place. The customer service was terrible — rude, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in resolving my issue.

Cons

They do not take customer concerns seriously — even if you’ve been loyal for over a decade. I’ve been a customer for more than ten years, and the way they handled my recent issue was dismissive and unprofessional. It’s frustrating to feel like your loyalty means nothing. I expected better after all these years.

Overall, I am very pleased with the ease of use and user friendly layout of Textmagic. It has helped my team connect with many users on a daily basis with ease. There is no contract needed and you can top up with additional funds when needed. Pricing is very competitive compared to other texting platforms I've used. The user interface is very clean and organized and has a very low learning curve, which helps users get acclimated very quickly. This is super helpful when reaching out to customers and/or a userbase to gain feedback quickly and easily. There is also integrations for WhatsApp and Facebook, however, I have not had the need to utilize those at this time. Textmagic is a great tool to connect easily and quickly with a business' clients, users, and customers in an efficient manner. Highly recommended software.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use of Textmagic. It works perfectly to send messages to individuals as well as groups. The sidebar menu has an easy-to-read layout and is very easy to navigate. I can quickly glance and select which tab I need from the compose tab, the messenger tab, and more. I can quickly assign chats to other users to help keep them organized as well as pin top conversations, and filter by a number of parameters. Unread messages are designated with a red icon which helps me notice them quickly to reduce my customer response time.

Cons

I don't like that's not available everywhere geographically in the US; it seems their service area may be limited to large cities or certain areas.

The learning curve was so high, I felt like I was wasting more time to find my way around the platform than I did with my outreach and responses. I have been using Textmagic for 5+ years now. Most other services I have used will start increasing their prices to where it is no longer worth it, or begin to have bugs or issues. Textmagic has always stayed true, and I really appreciate that. I am able to reach out to my clients and contact new leads with ease.

Pros

I like the pay as you go feature, the ease of use, the process to get approved was easy and straight forward. The tasks feature is very helpful, as well as list building and contact crm. I am very excited for the new features that are being released as well.

Cons

I wish there were more integrations with other CRM and business software. I know there are some on Make.com, but I have just had some trouble creating automations.

Pros

Textmagic makes communication with our clients so easy. Sometimes our neighbors prefer text communication over email or phone calls. We can quickly log in and send them messages including hyperlinks to resources. Our organization also uses Textmagic for an occasional "mass blast" of information, usually when an event is canceled due to weather.

Cons

It's not necessarily a 'con' but when typing a message it shows how many 'parts' it's using. Clear information about what exactly this means, if it affects cost, and how it would appear on a client's phone would be helpful.

Good! I've recommended it several times to other departments/agencies.

Pros

Versatility, affordability, fully-loaded options

Cons

Difficulty in setting up as a new user, clunky process for adding new contacts \[PS - we are switching to a new EHR (electronic health records service) with CaseWorthy. They allow for texting through the case management platform we use to keep records on our students/follow up/appointment reminder etc. They integrate with Twilio/Vonage but said they may be able to add TextMagic. Hoping this goes well!\]

My overall experience with Textmagic is positive. It's easy to use and effective for sending messages to our clients. It has helped our clients with communicating with us.

Pros

How convenient it is for our clients. Typically our clients prefer texting over emailing or calling. I also enjoy how user-friendly it is. You don't need instructions for using it; its interface is pretty self-explanatory. I also enjoy that our admin can have their own profile, which makes it easier to see who exactly texted our client.

Cons

It doesn't stay current. Our business needs a page to be as current as possible in regard to communication with our clients. I often find myself refreshing the page to find the message I know we received (Textmagic sends an email when someone texts). Another thing we dislike about Textmagic is if you send a scheduled message to a non-contact, it doesn't show in the main screen chats. You have to try those messages in "All Chats," but they sometimes aren't in there. You have to go to "History" to find those messages, which can be confusing. I do wish the interface would put all chats as the "home screen".

We’d also like to clarify that the Compose page is primarily intended for bulk messaging, while Messenger is designed for one-to-one conversations. When messages are sent via Compose, a chat will only appear or reopen after a reply is received. If you prefer to keep conversations visible in a chat format, we recommend sending messages directly from Messenger rather than the Compose page.

Pros

Easy to set up, easy to use. I chose the pay as you go option as we do not do much marketing.

Cons

Not found anything not to like with the features but the cost to have it personalised for a small organisation and infrequent user is high to sustain on a monthly basis, would suggest a cost for as and when usage.

Excellent. Easy to use and super convenient way to communicate with all staff, when needed.

Pros

User-friendly. We don't have a need to use Textmagic too often so it's nice to be able to pick it up and easily set up our messages to send. Being able to set up different groups - we can sort our staff by site for messaging.

Cons

Can't say there is anything I like least. I did have a problem getting a message to send but found out it was due to a setting on my phone.

Given my personal experience with textmagic, I have come across a lot of error and sometimes it is near unusable despite the pros. I would look into other options before PAYING for the service, as of right now it still feels in development and seems more like a free site with bugs than a paid one.

Pros

once you get into it, textmagic is pretty intuitive to use. the text scheduling, two way messaging, and mass text functions are extremely useful, especially if you are a busy person.

Cons

I feel almost as if they are still developing the entire site, messages get lost or delivered wrong. my interface with show messages in the wrong order. Sometimes the site just wont even let me in because the "checking if you are a human" or two factor authentication wont load.

Safe Family Defense LLC has been using Textmagic for years to send important texts to small groups of clients pre and post events they have enrolled in. It has fantastic for this purpose. We especially like the ability Textmagic gives to include attachments by way of a link for the client to use to access the file. I have been considerably impressed with the level of customer service I have received from Textmagic. Lastly, I do have to mention, the new interface is wonderful and appears well thought out.

Pros

Textmagic has been integral in communicating important information to our clients. It allows us to send out reminders, information, review requests, and pictures to our clients following a training session. The cut and paste feature for numbers we are sending to is priceless. The customer service I receive from Textmagic is excellent.

Cons

We are thinking about starting to use Textmagic for SMS marketing to large lists of clients; however, we are struggling with the cost structure Textmagic has in place. At this point, it is looking like Textmagic is going to be a bit to pricey for us to use them at this point for this purpose. There are competitors out there charging less for a comparable product in this capacity.

It has been a real help to us when communicating with staff across a wide geographic area. You can check the history to see if anyone did not get the message and follow that up if needed.

Pros

It is easy to import contact data and set up distribution lists so that messages can be delivered consistently and very quickly.

Cons

There are no cons that I can think of! I have enjoyed using Text Magic

For something I am obligated to use daily, it makes my job harder. And this is just to send text messages, forget trying to do anything more complex like sending a picture. Here's one of long list of things: If I send a group text, let me send another message to that same group or make it editable if I have to add/delete someone with a single-click process.

Pros

It performs its basic functions somewhat properly.

Cons

How does a site primarily functioning as a text messaging service crash and glitch regularly? This site's interface is clumsy and dated. I suggest using other apps and compare it to yours.
