Easy remote support anywhere. I installed the client on a computer for a company I frequent all the time and am able to provide remote support often.

Pros

This is the easiest tool to use. It keeps up with the latest OS. It has low overhead. You can customize the interface and integrate it with Active Directory.

Cons

I miss being able to create sessions where the session name was listed. I really don't havw any other issues.

Pros

I like the fact that it gives a snap shot of the the clients screen without logging on to the system. I like that is very fast on a slow connection.

Cons

I don' t like that it is like a database look and feel for management. It would be better if it was more like a control center. It seems like you need to be familar with database scripting a little.

Pros

The ease and simplicity of use make this so usable. It's great that with a couple clicks, I can select the group, then the computer, then I'm in.

Cons

The software requires some programming to use advanced features. It's not difficult, just so many positives.

not very extensive reporting options. Would like to see better notifications. this software has about everything you really need for providing remote support.

Screenconnect is amazing. Unlimited agents, on the fly support sessions, tons of functionality. I use it for all user support and remote access. The phone app while difficult to use due to the nature of a phone vs PC is amazing when I'm on the road and need to help someone resolve an issue. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product.

Pros

Easy to use, cheap, good performance, lots of features.

Cons

In the most recent version you gave the option to install an agent during a support session. This has not worked for me, but if it's important enough I typically just send them the installer and do it manually.

Pros

Connectwise is a useful tool for accessing to other computers. Our office use both Teamviewer and Connectwise for taking advantage of both of them but general features of the connectwise is better than other softwares we experienced before. Connnection stability, file manager, easy to use, pricing...

Cons

Sometimes stabilization of the connection is not durable after a while. In the case we need a remote connection for a long time, we use Teamviewer.

Our company has been using ScreenConnect for 4 months now and we love it. Setting up screen connect was very straight forward and had it up and running in no time. ScreenConnect can be custom branded for you company, and almost any field can be change changed to say what you want. Once done with customizing ScreenConnect everyone will think you have a in-house built remote support tool. I would recommend ScreenConnect to every IT professional looking for an inexpensive remote support solution.

Make sure that you set your instance to the closet server to your location for best speed and quality!

ScreenConnect has replaced a few other remote support applications and methods and shines as the best solution for being able to very quickly provide support to our user base from anywhere in a secure way. Screenconnect saves me time by minimizing on-site visits and saves our team time because they aren't waiting on me to travel to their location. Problems are resolved in minutes; not hours or days. The options, tools, plugins, and information that ScreenConnect provides exceeds those of the other popular remote support solutions. Installing remote clients is a breeze as well. I would highly recommend ScreenConnect to any similarly situated organization in heartbeat.

We use ScreenConnect to install our software product on new client machines. We've found other solutions to be cumbersome for the end user to initiate a screen share. With ScreenConnect, everything is seamless. I share our custom ScreenConnect URL with a meeting code and the client can connect without issues. It also includes many features that make it easy to share files on the remote machine. The design of ScreenConnect is very we'll thought out and suites our use case of software installation and support extremely well. We've also found it to be very good value for what it offers.

Pros

Easy of use, relatively inexpensive.

Cons

No conference call integration.

The initial buy in is reasonable as is the yearly renewal.

Pros

The software is very comprehensive and has many features that I use. Provide tech support, transfer files, remote control... Multi-monitor control is good.

Cons

I have only once had an issue where the person requesting support could not follow the instructions for giving me access to their computer. When I connect to a user who has 4 monitors, I have not figured out how I can seem more than one at a time. I need to ask the other person which monitor has Firefox (for example) and then select that monitor at my end.

ConnectWise is easy to use and requires little set up to use. ConnectWise makes it easy to diagnose and fix any technology problems that occur. ConnectWise has powerful tools which can quickly solve any problems.

There are some resolution problems when dealing with different display types.

I have found Control to be an essential piece of software for our business. It is easy to use and has a robust feature set that allows us to manage our business processes effectively. Customer support is excellent and the team is always willing to help out with any issues that we have.

Pros

I liked the ability to have complete control over my systems, and the ability to quickly and easily help clients with their systems.

Cons

The thing I liked least about ConnectWise Control was its lack of native mobile apps. While there is a mobile web app, it is not as functional as native apps would be.

The speed and quality of the connection to remote computers. Also the layout of the software is clean and simple overall.

Cons

the end user has to physically install the software on their computers. would like the end user software to silently install on computer after they agree on me accessing their computer or accepting the session invite.

We had used LogMeIn for about 5 years, the price kept going up each year. Not by just a little bit either. When I looked at alternatives, ConnectWise stood out for the cost mainly at first, but when I tested it out, I was very impressed with how easy it to use which means my users have a much easier time getting acclimated to the change.

Pros

Very quick install and my users had no problem getting used to it.

Cons

Some of the customization features are a little clunky as far as having to use expressions and database type commands but the documentation is good enough to allow you to work through it.

Price point is a third of what I was paying previously. very small installer, silent install is nice. It's remarkably un-fussed with regards to firewalls and remote reboots of the computer etc. The only improvements could be menu features or setting more default preferences. Great customer support - quick, informed and friendly.

Pros

price, easy to install or deploy, easy to maintain/reestablish connection.

Cons

remote sessions for computers with multiple displays open 'all displays', can't seem to change this default.

My overall experience has been extremely good. From initial contact to followup information.

Pros

How quickly it is to provide support and obtain instant access.

Cons

While I have not fully reviewed the customization capabilities. This aspect was not as easy as getting started. However, I believe once I devote some time, it shouldn't be an issue.
