### "This is the only remote tool that you need!"

Pros

I have been with Connectwise Control since it was labeled . This is a great product to manage all of your remote devices, clients, and unattended machines. You can remote control computers, run scripts, gather information, and more. The total package!

Cons

I would love to be able to que scripts and have them run when a machine comes online. As of now, you can only run commands on computers that are currently online.

Pros

The best thing about this software would have to be its ease of use to the customers. Being able to walk someone through how to use the software over the phone is a huge relief.

Cons

The worst thing about this software would have to be the huge connectivity issues I always have. I will get random disconnects or closures whenever I lock my PC. I haven't updated to the latest version yet but the features are also pretty limited.

### "The Ultimate Remote PC Login"

So far it was a breeze to set up and create groups of my PCs I manage. Having the ability to share passes for 3rd party IT help is nice too. Everything has been simple to pick up with little to no training.

Pros

I love the fact I can use my cell phone and from anywhere with a data plan, I can remote control all of the PCs at work. When it comes to unattended access to all of our servers I no longer worry about leaving work early or taking a long weekend. Help is always at the palm of my hand if needed.

Cons

My least favorite thing on the phone would be working with multiple monitors.

### "Great Software, most of the time!"

Ease of access and control over Client devices. A fast and (usually) stable platform is a key component of our business operations.

Pros

Speed of Remote Connections, especially on slower Internet Connections is handled very nicely. Ease of installation on new devices and talking Clients through connecting to a Support session is an advantage. Toolbox is very handy.

Cons

Updates (and therefore bugs) are too frequent. It seems every update lately has introduced new bugs. Would prefer a little more time to be taken to properly address issues and thoroughly test before publishing. We've got 900 Devices connected to our instance and use CWC as our primary RC method, having buggy software is simply not an option. Further, I'd love to see a File Transfer component. A separate window that doesn't require taking over the console session of a PC but allows File Transfers in the background. We used to use LogMeIn and loved this feature - they however, became far too expensive and tried (badly) to become a full on RMM package.

Overall ConnectWise Control has done everything we have needed and has been an outstanding product!

Pros

We love the price, the quality, the speed, the access, ability to share control with our customers and the amazing 24/7 Support!!

Cons

The organization and search abilities are not the greatest within the software.

Pros

We'd been using a stand-alone product (TeamViewer) for years but with ConnectWise's recent push for integration with its Manage platform we took the plunge and couldn't be happier. The way our helpdesk can dive right into a support session from a ticket is great! It also has Slack integration too which we have running in a few channels on there as well.

Cons

For workstations that users call in for that may not already be in our helpdesk software (Manage), there can be a bit of a hassle guiding users to the installation but its not too bad and par for the course.

I have used Control for the last 4 years in many different organisations and implemented it for many functions and reasons. even recommended for different industries of clients.

Pros

Lots of features, highly customisable, ease to deploy and use, super light in use, really secure, lots of integrations options.

Cons

sometime its a bit slow using over local LAN, some of the add ins could function much better simply because the data is there but not being used.

Overall, without this product, I would probably have to build my own support system - using this is more better.

Pros

Simply works, gives us full control and allows us to connect and support any of our 400+ clients. Allows us to pre-install the software so that as soon as the client connects, we can connect to the pc - otherwise it is easy for us to walk the client through installing our support software. Integrated copy/Paste to transfer files, can see if the client is offline and for how long...

Cons

Lacking the ability to sort by clients that are offline the lonest, if a client loses connection for a while and then reconnects, there is no easy way at the client to tell it to try to reconnect - in addition if the server went offline and then reconnects, the server does not try to connect to the client at the last known IP (which in my case would usually connect immediately) and instead, it can sometimes take a few minutes for the client to come back online - sometimes those few minutes may be critical...

Too many to list! Major time saving, quick support, etc.

Pros

Fast and easy to use for both admin and customer. Good pricing Highly customizable Supports all major OS including mobile for both admin and user.

Cons

Self hosted option pricing is too high Android app issues (fix is in the works) but can't come soon enough. Missing true CNAM support. Can do a redirect, but would be nice to fully support alternate DNS name.

Wonderful. I'm so happy with it!

Pros

We were using another famous remote support tool at work but we've recently switched to ConnectWise Control, and it's much better and easier. All you have to do to connect with a customer is just give them a code, and that's it. It's easy to deal with, and it's browser-based, so it's better. Supports file transfer and you can stay connected for as long as you like. What I like the most is that a team-mate or a superior can join the session without me sharing the information with him. All they have to do is just go to the current sessions and join in. This really helped me a lot lately. Sometimes we deal with an unstable connection, but unlike the tool we used before (which was also great), ConnectWise performs better with unstable connections. I never thought I would say this, switching from another tool that I've used for 2 years and got used to and know like the back of my hand, but now I prefer ConnectWise.

Cons

Maybe tweaking the interface a little would be great since it took me a cool minute to learn and get use to.

Pros

is a tool that I use normally every day you can store credentials, transfer data back and forth , the tool itself is super fast specially in low bandwidth, I normally use to connect to another customers in the islands that I cover

so far I don't have any complain in the tool, has everything that I need for my daily work as a sysadmin and support engineer

Pros

There are many features that make this an easy to use platform. The ability to bundle multiple tickets for the same issue ensures that any notes added to a child ticket are visible on the primary ticket. The ability to add internal notes not visible to the customer helps with technical documentation to benefit other technical resources assigned to the ticket. Ease of communication with the customer within the ticket provides a communication chain for future reference.

Cons

There are times that searching for particular information within tickets is cumbersome

I have not been able to login since the upgrade to 2FA and support is unable to help.

Pros

Cost was competitive compared to others and it had a good toolset for remote control.

Cons

connectwise support seems like they could care less that I was having problems.

Reason for choosing ScreenConnect

Sales person indicated that there would be complete support for iPad's. Said she technically wan't alolowed to say that becasue it technically was still pending with Apple for approval, but it was coming soon. That never happened.

### "Quick multi-platform remote access"

Getting quick easy remote access to a customer's PC during a support call is critical to offering great support and Connectwise provides that access.

Pros

Setting up a connection and having the remote user connect is a breeze. Sharing a URL or session code is easy.

Cons

Chat windows often appear in the background on the remote desktop and need bringing to the foreground for the user to interact with them if the flashing taskbar isn't noticed.

It's fantastic. While I cannot justify the cost of Connectwise Automate (especially with the "setup fee"), I feel like I cannot use anything else for remote control currently. I use Pulseway for RMM and I do not use their remote control implementation because I prefer Connectwise Control.

Pros

Connectwise Control () has been the core of my MSP business for years now. It has been reliable and has many features I can't live without, such as being able to boot machines into Safe Mode, sending commands without making full connections, file transfers and much more.

Cons

I wish it had the ability to do deployment from a single machine, instead of having to install on each machine manually or through scripts.

Reason for choosing ScreenConnect

At the beginning, I liked the interface. Now I enjoy the whole product. Looking forward to seeing it evolve further.

### "Most Practical Solution for any IT Team"

We have improved our support immensely since adopting software. The connection is very fast (even across Canada on a 10MBPS circuit).

Pros

The software is quick to respond. As the client calls home, getting firewalls opened from client to server, is a very easy setup for any corporate firewalls.

Cons

The software updates are only provided to you for one year after purchase. Then you need to buy a renewal to update the software.

Pros

It's got a very powerful system with lots of functionality, we can easily build our own tools or collaborate with others to build extensions etc. They have a feature request form which they seem to be very responsive too, integrating and working on new features all the time.

Cons

It's heavy maintenance and pretty complicated for your average user. A lot of their new features are built as "extensions" (you can choose to add them or not) sometimes certain ones will cause glitches with other extensions due to not being very compatible with each other.

Pros

Incredibly easy to remotely control clients and work on demand or after hours. The ability to transfer tools out of a single folder is efficient and helps speed up troubleshooting. The chat feature allows fast communication right from the system you are connected. This is an all in one product. No need for anything else.

Cons

I have not found a feature that I didn't like or doesn't work as it should.

Pros

As a company owner, we had used Logmein Central and Logmein Rescue for almost 15 years. We realized how much money Logmein was charging us for their software compared to what ConnectWise could offer us and it was a no-brainer, we switched instantly to ConnectWise and cancelled all of our Logmein accounts, saving us hundreds of dollars per month. ConnectWise is by far the best remote control software money can buy.

Cons

The only negative that we can find is that it currently will not work on the Samsung Note 8. Currently, the remote software will only work on the Note 8 as long as you have a Bluetooth mouse paired with the mobile phone, I am sure ConnectWise will fix that in the next mobile version.

Pros

Session switching, easy to install, and overall just straight forward and easy to use

Cons

No keyboard shortcut for pasting passwords in the windows login screen (have to navigate through menus) and no command line function in the remote session itself (have to use the web interface to use the command line function), although that's kinda fixed now with backstage so guess that's kinda a moot point.

Because it is easy and fast to connect with clients for support, we find that we for even short, simple questions that we previously would have coached them through verbally.

Pros

We find that it is easy and fast for our clients to get connected for those one-time support sessions. We also appreciate the ease of use, the generous features for cost, and the versatility of support/meeting/unattended access.

Cons

We end up using Zoom or Blue Jeans once in a while when video meetings are needed, so our that we love is not quite a one-stop for all our online connecting.

Overall, it's a good product and provide almost everything that you need for remote access and management, there are bits and pieces which need to be fixed and the performance should be maintained similar on all OS. Comparing it with other product it's a great value against the price that pay with the maximum features available; if I am giving an option then it's highly likely that I will opt ConnectWise Control

Pros

\- Easy to deploy and mange - Can customize it easily for various level of access - Best for Windows OS on other OS it performs not as good as on Windows - Great price value - Fair amount of third party plugin integration - Provides an effective command line control

Cons

\- Some long-lasting issues on Linux (performance on OS Mac is better but not great) - Java causes some connection issues on Linux and Mac - Occasionally, support is bit slow on core issues
