Pros My favorite feature of is the automation. This makes it easy to stay on top of tasks without logging into the platform, however the number of automations you get per month is very limited with the lower tiered plans. Cons I dislike almost everything about this software, but primarily the PM and CRM functions. On the PM side, the platform does not make it easy to create templates for tasks and use them to structure future projects. There is also not capability (that I could find) to update the date on more than one task at a time. It's very tedious to add a project into and even more tedious to change dates later on. There are some pretty views and pre-made project templates, but for someone with experience in the PM field monday.com feels more like a hinderance than a help. On the CRM side, I was honestly shocked to hear monday.com branded themselves as such. As someone with experience in multiple CRMs, I can see almost nothing on this platform that functions as a CRM. It could be helpful for VERY simple contact management, but that's about it. All of this to say I can tell the monday.com team is trying very hard to make a good product, it just seems like it's trying to do too much and doing none of it well. Pros Actually I have been using it for less time, but it looked easy to me till now compared to other tools. I can create and assign task to a team without much needing wizard. I can even comment on specific tasks if any problem persists in the project in between. Also, I have loved their support and documentation to integrate it with my already using apps. Cons Price is too high and sometimes get even higher. Phone version is very frustrating and gets tucked up when working simultaneously on multiple screen, especially while typing. This affected the team, and so we found other ways to complete tasks. I don't want to completely put the software down, as I can see that it would be useful. The free trial is free, and if you need more time, they will also give you more free time, so you can get set up. Set up is time consuming. There are probably others who have a great experience. Try the free trial and see if it's for you. Pros Everything is customizable. Basic set up's are not hard. Cons Complicated processes and managing the team was difficult. With an affordable pricing list, you can get the best essential features to run your business or organization, work in teams or go for a solo adventure. Monday makes easy the creation of flows, at least for me; this was a great addition and works great with the most used tools out there. Pros I always believe one of the usual problems you can find in project management suites is their cloned user interface. They think we all need to stay classic to understand how to use one of these tools. Monday breaks that door and launches with a fresh and new type of user interface and experience. You can find the same classic tools, but all with a new look and a new way to create flows in the same app without using external apps (for important actions). Cons I have to say I'm a comebacker to this tool. When Monday launched, I was there testing what they could offer, and I was very pleased with the UI and the easy way of using the tool's features. My problem was their pricing table for starters. So, after many months, I returned and checked (after being bombarded by advertising on a social network) if something was different from the beginning. It was a pleasant surprise they were still developing and changed some of the pricing tables. Pros It's easy to set up and use. Our team picked up the program fast and used it since day one. Workspace management is also great. Cons It would not really use it as a full CRM. The email tracking is limited and tools like HubSpot are created to have a unified platform where all customer touchpoints are connected. The best CRM that we have been able to have within the company. Pros The customization of the different workflows, makes the tasks much easier to execute and visualize, preventing any delay in the activities. Document management is very useful, as all documents are stored in the same place, saving time searching for them in different sections. The Gantt chart, the task management and the automatic workflow make this CRM the ideal software for project planning in any company. One of the most complete task planning and execution software I have used. The activities are executed in order of priority, according to the benefit of the project and the company, so it certainly achieves a better flow of the work environment. Since it was installed in the company, all projects flow much better. Cons The learning curve can be quite high, depending on the number of projects and members, since so many functions and customizing workflows can be complicated. It is the main tool with which we've successfully centralized all project work , processes and files in a single place for maximized productivity. Pros is designed to be easy to use, due to its intuitive layout. This is important as it makes Monday.com easier to learn for new users. Another area where Monday.com has its strength is in how it enables us to customize automation rules within projects we manage. We have extensively leveraged this to setup automation sequences , that enables specific project tasks to be accomplished with as little human input as possible. Cons Project workflow and visibility is limited on platform. There is no provision to view information across all projects we are managing on the platform , in real time. Monday.com limits project view tracking to one project at a time.
