It's definitely the best mailing system I've tried so far, in terms of organization and flexibility. Pros The email structure is highly customizable. I also really appreciate being able to schedule emails and, above all, replicate them to different lists in just a few steps. Cons There aren't any negatives to report so far. I've always had a good experience. It took me a while to figure out how to upload my contacts, if we're really looking for a man's hair. The ease of use of the UI is also wonderful, and I enjoy the customization options. Cons I cannot think of anything that would be considered unlikeable about email octopus, to be honest. I can have an email ready to go out in just a few minutes. It's also easy to see my reports and see who has opened and clicked on our emails. Pros It's easy to use and right now, we have everything we need in the free version. Cons I haven't figured out yet how to manage my email subscribers efficiently. There's a few I would like to remove (obviously outside the US for a US company, haven't opened an email in years, etc). Last time I tried, it took longer than I wanted. Pros Even though it has been a stiff learning curve from my previous ESP (Madmimi), I've been able to quickly set everything up. The support has been top notch!! Honestly, the learning curve isn't because of anything on EmailOctopus's side but me having learned an entirely different and older system. The help articles and the chat feature has been nothing less than amazing. Another HUGE benefit and why I ultimately choose EmailOctopus was the price. For a small business owner in this economy, I needed to stay in a certain price range and EmailOctopus gives me everything I need (and what the more expensive sites offer) without the huge price tag. That's why I've already recommended the site!! Cons I've had to work through in my mind how to create the correct 'tags' and then learn to 'segment' my list. Once that was accomplished, learning to set up an automation took a bit but again, the help articles were there to help.
