I can integrate my team through the software, making everyone have access to what is happening in the projects while I can delegate tasks to each team member. Without a doubt, the use of Monday.com was a big revolution in my company. Pros What I like most about the software is the colorful and interactive interface that Monday.com has. In addition, I really like being able to create my own project organization, editing the parameters of each column of the tables with deadlines, descriptions, responsible, status, among other parameters. The ability to transform tabulated data into calendar and other visualization modes is another very positive point at Monday.com. Cons A negative experience I had with the software was in the calendar view mode, where it is not possible to adjust the zoom the way the user wants, which ends up cutting the view of some topics when there are many items on the same date. Cons I wish the different boards were integrated a little easier so I could have one board for sales, one for marketing, and then one for my overall calendar I could share with my management team. Graphic Designer Design Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Monday.com: decent experience during first trial" February 6, 2022 3.0 Overall, it is a pretty decent way to manage my projects and work as well as collaborate with co-workers and clients (apart from the "video conferencing" feature). However, as someone who only used the 14-day trial, I feel like it just isn't enough time for the user to familiarize themselves with all of the complicated features. Furthermore, the pricing plans need to be more clear to users. Pros The one thing that I liked most about this software was that I got a chance to try monday.com without having to pay or add a credit card to sign up (it was completely free, which is something I really appreciated). I really liked the content and calendar management features. They really helped keep me on track with my work. It was nice to have a clean workspace to track what I needed to get done. I also really appreciated the search option which helped me easily find my projects. Cons The thing that I liked least about this software is that I genuinely don't think that 14 days is enough to learn all of the complicated features that come along with monday.com (such as the API feature). A lot of the features seem like they aren't made for beginners (yet the whole point of a free trial is so that beginners can familiarize themselves with the entire software and enjoy the experience so that they will purchase a subscription). However, after not properly learning and becoming familiar with all the features that I can benefit from, after 14 days of using the software, I am not inclined as a user to purchase the subscription. Furthermore, another thing that I didn't really like about the software was that the pricing plans for the subscriptions were very confusing. I wasn't exactly sure what plan to consider if I chose to proceed with monday.com after the free trial. I really wasn't sure how to even compare the prices with the features that they were offering. And lastly, I strongly disliked the "video conferencing" feature, it was extremely glitchy; I could barely hear my client when using it (I decided to go back to my primary form of video conferencing after that experience). Of all the PM tools I have used, this one is by far the easiest and most fun to use. While I would recommend it over any similar product, I still struggle with some limitations of the program and getting boards set up. The onboarding can either be seamless or an absolute pain - so suggest reading up and playing around with it before plugging in your actual work. Pros I love this tool for its ease of use and how easy it is to see everything at once. Easy to assign people to tasks and schedule out work. Much better compared to Asana! Cons Getting started is the hardest part. While there are pre-existing templates it can be very hard to know which will be best until you start playing around with it but if it is wrong then you're stuck with that format or need to start from scratch. Pros I love how easy it is to use. I love the user interface & branding. And love how it helps make managing our team's quarterly, down to weekly, projects and staying connected with the status of things. Really helps to keep us organized. Also love how there is both a desktop and mobile app. Cons I will say Monday.com is always improving and coming out with new features. But currently some things in relation to subitems could use some additional functionality. And things around automations could be a bit more intuitive too. Especially when teams are spread out across the globe, updates are almost always instantaneous. works on both Chrome and iOS. The views are simple to grasp and adjust to your own method of working. It's a breeze to get up and running, and it only takes a few minutes to learn and collaborate with your team. Cons The timeline feature, one of the nicest features, is not available in the free edition. Some of the integrations are a tad constrained. If you don't handle your email notifications, you'll be flooded. Cons There is no native integration with Google Calendar or any other similar platform. Some features which are provided freely in some other platforms are paid in Mondays.com, such as Gantt diagrams or charts.
