So far I’ve been using email octopus which was recommended by carrd.co and it has been great. I haven’t had any issues with my emails except most times automated emails on Apple mail goes to junk folder

Pros

Easy template customization and Automation.

Cons

API Key being hidden. That’s the only problem I have because, most times I forget where it was saved and then have to create another key.

10/10 barrier to entry is low with a very straightforward UI.

Pros

Ease of access. I juggle 3 companies at once and EO helps easily navigate different campaigns!

Cons

One con is Embedded Videos. I'd love to see this option revamped down the road. Also, I wish there was a support line even if I have to pay for a tiered service the option would be nice.

### "Top quality & easy to use"

Pros

It's a very solid product - good deliverability, excellent onboarding and support and a very generous free tier. I find it very reliable and trust that my emails are reaching inboxes. I much prefer it to Mailchimp.

Cons

The editor is a bit tedious. I need to change text & links from the template default every time. Also it does not automatically integrate with as much third party stuff. Zapier can make most integrations happen but I haven't got into it.

I'm really happy with my account in Octopus, way better than my last email marketing platform. So simple to use and friendly.

Pros

Easy and super friendly platform, they send regular emails with tips on how to improve your messages, I found this very helpful. I recommend Octopus with eyes closed.

Cons

Maybe help bubbles with the best way to editing messages. And a easy way to bulk erase emails, sometimes bot attacks and stored useless emails.

Pros

I love that it is super easy to use, I can create professional-looking emails with little to no training, and I can create automations to send emails without me manually having to do so.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind, there are a couple of things that are quirky, but just takes a little getting used to, but nothing stands out.

Fantastic. Easy to set up and get going, and any issues or queries I had were responded to promptly by helpful, friendly customer service representatives. Overall, I absolutely love using EmailOctopus and highly recommend them.

Pros

Easy to use, uncluttered user interface. All the features I need, great pricing plans, excellent customer service.

Cons

Honestly can't think of anything. I've used a lot of email service providers in the past, including all the 'big names', and EmailOctopus is my favourite by far. Absolutely love it.

Very easy to schedule and send emails, and a simple, user-friendly experience which I'd recommend to other organisations who use mailing lists.

Pros

It's user friendly, and it's free. I found out about EmailOctopus when Mailchimp started charging extortionate fees for having 1500+ subscribers. Email Octopus was a great alternative.

Cons

Some of the features are still a little basic, so I look forward to some new and improved design options in the future (fonts, shapes, etc)

Great for sending out monthly newsletters. Will continue using for the foreseeable future and may upgrade to Pro!

Pros

Very customizable without forcing me to do HTML. Gives me everything my previous newsletter platform (MadMimi) did and more. Lots included with the Free version that most competitors charge an arm and a leg for.

Cons

There are many pages to each process, and the automation process specifically is quite confusing. Help articles are good but some portions could be better labelled.

It integrates with Payhip. And it's easy to add a file with new subscribers from giveaways.

Very positive! I have been using them for two years now and could not be more pleased.

Pros

I love how responsive the team behind EO is, and I feel great knowing they give back to the environment. Plus, the interface is streamlined, the emails look good, and the system has never let me down.

Cons

There's some limited capability when it comes to including surveys, for example, but they're adding features all the time and I can always figure out how to do what I want (for example, just including a survey link).

Unlike its competitors, EmailOctopus has a free starter plan with generous subscriber and email limits. The pro plan is affordable once your list has grown.

Cons

The sign-up form options are a little too basic at the moment. There are no options to let your users select options from a drop-down or checkbox list.

Simple, easy to customise and send your email campaigns. Doesn't slow your website with a WordPress plugin. Probably the best-priced email platform you'll find online.

Pros

I like the simplicity of the platform. Easy to navigate and not complicated. It has a great pricing structure, the best I've found so far.

Cons

You have to enter your email each time you want to send a campaign. Free for up to 2500 subscribers which was great but now a competitor has 10000.

It's free for my needs, it was easy, and it has templates that were simple for me to figure out.

Cons

Making a template \*before\* starting a campaign almost hung me up, but now that I know, I know!

Beehiiv wouldn't import my list, I kept getting errors. And they didn't have much for email templates.

When it comes to the postal address – we understand this isn't ideal, but it's a requirement to stay compliant under anti-spam regulations. You can always use a business address or a PO box if you'd rather not include your home address.
