It is a good way to streamline projects. Pros Pretty flexible software. Allows for many different configurations depending on how you want to use it. Different departments can use it in different ways according to their own workflows. Cons Seems to be a learning curve for some. Small issues like no auto saving of an info box. All of the common business processes are streamlined and are presented as boards made of rows and columns. Each row is a separate task, and each column is a component of the task: be it status, date, task owner or anything else. There are ready made templates for common processes: project management, recruiting, marketing outreach and many others. This way, there is one straightforward to manage different processes and collaborate with the team or with multiple teams. Collaboration is also implemented in an intuitive way: just mention the relevant team member by name in a task or a comment, and they will receive a notification in their inbox. Overall, Monday is a fantastically well-designed product and it makes managing projects and tasks to be fun again! Cons When it comes to a big team, Monday is definitely not cheap. I think it is a good option for large and medium sized companies. If you are a freelancer I think you could look for other options. Pros I like it for project management and remote work. I think it is an effective program that does its job; its interface is easy to use and it has helped me to group services without the need to change platforms. I mainly use it to manage team projects and tasks, creative process records, finance management, and I like that it can be integrated with other applications such as Gmail and Slack. It's really encouraging to get all your tasks done to see a llama party and feed the animals. Cons It can be a little confusing for a beginner to get used to monday.com. It is usable and does help in small amount to increase productivity. However, frustrating features can cause usage burnout and lead to decreased viability and visibility. Pros Monday.com has some customization opportunities that helps make this solution nimble for many different types of working environments. Cons Customization is basically required to make this a usable platform. The out of the box solution would not work for our needs. Even with customization some of the processes can be overwhelming especially for approval processes. It streamlines communication and status on projects. Cons The setup of Monday.com is very time consuming. Previously we were working across multiple platforms and for one to develop and approve content required many tabs to open. Now we can set out our content planning for one month, in one section with everything there and links to our longer form content. Nothing gets lost and it is so much easier to go between! Pros Monday has been extremely easy to use and the fact that we can organise and coordinate all of our social platforms in one place has made it soooooooo much easier for one to develop and approve content. I like the ability to see and categorize all my leads at once. I also enjoy the ability to create my own board or to filter out the leads that I have ownership over on the board. The colors and styles are very fun and aesthetically pleasing! Cons The board gives a great Birds Eye view of everything but because of that it can be difficult view more details of each project.
