Pros: I love that the price is per tech. From a cost stand point, that makes this the best remote connection software for an MSP with a few techs.

Cons: We already have Teamviewer, and Teamviewer has more features for the same price. We chose to keep Teamviewer. No real issues with the software, just TV was cheaper.

I've been using ScreenConnect for 4 years now and absolutely love and depend on it to do my job!

Pros: The speed of the application is really what I love most about it. Connections to remote machines initiate and connect instantly. The application is full of features as well.

Cons: Cost. I'm a small business owner and my bottom dollar is always something I have to watch closely. I can always benefit from a discount!

Pros: I can connect to a client machine in seconds to troubleshoot an issue. Literally 2-3 mouse clicks and I'm on the machine. Saves huge time. Love the features: file transfer, messaging, reboot, reboot to safe, etc.

Cons: Customization isn't as intuitive as it should be. You name the 'company' at the time of client install file creation. You should be able to create a filter group with a drop down menu, instead of having to remember how you spelled it and manually typing it. That's my biggest peeve.

Pros: It excels in everything. It is easy to deploy, connect. It is very easily reconnected to the safe mode. The user interface provided is excellent. The cost of software is very genuine and better than the most of its competitors. It also has a great mobile app.

Cons: Everything is good , just what I can say can be better is, multiple connect can be more streamlined and printing margins could be customised for reports.

Overall: It gives ability to access the database from private network. It gives much faster speed and hence made our work more efficient.

Pros: Connectwise Control brings forth the ability to quickly connect to various sessions of a remote endpoint. The ability to select the session in which you would like to remote control is crucial for TS/RDS environments where connecting to the user's terminal is not an option.

The ability to copy and paste text to/from the remote session, as well as copy/paste files and folders makes repetitive tasks a breeze.

Connectwise Control also offers a drawing pad which can assist when training an end user to a system's features and functions.

Cons: I've yet to stumble upon any negative points in regards to this software. The initial connection time is near instant (unlike VNC or Kaseya) and available features far surpass Microsoft RDP.

Pros: This software is easy to use for company use. Our company uses daily to connect with customers. It works great.

Cons: Sometimes this software freezes up when using Microsoft Edge but haven't had much of an issue when I changed to Chrome.

Pros: We find that it is much faster and far more convenient than typical RDP and other remote solutions that we have tried. Of the features we find to be the most useful is the file transfer feature (including the built-in toolbox), and the behind the scenes command prompt feature. We use the command prompt feature all the time as to not disturb the user while modifying the system. We support over 500 seats across 25+ customers at multiple sites and the software works great. We have the client installed on Windows, Linix, and Mac OS systems. We counton this software to avoid costly site visits, and it has never let us down.

Cons: There isn't much to negatively say about this software. We run this software on a self-hosted server rather than cloud hosted by the vendor. As such, we are responsible for updating on our own. We had run into a few hiccups in the past when upgrading the software on the server, however, even with the issues, support was able to help us remedy.

Overall: We have been able to remotely solve many issues - saving a trip to the client location(s).

Pros: When starting my company, I needed a reliable remote software program that was cost efficient, end user friendly, and one that would not break the bank. I compared 5 or 6 different programs and ConnectWise just seemed like the easiest/smartest choice. I have been using the program for a handful of months with my clients and I do not really have any complaints! I had to reach out to support once and they were incredibly friendly. I resolved the issue before they emailed me back but they made sure to follow up a couple of times to ensure the issue was resolved! That alone is top notch! The forum is also really informative and easy to navigate.

Cons: Some of my clients will randomly experience the black screen when I am trying to remote in(all Apple based customers) so that is frustrating that they will have to restart the machines which sometimes means I miss the issue they are experiencing but all in all, 10/10!

Overall: Easy to use, cost efficient, unlimited remote sessions, end user friendly, and amazing customer support!

Pros: SAML integration, secure password auto-fill, easy access to on-demand and unattended remote access. Also the price is the lowest in it's field. Our subscription is paid per tech not per endpoint, so we can install it to our hearts content and not worry about exhausting any install count.

Cons: My only complaint is that we have this bundled with Connectwise Automate but that feature only works with Automate agents and it has no "support" features. So we bought a separate account (yes we basically bought it twice, it's that good) and unfortunately the two instances are totally separate which is a bit of a bummer.

Overall: Remote access tool at a terrific price!

Pros: The ability to view multiple monitors at the same time, easy agent deployment, file transfer abilities, and ease of use.

Pros: We have many locations and use the software to be able to log into the servers at each location and run reports that we need. Being able to rename the servers makes it easy to know which one we are logging in to and we are able to set up unique permissions so that we can give access to managers - but only to their own stores and not all the rest.

Cons: It is intended for technical professionals. We are a retail company that just needed to log into our own locations from the corporate office. Because it is intended for tech companies, it take a little know-how to be able to set up. It wasn't terribly difficult but may be hard for someone without computer experience.

Overall: Being able to log in to our stores from the corporate office is very helpful. We can log in to run reports, transfer files, and offer some technical support to the managers.

Pros: It's an inexpensive alternative to the large cost remote access systems. It does what it is supposed to do with not too many bells and whistles.

Cons: Dual screen view could be better perhaps a method to switch them via hotkey rather than moving back and forth between them. Pros: We love the layout and easy to connect, along with the ability to have other techs connect on a system with you for collaboration. We've used all the well-known solutions out there but this is the best. We'll never change our remote solution again.

Cons: It needs better reporting. I have to use a third party app for my reports which are not very good. As good as this solution is it's really crazy how bad the reporting is. My guess it's done on purpose to sell ConnectWise.

Overall: Helps us do a better job for our customers and in less time.

Pros: The ease of use and ability to connect from anywhere. It doesnt matter where I am, as long as I have access to a computer and the internet, I can remotely administer systems on my network.

Cons: Frequency of updates. Updates are a little too frequent. Id like to see less updates and more focus on big improvements in say quarterly updates verses randomly sometimes a couple in 2 months.

Cons: There are some tricks, but once you figure them out, no worries. Setup the computer, then the session info, then the user to access it, all done!

Pros: We find that it is easy and fast for our clients to get connected for those one-time support sessions.
We also appreciate the ease of use, the generous features for cost, and the versatility of support/meeting/unattended access.

Cons: We end up using Zoom or Blue Jeans once in a while when video meetings are needed, so our ScreenConnect that we love is not quite a one-stop for all our online connecting.

Overall: Because it is easy and fast to connect with clients for support, we find that we screenconnect for even short, simple questions that we previously would have coached them through verbally.

Pros: We were able to transition to the software without issue. Unlike GoToAssist, the transition between versions did not orphan devices. Connectwise seems to handle lower bandwidth better.

Cons: Not necessarily a least like, but an area to improve. Tool has the ability to keep notes, but not in the actual remote session. If you want to add a note to a device you are working on, you have to go back to the main window. This would be more efficient if the note capability was also in the remote window.

Cons: 1. Some antiviruses block the executable and make it very difficult to allow the connectwise to run. We noticed this with 360 antivirus and Kaspersky. Other anty viruses are OK

2. Not usable with Android devices.

3. The admin area is complicated and not very user friendly

We switched to ConnectWise from LogMeIn and love it. It seems more lightweight and faster.

Pros: The JOIN function. The performance of the overall platform. Much less latency than with LogMeIn. It just works.

Cons: Setting up user permissions can be confusing, but fortunately there's a way to copy profiles from one user to another.

Overall: Shorter learning curve, better performance, less latency

It has been well worth the investment.

Pros: Its' ease of use and the ability to segregate sessions into different groups. I also like the actual interface. The layout is very simple but useful.

Cons: No ability to record a meeting for later use/playback. I was unable to get the annotation tools to work.

Pros: The licensing is very affordable, best bang for our buck in the remote support industry. The technical support is top notch. They support SAML authentication and 2FA, something our previous support tool had on the roadmap for years without delivering.

Cons: The access install doesn't work well via another remote or over RDP, sometimes it just fails for no clear reason. We end up doing a support session and convert to access install, that usually then works. It's been slow converting our 400 seats on our previous tool to this because of this hurdle.

Staff are friendly & a delight to deal with.

Pros: Easy to use & configure. No fuss getting connected to our clients. Love the fact that we are able to have Agents installed on the Guests machine so we may access it more easily.

Cons: Require more on-screen instructions/interactions for Guests, as we have found a lot of guests need help so we, the Hosts, can connect. Worst case, we had to abort remote support & had to actually go to the client in person so we may resolve this issue.

We would also like to configure/see the ability for a Guest to allow remote access, to machines saved in the portal. Perhaps it is something that already exist, however

Pros: Cheap with a nice logo. Works for the most part. Allows you a lot of hosts for a decent price.

Cons: The iOS and desktop apps are fairly horrible. Nothing stands out as being unique or saying they gave more than a passing glance at them. The Desktop app is just a client, not a way to select hosts, the iOS app is a repackaging of their website. On Mac, the command key hooks are not really enforced - "Apple + Q" doesn't work for example.

Pros: it works. the main thing about needing to access your computers is first and foremost - a reliable and dependable connection. this software never fails.

Cons: tends to get crowded on a pad, certainly on a phone. not sure how that can be avoided. maybe it could be a bit more responsive. i don't know.

Pros: I can help several people at once, and I have a loud response when someone clicks the chat. It is also very organized with the history and the triggers and short cuts, to which I take full advantage.

Cons: When someone starts talking in the chat and I am talking to someone else I find myself talk to the new chat as I am trying to talk to the person before. It automatically moves me my curser to the new chat while I am typing. It slows me done a bunch because I do not always know it has happened. I think I get to the new chat very quickly and I do not need to be jump over to a new chat before I am finished with the first. Is there a way to disable this "feature" it makes it very hard when I get swapped with many chats and makes forget sometimes who it was I was talking to.

Cons: I haven't been able to come up with a "con". One item that I would like to change would be that mine currently defaults to Support where I would like the default to be access.

Overall: I have 19 clinics scattered around central/southern Illinois and I had to drive to each one to support/assists users. Now I can help them all without leaving my desk.

Cons: The remote printing is difficult to set up and does not work for some of our computers. It has taken some work with Connectwise support staff to get a few of them working but there are still issues that I just don't have time to spend to find out why. Pros: The software is lightweight and HIGHLY customizable for branding and end user experience. The feature set inside the software is great from File transfer to toolbox and manual control of screen resolutions for slower connections. Even the Operators console is flexible for grouping accounds and even batch loading or batch upgrading.

I have used Several other brands before LogMeIn, TeamViewer, and even AppleRemote Desktop. As I work from 1 mac to another ConnectWise has always been the fastest connection. Feature for Feature ConnectWise has left the competition in the dust.

Cons: The audio portion does not work that well but in a pinch is good enough to have basic communication. I would not rely on it for a conference call or webex. Some of the features are a little hard to find the first time.

Pros: Very nice interface with a lot of features. Far surpasses anything that competing products offer....

Cons: When I went live, my instance was moved to another server and, all of a sudden, I lost connectivity to my clients.

The support staff is very responsive and want to assist you to get things operational again, but I still feel as though the answer to the issue is that my firewall is diverting traffic because they are using AES256 on Port 443. I don't believe that I've received a logical reason as to why I can go 30 days of trial with the product without any issues whatsoever to a non-functional product due to turning a switch on.

My first experience with this problem, ironically, worked itself out and I was able to reach 100% of my clients. It's really unexplainable. since then, a software update requires you to manually push it out to the endpoints.. THIS FUNCTION NEEDS TO BE AUTOMATED!!! I have endpoints that are off-site that I never touch. Not only can I not control them any longer, it now requires interaction from the users.

I've gone back to the previous method I was using for now and put this frustration out of my mind for a little bit.

This software is easy to use works on multiple platforms and makes supporting remote users a breeze.

Pros: The high level of control with the software. Transferring files and is easy and rebooting back into a session is great.

Cons: The customization could be a little more user friendly. It takes some time to get set up and it would be nice to have a bit more of a drag and drop ability to edit the landing page for customers.

Pros: It's white paper and I get numerous features like my business spent thousands of dollars deploying a business-wide remote assistance tool.

Cons: No always easy to deploy on some machines. Sometimes I have to perform assistance with some customer and I cannot have the agent starred. Other times I get a hard time installing the unattended version of the agent after I was probted in by the user.

The software performs well.

Pros: The software is user friendly. We have only had a few instances where our customers could not connect to the service.

Cons: Some of our customers cannot connect using the software so we have to revert back to our old solution to connect with them.

Overall: We use it for customer support mainly.

This tool is so easy to use, even with the least tech savvy person in the organization.

Pros: I love the ability to add admin credentials in to get the job done. All of our users don't have admin accounts so even the simplest of things were a headache until we found ConnectWise Control!

Cons: This is a stretch but when trying to get a new session going with a user, the exe downloads and doesn't always run automatically so I have to direct folks to navigate to their download folder to run the program.

Overall: The ability to support any user no matter where they are!

Pros: It's really easy to use, really easy to keep updated and just works. Authentication is easy. There's some really nice side features that I've only used a few times, such as hosting an ad hoc online meeting / support session and it was nice to have those when the occasion arose.

Cons: I still have some reservations about how secure it is, but that's true of all of these products. I wish the pricing was a bit less for more installs or there was a better incentive for installing more. One thing I ran into yesterday though was I couldn't figure out how to send a CTRL-ALT-DEL to the server, so it led to having to access a VMWare console.

Overall: A lot less driving time - easy to support remote clients, particularly after some PCI compliance audits prevents remote desktop from being employed.

This was my first shot at using a software for remote access. I almost couldn't be happier. Almost.

Pros: Connectwise is very simple to use. Once you have it setup, it really requires no extra effort to get logged in remotely. The speed is great and the features to block guest input or blank guest screen are much more useful than I had previously thought. Two thumbs way up.

Cons: There really is only one drawback (and I assume this is a drawback for any software like this)... The first time someone uses it (the person needing help on the other end) when they join a session, they need to do a download which is a bit clunky. I would love to see a "run a one-time application" option to get going faster.

Pros: Easy to use, easy to install. Stable, quick. Great to remote support, easy for the final user and for the IT staff

Cons: I cannot find something to say, its a software that it does what it suppose to do. I will improve it with some integration with ConnectWise Automate.

Overall: We can do some many things remotely. Not need to waste time going to each client. We can even work with 3, 4 or more users at the same time (ie: remote installations)

Pros: Clean, crisp look and ease of use. Grouping of devices. Speed of connecting with remote devices and uninterrupted connections

Overall: Able to assist customers easily from anywhere.

I've used most if not all competing products and CWC is the best all around.

Pros: 2FA, good tech support, continually improving with new releases, ability to customize the invite code, number of options to customize in the back-end admin section

Cons: My clients sometimes struggle to start, find and run the .exe that's downloaded when starting a new support session. The less technical they are, the more difficult it is.

Overall: I couldn't do my job effectively without it. It helps me provide quick and efficient support to remote clients.

Overall I really love the product. It works great and I love that there is no limit on devices.

Pros: There is no limit on the amount of endpoints you can add for access and the remote connections are made so quickly.

Cons: Every time you want any help with customization you have to pay to get help. We wanted a report to show connection to see how long we were connected with date and times but they told us we would have to purchase time and have someone work with us to get that setup. Most softwares you pay a monthly fee for help you when you need it as part of the monthly payment.

Pros: Ease of "grouping" Client systems for ease of management/quick connectivity. It's crucial to be able to provide immediate support when your Client requests it, ConnectWise gives you this advantage !!

Cons: There are no Cons to this product !! You can use the product for basic support or you can customize to your hearts desire. As is true with most things, you get out of a product what you put into it.

Pros: With the help of ScreenConnect (Connectwise Control) application we easily connect with our customers and assist them. Its working fast and easy to deploy and especially I like the customization options, we can customize the things according to our requirement.

Cons: Its missing the centrally recording of the remote sessions and live monitoring. I hope they will add such features in future.

Overall: We easily can get connected at any time with our customers.

Pros: Reliable and supports multiple platforms; a huge number of customizations and add-ons if you want or need them

Cons: Some automatic features (like clearing notes each month) that you can override; part of the power of the software but it wasn't obvious why it was happening without contacting support. To be fair, the support staff was very helpful in resolving the issue.

Overall: Less driving to sites and more time to assist customers

Pros: One of the easiest and quickest remote support solutions out there. Has lots of customization but most importantly, it is consistent and it saves me and my users time.

Cons: The remote command line console is a value add but it's one of the relay types, not truly a console. Also, the process list is nice but there is no way to terminate processes from it without connecting to the host or using the remote console. However, this is a remote connection tool and not a remote management.

Pros: For what it does, the price is fantastic and I can easily justify it. I looked at other programs like TeamViewer and it was ridiculous to buy.

Cons: It's a little clunky to have a neophyte figure out how to download and run the software. I have to sometimes hold my breath that the end user can figure it out.
