Pros

I love how it is so accessible as long as I have an internet connection ,it makes my work so much easier especially when I need to work from home.

Pros

We were using four separate systems and Alayacare allowed us to consolidate our needs into one. We now have one place for caregiver management, client management, , compliance, scheduling, matchmaking for scheduling, payroll, billing. The reporting functionality is lightyears ahead of what we had before and offers comprehensive reporting quickly.

Cons

Overtime calculations aren't automatic, compliance isn't a separate section and is built into the skills and qualifications section for employees, no push notifications for shift offerings.

Pros

Scheduling, billing uploads, functionality, single source for managing our business

Cons

Not as intuitive as other software, most reports are not customizable and won't allow us to indentify our business

We're a non medical community supports program Most other sites were completely designed for Group Homes or in home nursing. We felt it best fit our business model .

I have worked in all areas --As I am at the Corp level I process and work closely with the billing and we need good reports--to handle our monthly sales and deposits as well as billing to some funders

Pros

Scheduling is great--Good system for Caregivers Dashboard good

Cons

Reports are not good Day delay not good Posting payments and contra---not good -very time consuming Reports make it hard to balance monthly sales and posting

Cons

The downside to this software being web based, if there's an issue with the web, there can be a lag, but this is very rare!

AlayaCare helped us streamline our scheduling, introduce time and attendance, access medical records in real time and saved us money in both peoplepower and paper costs.

Pros

AlayaCare is miles ahead of its competition with user-friendly software that includes learn-as-you-go tutorials. Access to schedules and medical records in real time is a game-changer for home care.

Cons

Nothing... this software is by far the best on the market for home care.

Terrible.

Pros

That it works sometimes. Little things work - like being able to enter demographics. But other than that, its barely functional.

Cons

There are no hard stops in the system to prevent issues such as fraud. EVV Doesnt work. Data expoting doesnt work. Helpdesk tickets take months to be resolved. Billing doesnt work. Payroll is cumbersome and requires a lot of manual manipulation after exporting. The ongoing saying in our office is if its not one thing wrong with alayacare, its something else.

It was a new product, so I appreciated the ambition and excitement of the developers

Cons

The product launched too early and there were too many complications and task duplication within the software- so not very intuitive or user friendly, way too complicated in areas it shouldn't have been

It has the potential to be user friendly in a lot of areas.

Cons

In some areas it has caused us more work compared to our last software system. We are still not able to use invoices that fit a standard envelope even though we have asked about solutions many times.

Previous bad experience with Clear care and we were lead to believe that it would help us save time and energy.

As a user, I found the experience relatively non complicated.

Pros

I found it has different features than the system we were using Carelink. But some of them are definitely an improvement but Carelink had other features that are not on Alyacare. I think the rostering is most definitely an improvement.

Cons

The report running is quite difficult for staff that are not tech savvy..

The experience so far has been very disappointing. Ive used a lot of software and this one is by far the worst experience. Its also quite clear this was not meant for nursing use and geared to psw use. Not sure why the company would purchase this.

Pros

I like that it can take the hpg updates and automatically update the clients profile

Cons

\- documents are hidden in a file in a folder in sub folder in a tab in a module, its not efficient -its not a stable platform and it does not act predictably - ie changes don't stick, things don't load -the training was TERRIBLE -patient information is not easily accessible -there is a lack of meaningful reports. ie who is working today -the filters don't stick, why do I have to keep telling it I don't want to see things outside my area? This is going to get worse and worse as other areas of cbi migrate over

Easy to use it is very user friendly our coordinators learned scheduling system quick!

Not live totals in report . . .takes 24hrs - but Alaya is working on this

It is a real time saver!

Pros

It is a good product. A lot of steps to do some of the simplest things, a learning curve thats for sure. But end result is very good.

Cons

The buttons need to stand out more. Colors are very flat and undistinguishable.

Pros

Allows my team to spend more time caring less time on paperwork, ensures communication sharing of clients needs and likes which allows us to make their lives better! Simple work flows, Easy of use, customer support, proactive team always looking to improve and eclipsed product.

Cons

Not much - maybe the colour? We are all about PINK so orange kind of clashes

We were on paper system with mailing in of client visit forms so to have it electronically has been beneficial with a time stamp/date of the visit. We have not been on the system long enough yet to have all the bugs worked out and the caregivers fully engaged so hard to tell how it has solved a lot of things yet. Again, the biggest issue for us is the reporting. We are also experiencing issues with the mobile app in offline mode with clients not found or visits not found. Tickets in Zendesk regarding this are still trying to be resolved.

Pros

Being able to capture client visits electronically and have the time stamped verification.

Cons

Much improvement needs to be done on Data Exploration. The turnaround time to get reports of a one day delay, in this day and age of technology, just doesn't work for businesses.
