It is seamless and easy to use. There are a lot of options to really make it easy for clients also. The customization options are very professional.

Pros

I’ve been using MassageBook for over a decade and absolutely love it. My clients are always telling me how easy it is to book and rebook. One of the things that is unique with them is the great customer service. I usually resolve issues within a day. They have a great system. Between the automated help and the REAL person help I’m always able to get things figured out.

Cons

The general MassageBook gift certificate system makes you sign up for STRIPE to get paid from those purchases. I use Square for my direct gift certificates and service payments and wish I could use that instead.

I have been with them through the original owners and it has only grown for the better. Customer service and the people who assist are patient, knowledgeable and always willing to help!

Pros

This application has grown and continues to improve and upgrade. It is refreshing to always get a friendly and helpful customer service rep.

Cons

I wish it had a few more bells and whistles but honestly, for the cost it is well worth it! The time difference sometimes gets me also!

I initially found the interface to be clunky and even occasionally redundant for some of the set up steps. Also when making changes to how I ran my practice. I had to have 3 different, information repeated "profile / locations tabs" for the three types of service I provided. (Out-calls, Main office, and Events) and it didn't transfer the contact or other information between them. This was extremely frustrating. - Although that may have improved in the 5 or 6 years since I last used it. Additionally: I had a point between office locations where I was only providing out calls, and had to delete the other two profile options because there was no option to toggle them off or on.

Pros

I love Abmp, and have used Massage Book a couple times in my 17 year career. I believe it was one of the first platforms designed specifically for massage therapists. I like the way some of the options and features have evolved over time, and the national listing for bodywork professionals. I have had a few people find me through massage book when visiting the area, to request an appointment.

Cons

Major physical safety issue! The software required my physical address even when only doing out-calls. There was a statement saying that would not be visable to clients. I came Home one evening in 2018 to a stranger sitting in his car in my driveway, claiming we had an appointment! We were furious. What if I had lived alone!? When I contacted MB they assured me that wasn't possible. They were clearly wrong and didn't even know how their own software did and did not work. I deleted my entire account.

Very good. For a few questions I have had, I have been able to get answers for some from the AI help section (remarkably good in a field of horrible AI help systems out there). For two others, I was able to quickly get in touch with a support staff person, and get my issues resolved right away. The support agents were very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and effective.

Pros

The interface is clean and well-organized, very simple and intuitive. We were able to integrate quickly into our website and use within the same day. We have already some clients book on their own, and pre-pay even.

Cons

I would like to have an option to select a default view (among Rooms view, Staff view, Day, Week, Month) and would like to be able to enter notes in free sections. I have not double-checked on whether the latter is possible.

Pros

I love that Massagebook seems to be growing along with my business. They are always adjusting things to be better. I’m grateful to have found Massagebook. I’m going on 6 years with the company!

Cons

Really no major issues. They are always finding ways to improve. They have always been quick about answering any of my concerns.

Great! Most staff find it easy to use. Some clients have trouble booking online the first time but usually get it the second time around

Pros

Live chat help when needed, great follow up when live chat is not available. Ease of use for practitioners.

Cons

I would really prefer a "discount code" option to give clients so they can check out with a discount. The need to create a new promotion link for each discount is cumbersome.

Overall it has been excellent! I was really impressed with the 1 to 1 video call that was including in my plan so I could actually speak to a human face to gace as ask all the newby questions I could.

Pros

The tutorials and excellant prompt & effective customer service. The site once you familiarize yourself with it is pretty easy to navigate.

Cons

I wish there was a discount code feature other than the gift certificates. Sometimes I like to give a discount code to certain groups that book with me. For example, the dojo I train at, I would lkke to have a discount code specifically for enrolled members of that particular dojo to use when booking with my business.

Overall, as a new business I would recommend MassageBook to anyone getting started. This is the only booking platform I have used as a new business. It is likely I will continue use with MassageBook!

Pros

For less then $40 a month (with AMTA membership) I have a an app for quick access to the schedule and client information, a customizable website, customizable email blasts, customizable forms for intake and SOAP notes, and ease of scheduling clients. Clients can also schedule via my website and reach out directly to me here with questions or concerns. When it comes time for employees, I can also expand my business and add people to the provider list, detail their access to certain services and customize their schedule with ease. Furthermore, the customer service I experienced was the best of the best.

Cons

Most things are done the best via a laptop or iPad type device. I ran into some difficulties trying to do everything via the phone and with the scheduling app.

There isn’t anything I dislike. I mean, I’m not fond of their online credit card rate but they are probably below everyone else.

Wonderful site and very easy to navigate. Excellent support team that makes me happy to support them.

Pros

Their support team is the best in the ANY industry!

Cons

Currently, you can not adjust how the memberships are displayed for your customers on the platform... it's displayed in the chronological order of when they were made. I would have to totally delete them all and then repost them in the order that I want them displayed. I hope this issue is resolved soon to help best display the memberships that are more popular at the top of the page.

I appreciate the way their customer service representatives have helped me set up my account, and then have been there when I need to learn how to do things like get files into a PDF format for insurance companies, etc. They also offer suggestions of how to do marketing that have been very helpful.

Pros

I have been using MassageBook for several years, although I only upgraded to the Pro version about 18 months ago, and the extra services included in the Pro version makes it is well-worth the expense! Plus, the customer service is top-class. Everyone is always friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, and I always feel like I'm a valued client. I highly recommend it!

Cons

I've been using MassageBook since it first came out, upgrading to the Pro version as my practice grew. I don't really have anything I don't like about MassageBook.

Pros

Pros

Customers find it easy to use. They are very knowledgeable when you have issues so you can do your job. Love that they have Soap notes in the app as well as on the web.

I would like to have the confirmation of appointments more obvious to the client before they log off.

Overall, excellent. Always kind and will work with you for as long as it takes to fix an issue, with patience and kindness so that you understand the why's, what's and how's of any issue you may have.

Pros

\- easy layout and easier to use than most. - excellent customer service w a person by text or phone (and with phone a call back feather so your not stuck on the phone until someone's available) - friendly people, never loose their patience.

Cons

Some things are a little confusing eg; setting up alternating days open on a weekend - one week Sat work hrs and Sun off and the next weekend reversed. But they're customer service is always willing to help you to understand and complete what you need to get done. Not sure how big a problem it is as I'm know for 'thinking' in an unconventional way (get to the same solution just by a different route LOL).

I had a support call yesterday that was a game changer. Step by step instructions for any question I had (big or small) all served up with a friendly tone of voice. It's like he had the Massage Book manual memorized.

Pros

Friendly, knowledgeable support. Custom design tools for booking and website features. The free trial is a really nice feature; you pick the package you want from the most basic to top tier and you get to try it for free for a month.

Cons

I would say that getting to know the program is overwhelming at first especially if you don't have much design experience, but the tech/support is flawless. So while I was feeling overwhelmed at first, I just made a phone call and \[sensitive content hidden\] walked me through every question I had and even told me to call back if I had any more.

I have been very pleased overall. Massagebook is user friendly. The support is amazing! They are always making improvements and upgrades based on what, we, the therapists recommend. I am an instructor at a massage school. I have a blind student and massagebook has been wonderful working with him and making sure the interface works for him.

Pros

Its super easy and I am absolutely tech impaired! Customer support is always so helpful and kind walking me through the most basic things.

Cons

The confirmation system. While confirmation emails and texts do get sent to the clients , the therapist does not receive the feedback so I have no record of confirmation.

I explored it for a few days, and I know that a lot of my fellow Massage Therapist do prefer MassageBook. It's definitely a great program and easy to use. Possibly since MassageBook is dedicated solely to Massage it still does what is needed for booking and managing clients. It just in general was not my first choice.

Pros

The layout is very streamlined. MassageBook has all the necessary features for booking clients and is user friendly,

Cons

For me MassageBook is nice, but still was a close second to PocketSuite. It didn't have quite as many features that I found very useful on PocketSuite.

Great customer service,and more features than I anticipated. I was excited there were options to send intake forms and receipts. There is a lot of thought put into this.

Pros

Customer service is quick to respond with detailed suggestions. I made some mistakes trying to check out a ticket, but a silution was provided in a timely manner.

Cons

I am not the most tech savvy person, so figuring out how everything worked took me some time. I am learning as I go.

Pros

MassageBook is user friendly and whenever I have a question or concern their support staff are able to help me right away. I have been using their software for 9 years.

Cons

It’s frustrating that it closes so quickly if unattended for a couple of. Minutes when trying to input a note but I believe this is due to HIPA regulations
