Cons User setup can be confusing when onboarding new employees into the software. There are so many custom items a user can have access to it can be difficult to identify the correct options. We enjoyed the modern look compared to other solutions. November 20, 2024 2.0 The layout for the new Resolver is more intuitive than the old Perspective system, while maintaining enough similarities that learning the new system is manageable. Perspective froze, crashed and malfunctioned frequently. So far Resolver has been more stable. The loss of shortcut keys is a major inconvenience, and I really hope this feature is reintroduced in future updates. I would really like to see Resolver as a standalone program rather than a browser-based program. It would be more convenient to launch and easier to find in the taskbar when I have multiple windows open. It also wouldn't get buried amongst other browser tabs. Pros Shortcut keys (Ctrl+N to start navigation mode, Ctrl+S to start dispatch log etc.) made usage much faster, which matters a lot when busy. (this function has been removed in the current version, which is awful) Templates are super useful to prompt for relevant information and maintain consistency. Cons The removal of shortcut keys! Having to use the mouse constantly drastically slows down usage. Also, having to open the dispatch log via the browser is annoying. Every other program I use can be added to startup so it opens when I boot up the computer. this is the only program I have to open manually. Review Source PR Percy R. New users doesn't feel difficulty understanding things. I felt few unnecessary risks but it also gave me idea of what I might be facing so overall it was good and I learned alot with help of Resolver. Pros Time efficient. Doesn't take unnecessary time to load information. Application usage is also smooth. Cons Sometimes it seems the risks that are analysed are really not necessary and can be very small risk. February 7, 2025 5.0 It was so easy. I supplied some basic information, and they did all the work. Pros I actually used Resolver when the Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) claims came to light. There were people having refunds of thousands. This was the case if you had lots of loans. I had a small buy-now-pay-later over a 4-year period and a further similar product, but both, so small that I thought a claim would be insignificant. The claim window was about to end for everyone so I sent a few details into Resolver (recommended by Money Saving Expert website). They did all the work for free, and paid me £400 in total! Pros I like the CAD and Incident Reporting features of Resolver. In addition, it easy to use and train personnel software. Customer support is excellent. Very happy with product. Cons To print sizing issues. Word overlap if computer screen is not set properly. Only way to resolve this issue is to change screen settings on computer. Pros High configurability with deep dive analysis capabilities that connect risk controls to one another across varying categories. Helps bring attention to threats, risks, and vulnerabilities that we would otherwise not have considered as significant. Cons We advocate strongly for heat map visualizations when reporting the assessments to our leadership teams for review and decision making. The reports in Resolver are PDF, Word, or Excel only and are considerably the weakest areas of the tool as there is little to no configurability in how these reports depict the information, which isn't great. We can also monitor how every audit transitions through the workflow to identify bottlenecks in our process. Pros GRC Cloud greatly increases the efficiency of our audit department. It handles everything you need for an audit function, including risk assessments, electronic workpapers, audit report generation, review and approval workflows, etc. Cons We have a large library of auditable entities, which limits our ability to run some reports at the company level and results in occasional latency. Cons The build for templates should be more of a working session with Resolver during the initial build to streamline the use of them based off user groups. The initial build a ton of templates were built and we don't use a lot of them now. Reason for choosing Resolver The UI was the big WIN for resolver.
