Pros: We love the price and the various features the it has. The multimonitor features is the best of them all.

Cons: We really don't have any issues with anything. It's a great product and it's not expensive like the other software's out there.

Overall: To be able to remotely control when people have issues. This saves us a lot of time.

Pros: Simple to learn interface. Low network overhead. Licensing cost is very low and makes it so that most anyone can afford it.

Cons: Some limitations on reporting capabilities. List of installed software doesn't update properly and is slow to pull.

Excellent on all fronts, it has all the options we had on our previous software plus added extras!

Pros: The licensing is very affordable, best bang for our buck in the remote support industry. The technical support is top notch. They support SAML authentication and 2FA, something our previous support tool had on the roadmap for years without delivering.

Cons: The access install doesn't work well via another remote or over RDP, sometimes it just fails for no clear reason. We end up doing a support session and convert to access install, that usually then works. It's been slow converting our 400 seats on our previous tool to this because of this hurdle.

Staff are friendly & a delight to deal with.

Pros: Easy to use & configure. No fuss getting connected to our clients. Love the fact that we are able to have Agents installed on the Guests machine so we may access it more easily.

Cons: Require more on-screen instructions/interactions for Guests, as we have found a lot of guests need help so we, the Hosts, can connect. Worst case, we had to abort remote support & had to actually go to the client in person so we may resolve this issue.

We would also like to configure/see the ability for a Guest to allow remote access, to machines saved in the portal. Perhaps it is something that already exist, however

Pros: it works. the main thing about needing to access your computers is first and foremost - a reliable and dependable connection. this software never fails.

Cons: tends to get crowded on a pad, certainly on a phone. not sure how that can be avoided. maybe it could be a bit more responsive. i don't know.

Overall: I use this software daily to keep 2 automated radio stations and an automated tv station running. simply could not do without it. i've used other products, this is by far the best. no contest.

Pros: I can help several people at once, and I have a loud response when someone clicks the chat. It is also very organized with the history and the triggers and short cuts, to which I take full advantage.

Cons: When someone starts talking in the chat and I am talking to someone else I find myself talk to the new chat as I am trying to talk to the person before. It automatically moves me my curser to the new chat while I am typing. It slows me done a bunch because I do not always know it has happened. I think I get to the new chat very quickly and I do not need to be jump over to a new chat before I am finished with the first. Is there a way to disable this "feature" it makes it very hard when I get swapped with many chats and makes forget sometimes who it was I was talking to.

Tried many others, nothing else compares.

Pros: The ease and simplicity of use make this so usable. It's great that with a couple clicks, I can select the group, then the computer, then I'm in.

Cons: The software requires some programming to use advanced features. It's not difficult, just so many positives.

Pros: Having multiple sessions open that I can name for identification, easily sending the connection information to users, and the ability to switch between monitors when a user has multiple monitors (that is my favorite and most used feature).

Cons: I is very nice to send users a link to access the site, but once users get to the site, they don't always understand how to run/load the program.

Pros: Simple to setup, simple to use. The ability to connect to my computers at anytime is outstanding. Plus the ability to reconnect after reboot is exceptional. I have been able to walk people through on how to setup/manage a meeting without being trained on it myself.

Cons: I haven't been able to come up with a "con". One item that I would like to change would be that mine currently defaults to Support where I would like the default to be access.

Overall: I have 19 clinics scattered around central/southern Illinois and I had to drive to each one to support/assists users. Now I can help them all without leaving my desk.

Pros: The fact that we can print at our end when we are working on a remote clients computer. And of course the fact that we can work remotely on a clients computer and without requiring approval each time we log in to the clients pc.

Cons: The remote printing is difficult to set up and does not work for some of our computers. It has taken some work with Connectwise support staff to get a few of them working but there are still issues that I just don't have time to spend to find out why. Hopefully when I have more time or better information provided we can get it done. Sadly trying to Google the question provides no help and neither does the faq's

Pros: The software is lightweight and HIGHLY customizable for branding and end user experience. The feature set inside the software is great from File transfer to toolbox and manual control of screen resolutions for slower connections. Even the Operators console is flexible for grouping accounds and even batch loading or batch upgrading.

I have used Several other brands before LogMeIn, TeamViewer, and even AppleRemote Desktop. As I work from 1 mac to another ConnectWise has always been the fastest connection. Feature for Feature ConnectWise has left the competition in the dust.

Cons: The audio portion does not work that well but in a pinch is good enough to have basic communication. I would not rely on it for a conference call or webex. Some of the features are a little hard to find the first time.

Overall: Remotely assisting users at remote locations is made simple with this software.

Pros: Very nice interface with a lot of features. Far surpasses anything that competing products offer....

Cons: When I went live, my instance was moved to another server and, all of a sudden, I lost connectivity to my clients.

The support staff is very responsive and want to assist you to get things operational again, but I still feel as though the answer to the issue is that my firewall is diverting traffic because they are using AES256 on Port 443. I don't believe that I've received a logical reason as to why I can go 30 days of trial with the product without any issues whatsoever to a non-functional product due to turning a switch on.

My first experience with this problem, ironically, worked itself out and I was able to reach 100% of my clients. It's really unexplainable. since then, a software update requires you to manually push it out to the endpoints.. THIS FUNCTION NEEDS TO BE AUTOMATED!!! I have endpoints that are off-site that I never touch. Not only can I not control them any longer, it now requires interaction from the users.

I've gone back to the previous method I was using for now and put this frustration out of my mind for a little bit.

This software is easy to use works on multiple platforms and makes supporting remote users a breeze.

Pros: The high level of control with the software. Transferring files and is easy and rebooting back into a session is great.

Cons: The customization could be a little more user friendly. It takes some time to get set up and it would be nice to have a bit more of a drag and drop ability to edit the landing page for customers.

Pros: It¿s white paper and I get numerous features like my business spent thousands of dollars deploying a business-wide remote assistance tool.

Cons: No always easy to deploy on some machines. Sometimes I have to perform assistance with some customer and I cannot have the agent starred. Other times I get a hard time installing the unattended version of the agent after I was probted in by the user.

The software performs well.

Pros: The software is user friendly. We have only had a few instances where our customers could not connect to the service.

Cons: Some of our customers cannot connect using the software so we have to revert back to our old solution to connect with them.

Pros: I love the ability to add admin credentials in to get the job done. All of our users don't have admin accounts so even the simplest of things were a headache until we found ConnectWise Control!

Cons: This is a stretch but when trying to get a new session going with a user, the exe downloads and doesn't always run automatically so I have to direct folks to navigate to their download folder to run the program.

Overall: The ability to support any user no matter where they are!

Pros: It's really easy to use, really easy to keep updated and just works. Authentication is easy. There's some really nice side features that I've only used a few times, such as hosting an ad hoc online meeting / support session and it was nice to have those when the occasion arose.

Cons: I still have some reservations about how secure it is, but that's true of all of these products. I wish the pricing was a bit less for more installs or there was a better incentive for installing more. One thing I ran into yesterday though was I couldn't figure out how to send a CTRL-ALT-DEL to the server, so it led to having to access a VMWare console.

Overall: A lot less driving time - easy to support remote clients, particularly after some PCI compliance audits prevents remote desktop from being employed.

This was my first shot at using a software for remote access. I almost couldn't be happier. Almost.

Pros: Connectwise is very simple to use. Once you have it setup, it really requires no extra effort to get logged in remotely. The speed is great and the features to block guest input or blank guest screen are much more useful than I had previously thought. Two thumbs way up.

Cons: There really is only one drawback (and I assume this is a drawback for any software like this)... The first time someone uses it (the person needing help on the other end) when they join a session, they need to do a download which is a bit clunky. I would love to see a "run a one-time application" option to get going faster.

Pros: 2FA, good tech support, continually improving with new releases, ability to customize the invite code, number of options to customize in the back-end admin section

Cons: My clients sometimes struggle to start, find and run the .exe that's downloaded when starting a new support session. The less technical they are, the more difficult it is.

Pros: There is no limit on the amount of endpoints you can add for access and the remote connections are made so quickly.

Cons: Every time you want any help with customization you have to pay to get help. We wanted a report to show connection to see how long we were connected with date and times but they told us we would have to purchase time and have someone work with us to get that setup. Most softwares you pay a monthly fee for help you when you need it as part of the monthly payment.

Pros: One of the easiest and quickest remote support solutions out there. Has lots of customization but most importantly, it is consistent and it saves me and my users time.

Cons: The remote command line console is a value add but it's one of the relay types, not truly a console. Also, the process list is nice but there is no way to terminate processes from it without connecting to the host or using the remote console. However, this is a remote connection tool and not a remote management.

Pros: The ability to access the software from anywhere on any device. It doesn't matter if I'm next to a Windows or Mac computer, or even out and about on Android and iOS, I can still access all computers and support our users.

Cons: The technical licensing requirements when using the Access-Only Package. With some of our users being remote-only and never touching our network, and us having strict no end-users having local Administrator, we can't remotely install ConnectWise Control endpoints to their computers without first logging onto their computer with another product like LogMeIn or TeamViewer, and then installing the agent.

It would be good to have a 'limited function' Technical license to accompany a Remote-Only license, where it will stay active for 15mins for one technician to use. Enough time to guide an end user to the website, log on with a code, then install the agent.

It's not worth it for us to pay for 24/mo license when we would only use that feature once every few months.

Overall: Ease of use, quick remote access, friendly support.

Pros: The agent install is a painless process. Additionally added support for commandline, services list, and the chat box makes on-premise IT much more doable. We're using the alerts generated from SC help identify issues with workstations and the timeline is invaluable to dianosing over-the-night issues with workstations the next morning.

Cons: The need for Java. When using Linux PCs, it requires Icedtea to run the JNLP files for each session. While that's not terribly hard to figure out, session JNLP files tend to be unusable after each session. I would much prefer something like Apache Guacamole. In addition, Screen connect could really shine more if it had windows perfmon tools for rudimentary system monitoring and a way to tackle logs like greylog does.

Pros: Speed of Remote Connections, especially on slower Internet Connections is handled very nicely. Ease of installation on new devices and talking Clients through connecting to a Support session is an advantage. Toolbox is very handy.

Cons: Updates (and therefore bugs) are too frequent. It seems every update lately has introduced new bugs. Would prefer a little more time to be taken to properly address issues and thoroughly test before publishing. We've got 900 Devices connected to our instance and use CWC as our primary RC method, having buggy software is simply not an option.
Further, I'd love to see a File Transfer component. A separate window that doesn't require taking over the console session of a PC but allows File Transfers in the background. We used to use LogMeIn and loved this feature - they however, became far too expensive and tried (badly) to become a full on RMM package.

Pros: Easy to install - especially for my clients! Great branding customization. And moving from m on-premise to cloud made the few go down and the performance go up.

Cons: Command Q on Mac quits the connection not the remote app!!! Always forget and lose my connection while working with clients.

Pros: It is so customizable and easy to set up and use. My customers are able to get connected very quickly!

Pros: This tool is really easy to use! With a web-based interface and one-time use client application you can remote into any computer quickly. The software allows you to blank the client screen and also share your screen with them. You can even copy files and print remotely

Cons: I would like to see an option to access more mobile devices. Also the screen on the client side could be a bit larger and a resolution to match what the end-user really sees.

The software has been great. It's easy to use and allows me to remotely manage my clients.

Pros: The software is very easy to use and requires little to no setup for connectivity. It has a small footprint and uses few local resources.

Cons: It doesn't support "copy/paste" of local clipboad or file system. This can be problematic when registering installed software with long keys.

Overall: not having to burn time driving to remote sites as often.

Pros: The fact that it works across many platforms. I have this software installed on numerous Windows machines, as well as Macs and Linux boxes. Also, the fact that it is cloud based means I do not have the hassle of setting up an in-house server and changing up routers and connections. I can login from my laptop anywhere I have an internet connection.

Cons: Some of the behind the scenes aspects of the software are a little above my level of expertise. Trying to create session groups was a bit difficult at first, of course the support was able to help me.

Overall: I can handle most of the issues that I face on a daily basis remotely, which save me alot of driving between my 10 offices.

Great value for functionality and features provided.

Pros: Cloud hosting

Video captured sessions
Cost is far cheaper than previous software. Makes up for missing cherry on top features/reports.

Cons: reporting is only in one timezone
there is only one audit report, no other technician reporting
client software load outs cannot be exported to an excel file (LogMeIn Feature)

Overall: Cost effective access to client sites, and coaching and management abilities.

Pros: Connectwise software has a level of ease of use that contributes to easy functionality and dependability for all the needs. We try to take advantagen of it.

Cons: don't get to use it as frequently as we would like due to outside circumstances beyond our control. We hope to use the software more in the future.

We have been using connectwise for our small MSP with acceptable results.

Pros: The value vs other products with the same features, the flexibility of the remote control and ease of use for the clients.

Cons: The client update process is cumbersome and frequent. The licensing model is somewhat restrictive with little to no "price break" for smaller companies.

Pros: It was very easy to deploy. Just simply connecting into the endpoint and coping the URL and it updated automatically.

Cons: Does not syn video resolution. Does not lock screen on exit by default or off the option. Need to install and extension to do so. Keyboard Cap's On bug.

Overall: Fast access to all of our managed machines.

Pros: I like the interface and they keep improving it as we go. I like that I am able to convert a remote session for help into a permanent connection.

Cons: I don't like that if I am logged in from my phone I have to go lol the sessions to get back to work it should pop a box and let me disconnect my other connection.

We used LogMeIn Central for many years, but are happier after switching to ConnectWise Control.

Pros: Cost is much more reasonable.
Easy to setup unattended computers/servers.
Even easier to quickly connect to new user's computers when necessary.

Cons: There isn't a one-click feature to send CTRL-ALT-DEL, you have to click the menu first and then find and click the feature. Since it's one of the most used features, it's a hassle to have to click twice rather than just once.
Unable to disable local printer sharing, which makes it hard to setup or troubleshoot printer issues because all your local printers show up on the remote computer.

ConnectWise Control has worked wonders for our business. No longer do we have to go on-site always.

Pros: Makes our business more profitable. Our technicians no longer have to go on site for every service call that comes in.

Cons: It's not versatile enough. We have a one-tech concurrent license. It would be nice if we could add another single license to our instance instead of having to pay for 3, which we don't need.

Pros: We mostly utilize the support connections through screenconnect, and these connections are always reliable and quick to start with users. We have also used the meeting portion as well, and frequently rely on the access clients for our remote machines.

Cons: Nothing to be honest. There is very little software to install (only pc clients), and the service is always available.
