No drawbacks and all plusses as far as we know. Pros The custom ways employees can recognize their peers. I really appreciate how quickly employees can use it. After using Motivosity in our organization, our employee appreciation score has greatly improved. Pros Motivosity is a great platform to use for employee appreciation. Employees are able to give appreciation to one another at any time and we use the rewards for special recognition on a monthly & quarterly basis. Motivosity is simple to use. The email notifications are good reminders to users as well. Cons One things that would be very helpful from the administrative perspective is to be able to connect Motivosity to our HR system (HR Link). Without that, the administration is quite manual. Our remote team morale would not be the same without Motivosity. Pros I love that we can nominate team members for awards easily, as well as recognize teammates to give recognition where it is due. Cons Having to pay taxes when we use the bucks in motivisity. I wish there was another way of spending the bucks we get and not have to pay taxes. It’s easy to use and serves its function for what we use it for in my company on a day to day basis. Pros Being able to shout out to team members, and also share victories of what is happening in the workplace. Cons I just wish there were more gift card options. We give out a lot of the awards on there for our employees to use. Lots of them use it for lunch in the field and there isn’t a lot of options on there for what’s around us. We’ve been using it for a few years and I think that over all it’s a very unique platform that brings positivity to the work place. Pros It’s a cool way to give thanks “publicly” to co-works and admins. I think that we can give out rewards or “copper coins” that translate to real money. I also adore the debit card design! Cons I don’t get notifications, even though they are turned on. I’ve tried every way I know how to get notifications but nothing has worked. Pros Makes recognition super convenient and easy! I love that team members can recognize each other and use their money towards whatever. Cons I wish there was a way to deactivate an employee and still allow them access to spend their money without being able to post anything. The support is fantastic and it is so easy to provide a nice benefit to the company. There are also some nice and easy ways to cash in on the benefits provided to employees. Pros We love helping our employees connect and recognize their accomplishments. It's so easy to reward them for their accomplishments and get them excited for events and activities. Cons Sometimes, I feel I receive too many Email Notifications. Maybe just send notifications and not I have more Motivosity dollars every month. I've never had problems using my incentives and/or with any of the services they offer Pros It helps create a friendlier atmosphere within our company and fellow employees - I love the feature of being able to send each other thank you messages with a few dollars when they help me with an overwhelming task. Cons There's nothing that really sticks out as "I don't like this..." I just wish I would have set up the account with my personal email instead of my work email. I can only sign in when I'm at work. And that we can earn rewards to use to purchase Gift cards. Cons I really don't know, I do like it. Only thing is getting kicked out of the App on my phone and having to log back in. I love that we're not limited to only our direct reports and can give a shout out or say thank you to anyone within our organization. Cons I wish it was easier to see who all I've given a shout out to and Motivosity dollars to. The filters don't match the column headings. Also lots of blog post and whitepapers that have been a great resource for best practices. Cons The pass off from agent to agent from start to finish isn't my favorite. We use the Slack integration and it allows us to get even more visibility into these shoutouts. Cons We have had some trouble with the Slack integration - we would liek to be able to globally turn off posting birthdays but are unable to do that.
