Pros I like the fact I do not have to remember to write on my passwords and user names anymore. Dashlane keeps up most of my login information and also suggests passwords for me to use. I can also change the information or updated as necessary as needed with no problems. Cons When I swap to a different company or hard drive on the same computer the dashlane app does not retain the passwords and user names. Pros ....because Dashlane does such a great job managing them! I love that they are all super secure within Dashlane. The fact that they are available on all of my devices is great. I never realized how many passwords I had. The fact that they were all the same before is terrifying. I feel safe and secure now! Cons It is, unfortunately, a little glitchy. The app for both Windows and Mac crashed every now and again. Some sites with multiple log ins like Gmail have a hard time figuring out which one to log in to. I like how Dashlane integrates with Chrome to automatically fill or generate complex passwords when I go to log in. Centralising passwords has made my work like much easier and more secure. I no longer use similar passwords for all my tools and websites. Cons Sometimes I've had to refresh the window to trigger the password popup that autofills in my details. The possibility of being able to share the passwords with people whom I choose I like very much and the integration with other tools is very good. Pros What I like most about Dashlane is the time it saves me thanks to its password and information management. Having all my passwords and information for forms at the click of a button is very useful for me, in addition to being full of peace of mind knowing that it doesn't matter if I forget the passwords I used, since Dashlane saves me that work. Cons What I don't like so much about Dashlane, is that the free version is very limited in terms of the number of passwords that can be managed since there are many sites that I enter daily and I would like to have a greater amount of storage. Cons Sometimes passwords don't sync or I change a password and it doesnt update properly. It also can be a pain when say Safari and Dashlane want to autofill at the same time. This is the bare minimum a service like this can provide. Cons The support is atrocious. We were not able to access our passwords for 6 days and despite it being raised as an "urgent" issue they were completely unresponsive on the issue. Don't trust your sensitive data here, stay away. Pros You need to remember only ONE password and that is it. No more reused passwords on other 25 places. It does all you need, securely and if some security risks are raised you get alerted, so lets you sleep calmly. Cons Dashlane Premium has VPN as part of a package, but business version has it removed. If you want it, you need to pay extra and that price is not competitive... Installed fine, but unfortunately when I went to actually change a password, the menu option to do so was missing. Worked with Dashlane customer support opening two separate tickets, they had me waste hours uninstalling and reinstalling the software, to no avail. Never worked. It is nice to get an at glance look to see if our passwords are strong, and then change them if necessary. Also like giving users individual access that can be revoked if necessary. Cons Employees don't want to use it to keep their personal passwords on the software, still keep using alternative programs, like LastPass or 1Password, for personal use. This is causing two password management software programs on the machines, which is not ideal. This is probably due to dashlane's price while others are free. I also like to feature of locking out every couple minutes to ensure prying eyes cannot enter if I leave my desk for too long. Pros I wanted to find a password keeping software that was desktop oriented and not online like lastpass. I found Dashlane and signed up for the free trial. The software has areas to keep passwords, website information, payment information and notes. Pros I used to keep a folder with sticky notes of all my passwords. This was in addition to the spreadsheet with company passwords. It was just too much--and not safe. Dashlane makes it so easy! It's like having a great memory while being compliant. Cons On occasion, my system will sign me out of one or more devices. I wish there was a way to sync all devices which I use. Pros The programs records all your logins and passwords as you cruise through the various browsers. It tells you when a password is weak and makes suggestions to change your passwords.
