Pros

It's easy to customize and quick to train a new team member on. I've been using it for over a year and it has been able to grow and evlove as my business needs have changed.

Cons

No complaints. Its pretty versatile and meets all my needs so I don't have any cons to list but I have to meet the character limit for the review.

Still positive although we do have a number of frustrations. We are finding the cost high, and a finding ways of reviewing the number of team members who access the platform - probably not ideal for moving forward

Pros

templates are great, features are endless, being able to have alerts emailed between teams works well.

Cons

it is expensive, not always sure of the value for money, there are a lot of bugs with the automations and AI support. Customer support is difficult to engage and the support is not always relevant as I dont think the support people understand our challenges. User functions and the levels of access could be better aligned with features

Really positive. The program is evolving, so it means we are constantly improving as well. The initial boards are therefor already outdated.

Pros

It is easy to use and bug free with a fast refresh rate. The collaboration options with multiple people works well. The Vibe option is fantastic.

Cons

The fact you have not a lot of formula options. The fact you need to pre-decide on the boards requires extra thinking at the start.

My overall experience with Monday.com has been extremely positive. The platform has delivered significant time savings for both myself and my department, allowing us to work more efficiently and focus on what truly matters. A standout result has been our ability to consistently maintain departmental KPIs above 98%, which speaks directly to the reliability and clarity Monday.com brings to our workflows. Monday.com has greatly improved communication across multiple departmental elements by providing clear visibility, ownership, and direction on projects. Everyone knows what is happening, who is responsible, and what the next steps are, which has reduced confusion and improved accountability across the board. The introduction of Monday Vibe has taken things to another level, enhancing our workflows, improving visual presentation, enabling powerful cross‑board data analysis, and delivering highly effective dashboards. The ability to “pimp out” our boards and reporting has not only improved performance tracking but also made the platform enjoyable to use on a daily basis. Overall, Monday.com has become a critical part of how we operate. It supports structure, efficiency, and performance at scale, 'way to go, Monday.com'.

Pros

Monday.com is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for staff who are not particularly tech‑focused. The visual layout makes it simple to understand task status, priorities, and ownership at a glance, which significantly reduces onboarding time for new users. One of Monday.com’s strongest features is its flexibility. Boards, columns, automations, and views can be tailored to suit different teams and workflows, allowing us to manage everything from day‑to‑day tasks to more complex operational processes in one platform. The built-in automations save a considerable amount of time by reducing manual updates and follow‑ups. Notifications, status changes, and task assignments happen automatically, which helps keep work moving without constant supervision. Monday.com greatly improves collaboration by giving everyone clear visibility over who is working on what and where tasks are up to. Comments, updates, and file attachments being tied directly to items keep communication organised and easy to follow. The dashboards provide useful high-level insights into workloads, timelines, and progress across multiple boards. This makes it much easier to track performance and identify bottlenecks without manually pulling data from different sources.

Cons

While basic functionality is easy to pick up, some of the more advanced features (such as complex automations and dashboards) can take time to fully understand and configure correctly. As teams grow and require additional users or advanced features, costs can increase quickly. This may be a consideration for organisations managing a large number of users or multiple boards.

Great experience so far. It’s a powerful platform with a lot of potential once you get the hang of it. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once systems are set up properly, it makes managing tasks, communication, and workflows much more efficient and streamlined across the team.

Pros

Very up to date and constantly evolving with new features. It’s a great platform for organising workflows, automating tasks, and keeping everything in one place. The customisation options are strong, allowing you to tailor boards to suit your business needs, and the integrations make it easy to connect with other tools we already use.

Cons

The AI features can be a little confusing to navigate at times, especially when you’re first getting started. There are so many options and tools available that it can feel slightly overwhelming, and it takes a bit of time to fully understand how everything works together and how to best implement it.

We have been using Monday as our project management tool to manage client projects and internal programs. What I like the most is the ease of use and the reporting capabilities, plus the level of flexibility it provides to add guests for shareable boards, allowing for easy communication

There is no easy way to track resource time and cost in my current tier. I was able to implement a workaround though

Overall I am very happy with Monday.com and would recommend it to others. The customer service is helpful and the system is a huge time saver.

Pros

I have used Monday.com in my last 2 roles and both were able to take manual processes and drive material improvements. The automations make it much easier to drive process flows and it is a very user friendly platform with quick adaptation.

Cons

There are some lags while automations are running which can be a nuisance. Additionally, there are limits in the logic and board structures (such as not being able to use "or" statements). The board structures can be limiting but this is not too much of an issue if you plan accordingly.

there arent any major issues with monday.com but i would be nice to have templates of pages so that people didn't have to create from scratch.

It's reliable. The way I see it is that if my company uses monday.com, I'd be fine with that, but I wouldn't be overjoyed. If I wanted to manage personal projects outside of work, I'd prefer the Atlassian suite of tools.

Pros

There is flexibility in how you use it, especially through the ability to automate workflows based on a large set of triggers. Where prescribed options don't hit the mark, the AI automation function comes in handy. I also love how the My Work tab aggregates my assigned tasks across all boards I'm involved in, and the customisation options to hide/show items as needed. I've described Monday.com as "a spreadsheet on steroids".

Cons

I don't love the main item > sub-item structure, despite this being the core structure of the system. It limits usability of the platform to 'spreadsheet style' itemising of tasks. If I really wanted a spreadsheet to customise, sometimes it is easier to use Google sheets. I would use Monday.com for the ability to automate workflows and the collaboration aspect (e.g., knowing that tagging a team member in an item will reliably send them a notification and there's a clear audit trail of activities). I would prefer boards that offer 'ticket style' itemisation - this is offered to an extent through Kanban views and item cards, but where it falls short is not allowing an item card to absorb fields from other items across other boards. E.g., If I want a templated data field, it HAS to be created as a column, not as a data field within a card. This can also be solved to an extent with Connect Boards, but I've often found that the sum of these features is a clunky experience where no true linkage between cards and boards can be made without significant high-touch workarounds.

Overall, my experience with Monday.com has been very positive. It is a strong platform for bringing structure, visibility, and accountability across different workflows. I found it easy to track priorities, assign ownership, monitor progress, and keep teams aligned in one central place. The dashboards and automation features are particularly useful for reducing manual follow-up and giving a clearer view of what is active, delayed, or completed. Like any platform, it works best when boards are set up cleanly and governed properly, but overall it is a practical and effective tool for improving collaboration and workflow management.

Pros

What I liked most about Monday.com is the visibility and structure it gives across workstreams. It makes it easy to see what is active, who owns each task, what the priorities are, and where items are sitting in the workflow. The platform is also intuitive and flexible, which makes it practical for different teams and use cases without becoming overly complicated. Its dashboards, status tracking, and automation features help keep work moving and reduce the need for constant manual follow-up.

Cons

What I liked least about Monday.com is that it can become cluttered if boards and workflows are not set up consistently. With too many columns, automations, or duplicated boards, it can be harder to maintain a clean single source of truth. Some of the more advanced reporting and dashboard features also take time to configure properly, so the platform works best when there is clear ownership and governance around how it is used.
