I almost never type anything when ordering online or when creating a new account. Pros \- Automatic form filling features, including automatic password generation - Synchronization across all my devices (that's a paid feature) - Warnings are sent when my passwords may have been compromised Cons Using a hardware device to replace my master password would be a great improvement. Also, more granular control over the 2FA options would be nice (for instance, the ability to whitelist some computers/devices and always ask for 2FA on other devices). Review Source Isaac W. April 24, 2018 4.0 Stores passwords and updated the passwords on sites that I need to be more secure. Pros The ability to quickly generate strong passwords and store them easily across all devices is wonderful. This way, we are ensured increased security. However, it doesn't seem like there is a viable backup in the case of losing a dashlane password. Cons It does a poor job of logins where there are two usernames and a password. For example, when using American Airlines login, it has a field for your AA number, then your last name, then your password. Dashlane messes up when logging in there and it takes extra time to change it all. Additionally, I have yet to find a functionality which chooses which sites to automatically log into and which sites to not autofill at all. Review Source PG Pierre G. Also, it's now working with your phone and tablets (at least for Android, I didn't check for Apple). I really love it and it would be hard to change back Pros Dashlane is a very useful tool. It allows you to save all your passwords in a secure way. That mean you don't even know to know them. You can go real hard with 16 digits password and use all different ones for your account and share them of course with your team. The best feature is that it will most of the time automatically fill in your username and password for the websites you're using and it's a real time saver ! Cons The price for Dashlane Business. You can even sync between devices. Cons Sometimes when trying to fill in forms the Dashlane box pops up in the wrong place so you can't type into the form but you can't select the information from dashlane either till you scroll around and find its pop-up. once you have learnt this quirk it is fine but can be frustrating. Sometimes it also fills the wrong information into the forms, this is especially frustrating when you have a form with the label in the text box so it gets overwritten. Accessing details is so easy with the Chrome plugin too - I can't imagine life without it. The pricing is fair and it works brilliantly across teams - you can give people access to password information and then automatically update the passwords at the click of a button. It's brilliant for teams that are constantly growing and changing. Cons The main con that I've found is that you can never change the login password. Pros The UI/UX of dashlane business is great! i love the functionality of the browser extension as well. Of course shared passwords is the main benefit of dashlane. Its also really easy to store different passwords for different teams Cons The whole point of dashland business is that you can have shared passwords between your teammates but the actual sharing is super complex. you first have to set up the password, store it in a vault for the respective team but then for some reason you have to share it with the individual team members before they can see it. It can save multiple users credentials on same website. It detects the new credentials it self and ask you right there if you wan't to update it. You can rename credential title for the ease of remembrance. You can share desired credentials with multiple users if you want and it can keep them hidden too. DarkWeb Search feature is awesome feature that scan millions of record. So if your email or information is leaked on dark web. You can change your email and update your information. Cons If you add it first time in your browser, it ask you to reboot the browser and sometime you lose all your pinned and open tabs on chrome. On some ie tab, it doesn't ask you to login infact login automatically that may create a hassle if you want to see something on Home page. All my passwords were the same and I would still forget them when I was away from home and couldn't get to my master list. This takes your list with you. And the company provides some peace of mind by sharing how hacks have compromised the old style spreadsheet database and how they have repelled hacking attempts saving businesses countless amounts of money. I do have some employees that do choose to use Dashlane and that's fine with us. Pros I really liked the UI and some of the features. It offers to save receipts and other data that iCloud Keychain wouldn't. It allows for sharing of information between me and my boss. Cons It doesn't play nicely with iCloud Keychain. For instance, the browser extension gets in the way of the auto-fill option for iCloud, so neither of them work well. Used the software for: ### "Excellent Service, Lifesaver" December 12, 2016 5.0 At a certain point, you realize it's impossible to remember all your passwords for all the different websites we use and access on a daily basis. Every site has their own special formula of characters, numbers and symbols. A full time job on its own. When I was introduced to Dashlane I started out slow, only posting the most obscure websites and passwords, the ones I could never remember. As time went on however, I realized the power of the service is increased the more you use it. The more sites you use it for, the stronger it gets at telling you where possible breaches have happened (i.e. Dropbox, Yahoo...), where redundant passwords should be changed to increase what they call the security score. All this in an effort to make you more secure, and hidden behind an encrypted file, that cannot be accessed by anyone but you. The Dashlane service is great, and I would encourage everyone to give it a try, you will not regret it! The added credit card functionality is great too and I'm able to share different credentials among team members fairly easily Pros VPN service is available, automatically adds passwords, credit card adding, feels secure (logs me out every 2 weeks) Cons Touch screen does not select the pop-up, you have to use your trackpad/mouse to "click" on it instead of tapping, if I don't add a password before completing sign up the automatic password adder will go away- always copy your password just in case! I think this is a great tool. Pros I like that you can save passwords, notes, personal info, payments and id information in one account. Sharing information with coworkers has never been more secure. Also, you get email notifications regarding information being shared with you. Cons I don't like that information being saved doesn't always show up in real time on the application.
