### "Please small business owner"

January 8, 2026

5.0

The overall experience with has been one of quality. Beyond the ease of use along with the benefits of the tool, the support available (knowledge base as well as live person contacts) has been top notch. There have been no questions left unanswered.

Pros

We are a smaller business that does not have an IT tech on staff. So, we needed a solution for our employees that would allow us to increase our digital security but be able to deploy it with an everyday tech expertise level. was that solution and it has worked seamlessly. The comprehensive solution allows for more than secure password storage. It also makes improving our digital security intuitive with features like password health scores for users as well as at the admin level. It also provides useful auto-fill tools for payment methods, accounts and addresses that might otherwise be stored on user devices. There is no question Dashlane for Business very helpful to our business, increases our piece of mind in a cyber-hostile world, and does this at reasonable price point.

Cons

That we didn't start using it sooner. Not sure why we thought integrating a solution into our business would be hard. Fear of the unknown definitely kept us from moving sooner. We regret that. It was not hard.

### "Secure, Efficient, and Easy to Manage for Teams"

April 13, 2026

5.0

I have been using and am very satisfied with it. It makes password management simple, secure, and convenient for the whole team, while also reducing the risks that come with weak or reused passwords. I especially value how easy it is to share access safely, manage credentials centrally, and improve overall security without creating extra work for employees. It is a reliable solution that combines strong protection with a user-friendly experience.

Pros

offers excellent security features, including secure password storage, sharing, and monitoring, which help teams stay protected and organized. The interface is intuitive, so employees can adopt it quickly without much training, and the centralized admin controls make it easy to manage access across the company. It also saves time by helping users generate strong passwords and log in more efficiently across different tools and platforms.

Cons

One possible drawback is that advanced features and business-level management may require some initial setup and adjustment, especially in larger organizations. The pricing can also feel high for smaller teams compared to simpler alternatives. Still, for companies that prioritize security, convenience, and centralized control, these limitations are often outweighed by the overall value it provides.

### "It functions but lacks some features that would make it more user friendly"

January 20, 2026

2.0

meh. it's ok. would be better with a desktop app and without forced interaction with the extension. but it saves passwords and allows you to share them and create different groups and decide which groups have access to which passwords

Pros

password generator (although I wish I didn't have to use the extension to access it) and ability to save passwords and share with my team

Cons

lack of desktop app, annoying extension that i always turn off, lack of ability to remove seats before the annual renewal, and no ability for passwords to be owned by the company or the team rather than the individual creator

### "Best Value Password Manager Vendor"

January 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, the experience has been excellent. Customer support is very attentive and always provides our team with fast solutions to any issues we encounter, user management is simple and intuitive, and their automated deployment options freed up a significant amount of time for our analyst team.

Pros

The value for money is my favorite thing about . The features they offer are easy for end users to adopt and provide our team with valuable insights regarding password hygiene and usage.

Cons

The thing I like the least about Dashlane is migrating shared or group passwords on and off of the platform. This speaks less to the service that Dashlane provides and more to limitations of password managers in general.

### "Great product for small business and family"

January 12, 2026

5.0

We have implimented in our small company about 3 years ago. Dashlane has evolved over that time. I

Pros

I love that all my usernames, passwords and notes are shared across all my devices including ios etc. when a pasword has been updated using one device it is immediately updated across all platforms.I love the password generator.

Cons

I know this is hard to believe, but I dont have any bad experiences with Dashlane. I guess the cost is not as cheap as I'd like, but the cost is well worth it.

### "Strengthening Security and Streamlining Access with Dashlane"

January 26, 2026

5.0

Overall, Mentis’ experience using has been positive and impactful. The platform has strengthened our security practices by protecting sensitive credentials while simplifying access for staff through secure autofill and password sharing. Dashlane has also helped reduce password-related issues and administrative burden, allowing our team to focus more on mission-driven work rather than technical challenges. While there is a brief learning curve, the benefits to security, efficiency, and organizational control make Dashlane a valuable tool for Mentis.

Pros

has been a reliable and user-friendly tool for managing passwords securely across our organization. It simplifies access with autofill and secure sharing while giving administrators strong oversight and control. Overall, it has improved security, reduced password-related issues, and made day-to-day workflows more efficient for our team.

Cons

While is a strong security tool, there can be a learning curve for new users who are not familiar with password managers. Occasional browser extension issues or login prompts can disrupt workflow, and account recovery often requires IT involvement, which can be frustrating for users if access is lost. Additionally, some advanced features may feel underutilized for smaller teams.

### "Transition to Dashlane"

January 6, 2026

4.0

It has been a good transition from Last Pas. I am overall pleased with the ability of our team to use the product.

Pros

Dashboard is easy to use. Has been helpful in password changes. It is also easy to share passwords with the team making it seamless for us.

Cons

Having to remember to share the password or link with the team you set up. It would be way easier if it was auto shared when you entered it into the company account.

### "Safe and helpful!"

January 27, 2026

5.0

Our Overall experience with is that it is a great addition to our business for keeping things safe and organized.

Pros

What we like most about Dashlane is that it keeps everyone on the same page. We need information to be secure, and this absolutely does that!

Cons

The thing we like the least about is how often we need to sign in, especially for our admin page. I am ok with my employees having to type the password in often in case we have a turnaround.

### "Password Management and Safety"

January 7, 2026

5.0

My overall experience is very positive. I like having the safety of the passwords and being able to allow my IT guy access to things when he needs them. Overall a very well run program.

Pros

It allows me to login to all my many different accounts safely and easily for both home and business. It also allows me to see work items away from the office. So convenient and safe.

Cons

The pop up browser sometimes gets in the way of certain windows. It makes it hard to fill in dates as it always want to autofill for you.

Pros

### "Dashlane is fine. "

January 27, 2026

4.0

It's fine - I haven't needed to contact support as a user so I'm unsure of how the support servies are. As someone who previously used Last Pass, I find Dashlane similar in terms of use, but perhaps a bit less intuitive.

Pros

We got our whole team to use it and it makes onboarding and offboarding easier. We fill more secure about how we manage our digital security.

Cons

A lot of our team still doesn't understand how the groups work and routinely ask us for passwords rather than accessing the groups. We have a large age range and understanding around technology.

It's made running a business much easier. I no longer have to remember individual passwords, freeing up valuable time.

Pros

Cons

My experience with Dashlane has been amazing so far. I have seen improvement on the state of security of users.

Pros

The Credential Risk Detection feature. It allows us to see and monitor the logs for passwords logged in for sites using the browser where the extension resides.

Cons

The CRD feature is not very quantitative. It does not allow us to analyze the logs efficiently. A more quantitative log would be appreciated. Also, sometimes updates take some time to load.

So I'm really bad in remembering the passwords. Dashlane really helped me in keeping my multiple password saved. I'm using it for personal use too. It's really difficult to remember so many emails and password.

Pros

Off course it's feature of saving the password. For me it's really helpful in keeping my password saved with it.

Cons

### "Dashlane, le gestionnaire à choisir"

April 24, 2024

5.0

### "Lifesaver in daily business transactions. One caveat: Activating Dashlane on iPhone is clunky."

October 10, 2017

5.0

See my Dasjhlane review on Capterra

Pros

It is a very powerful app. If you need a new password, Dashlane is your go-to app. It auto-generates very strong passwords, indicates the strength of the password, stores it very securely to be recalled at will. Dashlane automatically fills in your ID and password as soon as you enter a web page that demands your ID and password. Dashlane takes you through all the clutter and gets you to the landing page (amazingly easily). Dashlane does all the work. Dashlane really helps with problems with accessing a website. For example, I needed to access a state government website that I had accessed successfully many times before but it would not grant me access with Dashlane. I did not have to go through the usual routine of beating myself up for forgetting my password because I knew it was in Dashlane. After speaking with their tech support ("maybe you forgot your password" we will send you a new one in an email). I did not feel like going through that routine so I insisted I was right about my password. Turns out that something was down at their end when I tried to access the site and when that was fixed my original password worked. ) This routine has happened on many tech support calls and saved many cycles of wasted conversation time. Coolness: I scanned down to the end of the page of this review where my name and email is entered automatically by Capterra (verification) and there is my Dashlane icon waiting in each window to be called on.

Cons

I am so happy with Dashlane on my computer I increasingly began to need Dashlane on my iPhone. It may be me, but just accessing Dashlane was very involved and I could not get it to work like I could do with ease on my PC. I have had very polite support from Dashlane, at least three times over the last 6 months but I simply do not get the lack of smoothness of access on the iPhone versus the friction-free access with the app on my PC. I have had Dashlane 4 years and I use it heavily every day except on my iPhone. I am still mad about that. I need my iPhone Dashlane!

### "One of the bigger names in password management, but comes with some issues."

October 14, 2022

4.0

I felt let down by Dashlane, It is a great piece of software and I can understand why it is a leader in it field. However a couple of minor issues makes it OK and not great. However please understand it does work and is great at securely storing passwords.

Pros

Dashlane is pollished and well presented. The UI is clean and simple to navigate. Password sharing is the best I´ve seem. I felt confident in storing my passwords in Dashlane.

Cons

Unfortunately the hit and miss of the autofill was a deal breaker for me. I spent for to much time having to manually input passwords.

### "Keeps my passwords secure without me having to try very hard"

December 18, 2019

5.0

I was starting to become more concerned about privacy but didn't know where to begin. I literally kept my passwords in a note on my computer and reused them all the time...very bad behavior. It took a bit to get it set up properly and import & update all of my unsafe passwords, but once I got everything set up it has been a dream. Syncing passwords across all my devices saves me so much time and effort.

Pros

I like that it helped whip me into shape with my bad password habits, calling me out on the repeats and insecure ones. It lets you paste & sync across devices with the paid version which is a total lifesaver. I've tried the sharing version too and it's the only password manager I have been able to get work for sharing. Not having to type or remember passwords is so helpful and it makes me feel far more secure that my passwords aren't too short, repeated everywhere, or left in an easily accessible note. It cured a lot of my bad security behaviors.

Cons

It can be a bit glitchy sometimes, and a bit in your face asking to save things like credit card numbers and other autofill details. Sometimes it doesn't save a password or gets wonky and logs me out, or otherwise acts up. Some websites I have in keychain still show up, so it can be annoying trying to pick the Dashlane box with the keychain one over it--that's probably my fault and I just don't know how to disable keychain now.... I referred Dashlane to my boyfriend so I could share passwords, who is far less techy than me and spends a lot less time on the web, and he did not like it as much. He complained a lot about needing to pay for more passwords and syncing, and that the pop-ups drove him nuts. I was all-in when I started using it, so I guess that made a difference. If you aren't willing to do the initial setup work to get it set up right, you might not like it as much. Once it is set up it is great, but you have to get everything in there properly first.

### "Would rate higher, but no way to edit a user's email whilst retaining passwords"

May 9, 2023

5.0

Generally usable, but expensive per user licencing considering lack of interest in implementing enhancements to support business users.

Pros

Sign in on Chrome to websites works well. Password history and sharing of passwords useful even though sharing options are poor.

Cons

Calls itself , but does not have deep understanding of Business user needs. When a staff member has a change of primary account name (eg: change of name) Dashlane should allow us like every other app to change the email linked to the account.

### "Great tool to keep your passwords secure at one place"

May 19, 2018

4.0

Pros

This tool works great when you are dealing with lots of passwords on a daily basis. It comes to a point where remembering all passwords you need to use every day becomes an impossible task. Noting them down on a document on your computer or on a post-it is definitely not the most secure solution and here's where Dashlane comes to save the day. You now only need to remember one password that will unlock all the other passwords that you save on Dashlane. Once you have it open and running on your computer, it will help you auto-login as long as the password has been already saved there which means you don't even have to type anything. The tool does not only serve as a password storage but can also help you with generating new strong ones when you need to create new ones. As well as passwords, the tool also works with credit cards and with forms, so that you don't have to fill those details anymore, which can become a very tedious task. You can update the stored information at any point as needed.

Cons

There are times when you have more than one credential for a given site and the tool might automatically sign you in with one of them that might not be the one you needed at that moment. Specifically, I'm thinking test users on development tools. Also, on given sites where there are fields to enter, the tool really does not know what they are for and tries to fill them in with the option it thinks is best, but that might not be the case. As an example, I'm referring to fields that serve as filters for a given list. Having something entered there is not ideal as you may not need to filter anything but the tool keeps trying to fill the field anyways, even when you keep deleting whatever Dashlane entered there.
