Great value for the price as compared to other providers. Pros Dashboard feature that shows a snapshot of current status of all projects to higher management. Other feature of setting up timeline for individual tasks and sending a reminder email when the deadline is approaching is helpful. Cons Complexity in setting up the tool. I would suggest to have video tutorials available for this tool which would immensely reduce the complexity. The best CRM that we have been able to have within the company. Pros The customization of the different workflows, makes the tasks much easier to execute and visualize, preventing any delay in the activities. Document management is very useful, as all documents are stored in the same place, saving time searching for them in different sections. The Gantt chart, the task management and the automatic workflow make this CRM the ideal software for project planning in any company. One of the most complete task planning and execution software I have used. The activities are executed in order of priority, according to the benefit of the project and the company, so it certainly achieves a better flow of the work environment. Since it was installed in the company, all projects flow much better. Cons The learning curve can be quite high, depending on the number of projects and members, since so many functions and customizing workflows can be complicated. The mobile application does not have all the features of the web version, and its interface is not as user-friendly. Its reports should be more customizable and modifiable. Review Source Jordan P. It is the main tool with which we've successfully centralized all project work , processes and files in a single place for maximized productivity. Pros Monday.com is designed to be easy to use, due to its intuitive layout. This is important as it makes Monday.com easier to learn for new users. Another area where Monday.com has its strength is in how it enables us to customize automation rules within projects we manage. We have extensively leveraged this to setup automation sequences , that enables specific project tasks to be accomplished with as little human input as possible. Cons Project workflow and visibility is limited on Monday.com platform. There is no provision to view information across all projects we are managing on the platform , in real time. Pros Many features of this software are very good but I found the best feature that in this software all the team members can submit their transfer at one place and discuss on it. By doing this, if there is any deficiency in the work done by the team member, then the rest of the team members detect it and give better suggestions. Pros Monday is clear to use, well laid out and provides great insight into our sales pipeline. The KPI tracking and ability to review statistics allow us to understand easily where we are as a business and refine our focus to provide balance across different aspects of our pipeline. Cons The note making features. Currently to take a note around a specific process, although the note is attached to the process, in order to review it, you have to go into the process and select the tag, meaning there is not the ability for a brief overview which would be very valuable. July 14, 2022 5.0 Pros I love the out of the box solutions that solve for most all needs, but there is so much customization you can do that it easily becomes a unique solution. It does a great job of PM and helping teams adhere to timelines because there is so much visibility within the system. It's a must have for organizations managing numerous projects. Cons It does take some discipline to start using the system, but this is not unique to this software. We had to assign several champions to make sure we could get the team to embrace the software (now they love it). Those super-users were critical to success! It's easy to have everyone on the same page, makes communicating easy, and is VERY easy for the uninitiated to get up and running quickly. Pros Monday.com is straight out of the box simple to learn and yet it has a huge variety of features to make it as robust as you need it to be. The ability to quickly set up projects, timelines, teams, and tasks is just really almost too easy. Also love being able to easily switch between views (table, Kanban, calendar, etc.) that speak to the way my mind works. Compared to other PM cloud tools that I have used (Trello, Asana, Teamwork, etc.) I found Monday.com to be far easier to get going quickly and without a huge learning curve. Their Knowledge Base is vast, and the customer service is also great. Tips & tricks pop up to help enhance the UX without being annoying. They actually seem to be listening to the user audience and carefully implement improvements that make sense. Cons Haven't found any downsides yet! Seriously it's so easy to use I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop! Being able to automate repetitive tasks within internal projects , has helped with faster completion of some of our most complex departmental projects. Pros Monday.com makes the process of automating projects , to be easily customizable by anyone on my team , without the need of advanced technical knowledge. With a few tweaks and clicks, we have successfully been able to setup sequences of project processes, that work on their own with as little human input as possible. Cons I greatly dislike that Monday.com puts major task management features on its highest priced packages. For instance, we were able set up one for tracking bed occupancy rates which updates in real-time which increased our patient efficiency during flu-season by 40%. We also use Monday as our central hub for cross-departmental communication. Whether it’s coordinating patient transfers between wards or discussing staffing needs in our weekly 'Bagels and Budget' meetings, monday.com keeps everyone in sync. Cons Initially, our staff, especially those less tech-savvy, found the array of features a bit overwhelming. It took a series of seminars (which were assisted by monday staff) and training sessions to get everyone on board. Additionally, in a sector where budgeting is as critical and is often the trade-off between one type of patient-care and another, the pricing tiers of monday.com can cause a bit of a gulp. Monday.com had good features in both but lacked algorithms that effect project end dates. It is more a planning tool. Many people use add on apps to make the system more intuitive. Pros The interface of the product is great. Very modern very simple to use with good reporting function. Cons Whenever you planned projects each tasks could only be scheduled for a day not hourly. This does not work for a manufacturing facility where multiple tasks are completed in a day. Task completion dates and resource planning became in-accurate and over-stretched as a result. Clashes in resource were only flagged up by the system. no project finish date were actually impacted by clashes in resource. The system still allowed you to plan despite the evident capacity of resource. The software did not provide an impact on completion dates, it only flags the clashes. I also appreciate the fact that you can see who has seen your comment and tag specific people to make sure they noticed it. Furthermore, the customizable notification emails are a wonderful option, as you can choose to be informed about everything that is posted or just the content that you are tagged in or assigned. Cons The setup process was a bit trial and error, but once we figured it out, we had a system that gave us all the information we needed without making things too complicated. Eliminates the need to send emails back and forth for status updates, keeps everyone on the same page and is the "source" for all status updates. Cons It is almost TOO customizable. There are so many use cases and ways to structure and use the program that it can be a little daunting at first. I work in a team of 4-5 and getting everyone on the same page with exactly how the program will be used, what merits a new item vs a new group vs do we need to create a new board was difficult at first. We still work to refine this every day. You really need to force yourself and team to go "all in" and explain that board refinements will be a work in progress. No first iteration of a board will be perfect by any means, but it's important to keep everyone engaged so they do not go rogue or are spotty with their use of the program.
