Pros SignRequest is very easy to set up and easy to use and the free version offers a ton of functionality. I like that I can see when a recipient has opened or viewed my document and can send reminders. Overall it's amazing. Cons Sometimes it crashes, and you are not able to access your documents or even send some for signing. This can sometimes take upwards of 3 hours. But we found em, liked em, and have used them for nearly 3 years now. Pros easy to use, cheap to get, same day use, automatic follow-up and email confirmations to me directly upon completion of a document signature Cons tech support is non-existent, occasional bugs where some documents won't work, and the search function for finding old signed documents doesn't work very well. We usually download our documents after each signature to send to our carrier and put in our digital document system, so its not a big problem. I would recommend this product to other businesses. Pros The software is simple to use. The system is set up and is extremely user friendly. The annual cost is mid range & not overly expensive. I would choose this product over others that are in the market. We used another product for many years and we were glad to find SignRequest as an option. Cons The only thing I do not like is you cannot cut and paste an address in the address box. Reason for choosing SignRequest The service tech was helpful, he gave us all the info we needed. He guaranteed us that they would not up our rate per contract etc. Switched from [Docusign](https://www.capterra.com/p/121506/Docusign/) The customer service was not great and they kept raising the rate for us. We changed plans several times and they kept getting more and more expensive. Then wanted us on a corporate program which was ridiculous. I think if we had more employees we might need something else, but for small organizations it works great. Pros I love how easy it is to use and the price point on it is quite good. It has everything I need to utilize online signing functions. When working by myself, it works smoothly without interruption. Cons This doesn't really work well when I am trying to sync with multiple users in my organization. This seems more useful for me to use personally rather than in a team. Pros SignRequest has been great for our company as you can get 10 signatures a month for free, and then pay one of the most reasonable prices for a monthly subscription as needed. We have many months where just a few signatures are needed. Then, when we have a month where more signatures are required, we just upgrade for under $10. It’s a great low-risk tool for businesses needing occasional signatures. Cons While the software is quite easy to learn, there are still some slightly awkward formatting issues with placing text - for me this has been specifically with multiple-line addresses. As you work with the tool you learn how to manage this, but I have had some misplaced text that looks a bit awkward. Before we used SignRequest, we had to bring paper versions to sign at the spot or we received via email bad scans of signed agreements / documents. Now, it helps us in the workload and it looks very professionally! Cons Sometimes, when more people need to sign a document, the signature blocks are placed in the wrong places. Then we have to correct it on all pages. For us it would be better if we get the request to add a document BEFORE the send button. Pros It can be signed by everyone without the need of registering to the platform or having an account. Works great from the phone, so I think it is the easiest tool for the parties that have to sign up. You can have more than 50 templates with the cheapest plan. Cons Sometimes, there are some minor bugs in the UI, and you have to create a template for each document to avoid them. But in general works great. Reason for choosing SignRequest It is the lowest price I could find for a trusty tool that has minimal friction to sign for the other party and you can use a lot of templates. Cons My contracts have a few base layouts, but the recipient(s) is (are) different. It seems that i have to adjust every contract everytime. I'd love to see some algorythm that can recognize where hotspots should be placed. Their customer service team is great and responsive Pros \- Simple and straightforward to use - Best price & value - Great premium features - love that it connects with Zapier smoothly It's got just enough features to make work a lot easier, but doesn't go overboard or make a big deal out of those features. Cons A colleague of mine had trouble figuring out how to sign something on his end, because he didn't see the other required fields - this was on a mobile browser - honestly, it's probably due to his incompitence and stubbornness on making everything more difficult - if it were any simpler, he still wouldn't have gotten it right. That's the only issue I've had with SIgnRequest - oh, and there's no notification to other signees on what happens next, though they do get a copy once it's signed - if other parties take days to sign, the first few signees will be unsure if it went through or not or how to get a copy.
