Solid, easy to use product that has great support and plenty of documentation for administrators. No complaints.

Pros

ScreenConnect is an easy to use product that enables IT professionals to remote into machines and perform a variety of tasks. The client has great performance, and it offers superior value for the money. Customer support is great. Helps with ticket management, and document management on remote endpoints.

Cons

It does create a direct connection between your machine and the machine you are remoted into. That in and of itself presents a massive security risk - especially if youve accidentally remoted into an infected machine.

Overall, my experience with ScreenConnect has been very positive. It does exactly what we need it to do, provides quick and reliable access to devices and makes supporting users straightforward. It's fast, easy to use and rarely gives us any issues. While it doesn't replace a full ticketing or documentation platform, as a remote support solution it's one of the best tools I've worked with.

Pros

ScreenConnect offers great value for money and is one of the better remote access tools I've used. We primarily use it for connecting to user devices and servers, and it provides fast, reliable remote access with very little effort from the end user. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, making it quick to find devices and start support sessions. Performance is generally excellent, even on slower connections, with low latency and responsive controls. It also includes useful features such as file transfer, session recording and unattended access, which makes supporting users much easier. Customer support has been good whenever needed and the platform is stable and dependable for day-to-day use.

Cons

While it excels as a remote access tool, ticket management features are fairly limited compared to dedicated service desk or PSA platforms. Document management is also basic and isn't really one of the platform's strengths. Some advanced functionality can take a bit of time to learn and certain settings aren't always where you'd expect them to be. The user interface is clean but looks a little dated compared to some newer products on the market.

Overall, my experience with ScreenConnect has been very positive. The platform provides dependable remote access, secure connectivity, and effective support capabilities. It helps IT teams troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly while maintaining strong control over user access and security. Although there is room for improvement in reporting and collaboration features, it remains a highly valuable remote support tool.

Pros

Fast and reliable remote connectivity, strong security controls, easy unattended access, and an intuitive interface. It enables support teams to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Cons

Reporting and analytics capabilities could be more robust. The user interface, while functional, could benefit from modernization, and some advanced administrative settings require a learning curve for new users.

Our experience with the software has been exceptional. It is easily the most stable and fast remote desktop tool we have deployed. It minimizes lag for the technicians, connects instantly, and has significantly improved our ability to resolve technical support tickets quickly and efficiently.

Pros

The performance and speed of the remote computer access are incredible. It makes jumping into a user session completely seamless, and the ease of use is unmatched. Moving files or managing system documents during support sessions is fast, which saves our IT support team a massive amount of time on a daily basis.

Cons

The subscription pricing has gone up quite a bit, making the value for money a little tougher for smaller teams to justify. The administrative backend can also feel a bit complex and cluttered when you are trying to configure advanced security permissions or custom group views for the first time.

Great, I am considering using it for my home lab. it is one of my favorite tools we use at as it is fast and simple and rarl;y has trouble.

Pros

Fast and easy to help people not under our RMM, and a great secondary back up if our primary RMM goes down. I can get a users connect with a quick email.

Cons

sometimes when I ahve been connected a while it gets funky but a quick reconnect fixes it. Better audio connection would be good for helpoign diagnosing speaker and microphone issues

Easy to use and would recommend but expect to work with security platforms to get it to function in your environment.

Pros

Screen Connect is pretty straight forward for end users. It's interface is intuitive an does not have a steep learning curve.

Cons

Unfortunately due to bad actors using Screen Connect several security related platforms block the use of Screen Connect.

ScreenConnect has served as a reliable remote support toolespecially for IT teams handling dozens of devices. It cuts down on troubleshooting time and simplifies routine tasks. Some menus still feel confusing, but the software runs fast and works well in practice. Probably, the interface would improve if more users tested it thoroughly. This makes it a solid choice for day-to-day support operations.

Pros

ScreenConnect provides quick and reliable remote connections that make user support seamless and efficient. The appearance is neat and user-friendly, and it is not complicated to arrange unattended access. Performance is always good, even on low-speed networks. Features such as fast transferring of files, executing commands, and displaying multiple screens are really worthwhile.

Cons

Certain settings hide behind layers or need several clicks to reach. Updates sometimes bring new screen layouts that take time to get used to. How do smaller groups really understand licensing and pricing levels?

the updates over the past 6 - 8 months, are HORRENDOUS at best! From moving away from the initial .exe download for obvious reasons and replacing that with ZIP files made it cumbersome for end users who are not in any way tech savvy, to going back to an .exe and now being detected in Windows 10 pro and Windows 11 Pro environments as a virus and won't allow download or if it does allow download, won't install. It's almost impossible to talk a user over the phone who knows absolutely nothing about computers other than where the power button is, how to disable firewall or defender A/V! HOW ABOUT SIGNING YOUR INSTALL PRODUCTS SO WE, THE PAYING CUSTOMER, DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH YOUR TECH TEAM'S INABILITY TO DEVELOP PRODUCT PROPERLY!!!!! 🙄

Pros

Not much good to say about ScreenConnect any more. Used to be a phenomenal and DEPENDABLE product but not anymore!

Cons

ridiculous updates that just break things which have been working for many months or longer is becoming the norm with these guys. Feel like I'm dealing with Microsoft anymore in respect to them changing things and not fully testing before deploying, then leaving us, THE PAYING CUSTOMER, to figure out how to continue to make this product work. Over the past few months also, nothing but connectivity issues with the SC website (NOT to be confused with connecting to remote machines). Sometimes won't connect, sometimes will (this is from various locations and various machines)
