"Stellar support. It's miles ahead of the other alternatives."

Overall: Increased number of referrals sent out by my users by ~50%. Absolutely worth the money i spent on it.

Pros: Easy to integrate. Documentation and setup guide is comprehensive. The founder gets involved in support requests and has quick turnaround times.

Cons: The only thing area that could be improved in terms of UX is the number of emails I get. I suspect i'm in the minority group that finds the volume of emails annoying though.

"Cloudsponge saves huge amounts of development time"

Pros: Cloudsponge is an excellent tool for our company. I have allowed hundreds of our users to import their friends and family from 9 different address book sources. It would have taken our development staff hours and hours of effort to enable imports from all those systems and instead we had Cloudsponge working on our website the same day we decided to give it a shot. Cloudsponge also keeps tabs on all of these outside systems for you. If one of them is making a change to their API, Cloudsponge is right there to update their import system so you don't need to worry about webmail systems making changes on their end.

Cons: The setup can be a little tricky and take some time if you want to use your own API keys with some of the outside systems. The new pricing is a little steep.

"Docs are great, easy to navigate and customer support is quick"

Pros: Easy to use API, very customizable, docs complete enough for an engineer who hasn't used the lib before to maintain and understand the various ways of customizing the lib for their use cases. Many examples to dig through to help you get started without any help really from support or reading through an information source like SO.

Cons: Not sure, didn't run into one with my experience. My experience with the lib was great and the support was amazing. Cust support representative was quick to respond to my various questions and willingness to jump on VC to help out when I had issues.

"An essential and easy tool for adding that viral component to build your user base"

Pros: Cloudsponge is a great piece of software to easily integrate with and add that viral component to build your user base. I remember seeing something similar in Quora's early days and wanted something like this for our project. It would have taken us many hundreds of hours to build something similar not to mention additional time it would need to maintain and keep up with all the API changes to the different mail box providers. We were thus very happy to find Cloudsponge. Integration into our product was very easy as the documentation is very good specially for someone who knows some CSS and JS. Customer support has also been great with the CEO replying within when needed within 24hrs.

Cons: Pricing could be an issue for early startups but the CEO is known to be very considerate and encouraging to young startups.

"CloudSponge Email Address Book Integration"

Overall: Our business, LeavingCard.com, allows the site visitor to create collaborative eCards. The user needs access to their contacts in order to loop in both the people collaborating on the card, and also the end recipient. CloudSponge's tool set helps us here.

Pros: CloudSponge provide an excellent address book tool/widget that can be used to extract contacts from people using your website. 10 years ago, when I had the same problem, my company had to write adapters for each email provider and it was not the core problem that we were solving. Today, there is this great service (backed by an equally great group of human beings) and this means we can focus more directly on the problem at hand. There have been a couple of hurdles when looking to obtain permissions from email providers like Outlook and GMail but luckily the guys at CloudSponge have seen this all before and were responsive to our requests for guidance.

Cons: There was nothing about our experience that I would flag as a negative
