May 19, 2020 5.0 I’ll be honest, I’m kinda cheap, I’ve been in construction for 40 years and I’ve used dozens of accounting software products. They all left me short on one aspect or another, poor invoicing, no quotes, double entry madness. does it all with very little effort on my part. Transactions are pulled right out of my bank automatically. Only thing I have to do is categorize my expenses. Zarmoney uses AI to pick up on repeated transactions and gets the category right. Customer service with these guys should be renamed to concierge, called me twice to make sure I understood what services they offer. I don’t get buried with nonsense emails or useless ads. I can’t express enough how happy I am with Zarmoney. Try it you will like it. Pros I think the ease of set up, integrated logo into all quotes, invoices. Easy to put footnotes on both quotes and invoices, . The chart of accounts couldn’t be easier. Bank set up was amazing and secure. I started a search for my next accounting software solution thinking there would be 4 or 5 choices. I was overwhelmed to see more than 30 products worth investigating. I was able to narrow that down to 5 fairly quickly, and Zarmoney was the least known name in that group. But it has proven to be the simplest and most efficient for me to set up and learn while on the go. I'm currently running Zarmoney side-by-side with my previous software, mainly to ensure a smooth transition over the course of the next 6 months. I expect to be running exclusively in Zarmoney later this year. Pros The customizable dashboard is easy to navigate and intuitive. There aren't hundreds (or even dozens) of options, and there's an ever-present search bar, so finding what you need without getting lost is a great feature. The simplicity is fantastic, especially when you realize that all of the features are useful. There's nothing in that isn't applicable to my daily activities. Many of the other software products I considered had superfluous or redundant features that only brought confusion into my transition. The data reports are ideal for daily reviews, and the editing capabilities are so easy to use for all types of documents and data entries. It will take more time before I have enough history to use some of the reports, but I can tell they will be helpful in managing my business. Finally, the ease of communication with vendors and customers within Zarmoney is exactly what I was hoping for. Cons So far, I'm noticing a few things that aren't ideal. With regard to importing and exporting data, the fields don't always populate if data is identical with entries above or below, so I'm having to double check things and manually key in certain important data points on occasion. And with regard to navigation, there's not a single click from the dashboard to add a customer or vendor, so it takes me 2 or 3 extra steps to initiate that process. Finally, I'd like to be able to backup the whole database on occasion, which I can do with my previous software. While there are files I can save via export within , I don't have the peace of mind that comes with having the entire company finances on a thumb drive in my pocket. Reason for choosing ZarMoney Simplicity was primary. Efficiency in terms of implementation, daily usage, and not getting bogged down with too many tools was next. And a close third was cost. is certainly and by far the least expensive option among those I considered.
