We also use it for awards for wellness challenges and various competitions we do to promote employee engagement. It is easy to use and the support I've received when we've had issues has been very quick. Pros Love the peer-to-peer recognition. Our employees use it daily! May 9, 2024 5.0 Pros I like the way I can thank someone for their outstanding job, also is nice to see my colleagues feel appreciated when they receive appreciation. It is even better when someone else comments in the same post that they agree with you and also sends their appreciation to that person. Cons As an admin user also, sometimes it's hard for me to find the reports I need. Maybe it's my lack of time due to my job to go over the site, but it takes me a while to find the reports I'm looking for. Fortunately, you can select the report as a favorite once you find it. The org chart function is laid out horizontally vs the more common vertical format, which is annoying but still functional. I love when people include images and GIFs in their recognitions. Pros I like to see employees recognizing other employees at all levels. We also have created badges to award to employees for a number of accomplishments, even for completing certain training courses and earning designations. Cons For a larger company, the amount of dollars that can be allocated to each employee may be restrictive. This has the potential to lead employees to not send out more appreciations than they have dollars to spend; however, training and communication can help the employee base understand that they can shout someone out without giving a dollar. Also, the rewards center is great and flexible. Cons I do not like the lack of some features that would make administration a bit easier, but for the most part it has everything I could want. It does improve our culture a bit. I wish we could find a way to have it make a bigger difference. Pros I appreciate that it encourages staff to complement each other. While that happens organically, I do believe this helps encourage more of the peer-to-peer feedback. We all want to know we are doing a great job, and every positive comment is important. It definitely helps our culture stay a bit more positive. Cons It is not a perfect system, but it does help. I think the eNPS survey is stupid and it should be replaced by a better system. The questions are awful and the scoring is worse. How is someone who rates your company a 7 or an 8 a passive score? We altered the questions to the Gallup Q12 employee engagement questions. We have seen some very mild favor trading with money. (Employees trading direct money for benefit.) Which we put a stop to. A prevention system built in would be nice. Review Source Rebecca B. It provides an outlet for people to be appreciated, recognized, encouraged, and uplifted. Motivosity can inspire people making collaboration, team work, accountability and helpfulness prominent in an organizational culture where those objectives might be a little more difficult to produce company wide. Pros Motivosity captures an idea that people can do more with gratitude, kindness, positivity, and appreciation. It sends a message of unity and understanding through individual and group efforts. Participation and use of Motivosity has helped me to feel appreciated at work in ways I have never experienced or encountered. It allows people to express their sincerest appreciation and idealistic positivity. There is a great amount of self motivation and understanding that occurs with the use of Motivosity to help elevate myself and create an effort to understand others needs that could benefit from my influence. Cons I think for a professional setting, the way Motivosity is set up fine. I am a communicator. I think creatively through the use of verbal communication, signs, symbols, and body language. I have wished that I could incorporate an idea into my participation with Motivosity using a gif, picture, or other means of media. As it is now, I understand maintaining a professional appearance, but doing so causes stark contrast to what could be more creative thinking, and evolution to ideas through the using and sharing of other media types.
