The pricing is good; it blows my mind that competitors try to charge hundreds or thousands of dollars for similar services. Installation on our multi-subdomain site was quick and easy. Plenty of customization options if you're willing to spend the time. Cons UX is clunky and outdated, but it works. Customization of most things is possible but time-consuming. The plugin architecture doesn't make sense to me - as opposed to most sites where you just enable a feature you need to actually "install" them first with this. Tracking high volume events like clicks or free signups crowds their filter views and the data isn't displayed well (but you can export it easily). I studied a lot and tried others before settling on PAP in the end. I used leaddyno and tried idevaffiliate. Both of those were not as good as PAP. PAP is super function rich. It is hands down the best affiliate software on the market. Yoiu can do anything you want in it. Do tiers, MLM, make offline coupons, you name it. Leaddyno is bad. It has very few functions and they want to charge you an arm for everything. The issue with idevaffiliate was their customer service. They are very short. they have no interest in going the extra mile. They are only asking you to submit a ticket and wait some days for some vague response. This is true. But, PAP you can pop on and ask their sales reps any question, virtually any time, and get an answer right away. I am seriously very happy with PAP and I think that people should try it. There is some learning curve to using it , but thats normal. I guess if there is one thing I can urge PAP to do is just to keep working on the look and feel. I have been impressed by the accurate tracking and fast payouts, but I have been frustrated by the occasional customer support delays, as well as the cost. Pros The user interface is incredibly easy to use and intuitive, and yet it offers powerful reporting and analytics which help in both the tracking and optimization of affiliates. The payouts are also extremely accurate and timely. Cons Post Affiliate Pro unfortunately does have a few issues. It can be rather expensive compared to some of the other options on the market, the customer support is not always immediate, and the learning curve for new users can be rather steep. Owner Retail Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Useful if you're starting from scratch" August 7, 2018 3.0 If you are starting an affiliate program from scratch, then this software will likely work reasonably well for you. However, if you have a large affiliate program with many affiliates, promotions, coupons and lifetime referral data, be prepared for a hassle. Migration of your data is going to be slow and painful at times. Much of which could be solved by a more robust import tool and better documentation. I spent weeks with support, submitting numerous tickets trying to figure out how to migrate our data and setup an affiliate promotion similar to what we had in our old system. Pros It has many features and you'll likely be able to setup a commission structure that works for you and your business. Cons 1\. Basic importing is a real hassle with this software. Import functionality needs a complete overhaul. Basic coupon importing that consists of a two column spreadsheet cannot be imported without custom PHP coding and use of the API. Why this functionality is omitted from import is beyond me. 2. Documentation is outdated and could be expanded. I found numerous inconsistencies or missing information which required several support tickets to clear up. 3. Support is hit and miss. Sometimes they can go above an beyond, other times they simply say "sorry the software can't do that". Providing constructive criticism about the software and what needs to be improved seem to fall on deaf ears. 4. They allow you to add something like 20 custom fields, but getting the data in/out via the API or through extensions can be difficult because they only allow up to 5 fields. Why offer the ability to have 20 custom fields but only give users the ability to access 5 of them is beyond me. I should be able to access all the data at any point. Review Source KK Kelvin K. Cons Like any other product of this heft, the learning curve could be a bit intimidating. It took a while for me to fully grasp the full functionality. This initial challenge was made much easier with the stellar customer support that always seems to be there when needed. Also we used the software for more than 100 affiliates and never had any issues. All sales were tracked just the way it's supposed to be. Really really bad. You may not believe me. You may think I'm a competitor, but having read this once you go in and try and do anything during your trial, you will see I'm right. Otherwise you might think it was user error. Or your fault. Nope. It is their horrible software. Pros They do have a good online chat service. This is necessary because the software is so horrible you will need help each time you open it. Cons This is the worst. Horribly frustrating to use. Horrible user interface. I have to relearn it each time. So many compartmentalized parts of the website. Adding an affiliate and their corresponding code is a nightmare. Once a default code was applied to a new affiliate. I didn't do this. The affiliate demanded $4,000 even though they did no sales. Then I wrote them telling them I would be switching soon. I did NOT ask them to close the account. They unilaterally closed the account. Very frustrating. Would never recommend except to my worse competitor. Just so so so bad. Also doesn't have basic automatic monthly payments to affiliates. I was constantly having to track and hunt down orders that didn’t attach to the correct affiliate. This rarely happens now. Maybe 1-2 times a year. Pros It’s easy to use. There’s several filters for reports. Payments to affiliates are a breeze. Cons I would like to be able to set goals. For example, if the leader of a large team of affiliates doesn’t reach a sales goal, they won’t get commissions from their teams sales. They have to reach the goal first. January 17, 2016 5.0 I have been working with PAP since 2004, and know all its ins and outs. PAP kept improving during the years and is in my opinion still the best affiliate program. I tested and used many affiliate program scripts; the good, the bad and the ugly ones. However, PAP has always been my first choice. For both small and big set-ups, PAP is the best one. One of the strong points of PAP is the actual team behind it. There is a saying: Walk ing the extra mile. Well, the support team of QualityUnit walks an extra 1.000 miles to help you. Many of my improvement ideas and new feature requests where implemented over the years; the PAP team actually listens to loyal customers who use their script every day.
