I'm very happy with the boost Monday's given us in managing our projects. We first bought it to set up shared boards for our projects, but very quickly expanded our use into shared documents, forms, notes, and more. I definitely recommend it if you need one source of truth for project management.

Pros

I like the sandbox environment it creates to boost collaboration. We have shared boards to monitor everyone's tasks, shared documents, forms, etc. When you need a new type of document or collaborative environment, chances are, Monday will already have it.

Cons

It's hard to start using it confidently in the beginning. I was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning by all the different modules available. It might be a bit frustrating to onboard to it if you can't spare a lot of time to learn it in the beginning

I like because this task manager allows me to work collaboratively with my team, Monday.com gives you all the tools so you can organize your projects, making known the tasks that have to be done weekly, Monday.com helps work teams carry out tasks in an orderly manner, while I am creating task management and the design of the board, I can also interact with team members by letting them know what their responsibilities and commitment dates are. Something to highlight is the visual part, it is attractive, and you will never get bored since it has vibrant colors that will never bore you.

Cons

something I don't like about Monday is the customer service is a bit tedious for them to answer you since you have to send emails to schedule an appointment and that takes a lot of time, contacting customer service should be more practical, since it can cause you to stop tracking a project for a problem that would not take much time to solve, another aspect that I don't like is that for new users it can take a while to adapt, since it has its predefined menu, but it is not as customizable as it seems

Very positive. The browser based ability to access, input, manipulate and execute has been a massive step forward in end user adoption for us particularly.

Pros

Massive upgrade from previous projects system. The look and feel of it is highly advanced. However ensuring the data points you need to deliver is very easy to set up and reporting is excellent too.

Cons

We had no ability to transfer any of our existing data into the tool because of comparability issues. We however resources this through FTC’s and semi manually adding to the system the bare bones of historical projects taking a risk based approach.

Great experience as a user, it was a pleasure to switch from Teams Kanban to it.

Pros

I like the ease of use and how intuitive the tool is. You obviously need some training to get a good overview but after a week or so you are fairly confident with the tool. It's very customizable and you can adjust it to your needs. I also like My work section where you can track tasks assigned to you.

Cons

My work is not very customizable but it's a minor issue, overall it's a great tool, really enjoy using it.

Cons

Emphasis on data sharing, but limited storage space means only the pro plan is practical for any business, no matter how large or small. Only five dashboards are allowed per Pro account, and other user tiers are only allowed one. That's the catch when doing statistical analysis.

We are an electrical company that has outgrown our old systems, which include magnetic boards and various Google calendars. We needed a scheduling program that was adaptable and could adapt to our proven work processes. I visited other websites that I found appealing, however, I found to be simple to use to mimic our procedures and had no problem making it our own. This is why we use this method to centralize scheduling and project operations for about 300 projects at the same time, whether at one stage or another. We are now adding service schedules and looking for ways to avoid losing billable hours or service requests.

Pros

We've only been using for a year, but it has replaced the systems we created and changed over the past 17 years. I don't think our predecessors have survived any longer than that. If needed, or if we come up with a new idea, we can replace it with our existing workflow instead of having to start from scratch! Remote access to a computer or mobile device, possible from anywhere.

Cons

I would like to see "public" connected dashboards shared with our film crews. Unfortunately, it seems that, if information is shared, connected or mirrored from a board that cannot be accessed openly "publicly", it cannot be viewed. I am still working on this and have not given up, however, I am not sure if we are at a point where an Enterprise account is required. Mondays.com is faster at certain times and at others it is more cumbersome.

Pros

The features that I like the most about is its automations, I can essentially create any process that I want for my projects like reminders, dependent tasks, Slack messages, among many other automations.

Cons

We use a variety of Google-created websites and integrate boards with them but the widgets are not very interactive and are very limited in terms of filtering.

Very useful software for managing your projects, goals and social media planning. It works well for me as a solo entrepreneur but I can see how it would work well for a team too.

Pros

I like the colour coding for different statuses of task progress. I also like that each social media channel has a different colour and each week or project has its own colour. This makes it easier to see what projects you have going on and where you’re at with your task completion. It’s also easy to see your social media content plan and what social media site has a post planned for what day. This was you don’t miss posting to each site on something important like a product launch and you can see where you have holes you might need to fill on the calendar view.

Cons

It can take some time to fill out all your tasks and social media schedules but this is a good thing to work on when you have some downtime like riding a bus or waiting for an appointment. Or schedule it in as a task in itself!

I chose this one because it made more sense to me visually.
