Using and linking macros for diagnoses, billing, stains, and specimens is very easy with this product and promotes more efficient workflow. This product is well suited for an anatomic pathology laboratory of any size. Cons It was difficult at first to get our label-makers to work with this product. The support team quickly created a new platform that has more universal compatibility with common lab peripherals. Reasons for choosing AP Easy I choose AP Easy for its low startup and monthly cost. Though it was a new product, it's FileMaker version had a great reputation and I was able to demo all the features of the cloud-based product. I like this product because it is scalable and interfaces well with a wide variety of dermatology EMR products. Lab Supervisor Medical Practice ### "Super Easy System" 5.0 Overall Rating 5.0 5.0 Ease of Use 5.0 5.0 Features 5.0 5.0 Customer Service 5.0 5.0 Likelihood to Recommend 10/10 September 27, 2019 I have a small pathology lab that processes aroung 8500 specimens a year, and this program works well for keeping track of specimens as well as generating a simple pathology report. It also has the capability of interfacing with our Nextech EMR. We love the program. Pros This program is super user friendly. Once you have everything in place you want out of the system, it works great. Cons There are a few reports that I run, that could stand to be a little more detailed and to detail a report, you have to ask at the beginning of the process or it cost extra to have these reports customized to fit your needs. Reasons for choosing AP Easy The ease of the program, small enough to get the job done, and the cost of the program and the support is very reasonable. There are several programs and designers I have had the opportunity to work with for the past 3 years. Some are more helpful than others. Pros The best thing about this software is the ease and set up of the system. Cons The cost of the support is a little high if you only have basic support. You need full support to be able to continue to customize and learn new things about the program to make it work and be beneficial for your pathology department.
