I have used for over a year now. As a VP, Human Capital my main goal is to optimize the talent pool. In everything from retaining key players, to creating an atmosphere of gratitude and high performance, I need tools that help with this focus. Tools that are easy to implement and get everyone involved are critical. Motivosity was introduced and stuck instantly. With the support of Sr. leadership and a culture of high performance, this was a great tool to publicly reward top performers, show that our company cared, create relationships and interactions cross-departmentally, etc... This tool got people involved with each other and allowed us to clarify and drive a culture that focused on revenue generation and top line growth. This tool does not create a culture, but it definitely helps in sustaining the culture we wanted. I would highly recommend it!

I wish it had more options for rewards like an amazon link.

The cost was lower and how easy is was to use. The VISA card was a big game changer when the point and be used as a debt card.

I really enjoy using to send recognition to my coworkers that is my department or other department. It's a user friendly easy to use.

Pros

It's a great way to show my coworkers appreciation for the help they give me or other department. And it's feel good to receive that appreciation in return

Cons

There is limited to transfer the buck to the card. I wish the Motivosity buck can be transfer to any bank we have. That would be great

Our employees and managers love how easy it is to recognize and reward each other tangibly. The support team is amazing as well! I've needed to access old data or make adjustments that I didn't know how to do and they have always responded within the same day and helped resolve my issue quickly and kindly. There are great additional options for the platform that we have trialed as well and while they weren't exactly what our whole team needed, they were incredibly valuable to some of our managers and help create a really well-rounded solution for employee recognition and management.

Pros

It's a simple and fun way for our team to recognize each other's contributions. There are a ton of ways employees can redeem their points (so easy to redeem as well). The public nature of the recognition is great too because it allows for other team members to chime in and agree.

Cons

I don't have any cons when I think about how we use the platform

I strongly recommend to use in order to gain better results in your company.

Pros

Sometimes none of the project management tools aren’t enough to create friendly environment in the company. And of course in overall this affects to company performance and sometimes causes serious damages to corporate image . In order to solve such conflicts among employees is the best choice. By providing peer to peer reward system Motivosity encourages colleagues to be more polite and friendly with each other. After using Motivosity our employees learned listening and respecting the views of each other. And overall because of friendly environment in our company our productivity has icreased in a significant level.

Cons

Although is a good tool for employee recognition but it can be used for misleading if some colleagues agree to give fake rewards to each other. It is a good tool but needs to be used under control.

Has been great, I find myself using it during 1:1s and to recognize my team.

Pros

The award option. Makes it easy to ensure people who should be recognized are for their hard work.

Cons

The system for goals is very basic to the point that it doesn't make sense to even use. Example: You can only select goals by percentage complete as opposed to quota attainment or other options.

gives us each a boost when we are recognized for our efforts. I like knowing that I made a difference for someone else to make their job easier, or more enjoyable- Motivosity provides the platform to do just that. Our company has had a rise in employee engagement, during this pandemic, where other companies are falling apart. I believe Motivosity has helped to keep us all connected and aware of other's accomplishments- even with most working from home. We use the platform regularly to provide opportunities for all to participate in company wide events. I love Motivosity!

Pros

Being able to recognize your peers for things others may not notice. Being recognized myself so I know my actions made a difference to someone. I like the ease of using the money- a couple clicks and you've redeemed your money. I love the profiles employees set up- it lets us know their interests, outside of work-more on a personal level. I also like how it tells us who else in the company is most like us- interesting...

Cons

We have had a couple of missed Anniversaries that weren't acknowledged on the platform- not sure if internal issue or . Can't think of anything I don't like.

We have been pleased with the features offered in the system and the overall impact it has had on the employees and company

Pros

Ease of use for employees, similar to social media sites so easy integration, nice looking and inviting platform, analytics are great

Cons

The cost is a bit high for small business but worth it for employees to get well deserved praise on a more frequent basis, more flexible payment plan options could be nice, finding administrator features/reports can be challenging since they are embedded within other tabs (solved this by tagging them to favorites immediately upon locating them within the system)

Overall a positive relationship and I love selling the system to new candidates. It does improve our culture a bit. I wish we could find a way to have it make a bigger difference.

Pros

I appreciate that it encourages staff to complement each other. While that happens organically, I do believe this helps encourage more of the peer-to-peer feedback. We all want to know we are doing a great job, and every positive comment is important. It definitely helps our culture stay a bit more positive.

Cons

It is not a perfect system, but it does help. I think the eNPS survey is stupid and it should be replaced by a better system. The questions are awful and the scoring is worse. How is someone who rates your company a 7 or an 8 a passive score? We altered the questions to the Gallup Q12 employee engagement questions. We have seen some very mild favor trading with money. (Employees trading direct money for benefit.) Which we put a stop to. A prevention system built in would be nice.

I love it, we can encourage our employees to recognize each by not using their own pocket - money plus they receive extra funds and use them however they would like.

Pros

It's easy to manage, train and use. It's able to be used globally and not just in the US.

Cons

Some reports at first were tough to understand, to be able to add peer-to-peer rules much easier would be great.

I have had a positive experience with . I use the software quite regularly and it is always a quick in and out to accomplish my goals.

Pros

Employees receiving recognition for their work is one of the best things to do for morale and makes it a breeze. My company has it set up so that each employee receives $5 to give to other employees as thanks and acknowledgement. You can see what other people are saying about each other and like and comment similar to other forms of social media.

Cons

There is a monthly site leader board within my company that shows points for every employee. The site does not show the basis for these points. It likely has something to do with how often you are giving/receiving thanks, but I have never been able to figure it out.

### "Concept is great"

The concept is great, and we have seen great success in our company. even outside of giving money, just giving people recognition outside of an email is really nice.

Pros

I love recognizing employees and being able to make announcements about great wins by different teams or the company.

Cons

When I pull up a profile's history, giving or receipts, I cannot like or comment, It has to be in the feed. Feature functionality: Create a money request, then submit it for approval. Essentially get rid of buying and expensing out gift cards, and use as the approval platform to get someone a block of money. This could be done outside of the tool, and have money added to a user. But it would be cool to have this built into the program. Feature Requests: 1. Can we search or specific terms or phrases within posts? • For example, an employee mentions that some is a “really great KCS coach”. • We’d like to track when “KCS Coach” is mentioned so we can specifically call out that behavior. If tracking is not available, then searching for these terms or words, would be helpful. I can only see that you can search for a person or title of the employee, not search for previous posts. 2. Is there a way to enable notifications for when someone submits a nomination for an award. I have found that people have submitted nominations, but we were unaware of these nominations because there is no alert system. not weekly digest. breakdown graph of how points are calculated or at least an idea of how they are accumulated. I've seen leaders have crazy scores, while they have less overall activity than others with much lower scores.

Pros

Simple UI. Integrates with Slack and other communication tools. Tie to monetary reward increases engagement with the tool, encourages participation and sharing of feedback. Areas of interest is fun for the team. Reports are useful.

Cons

The budget tracking is bit confusing, but is manageable with our small team. The org chart function is laid out horizontally vs the more common vertical format, which is annoying but still functional.

Pros

It is super easy to recognize team members and have the entire company see that someone is performing at a high level.

Cons

I am not a big fan of the 360 coaching. I feel that a lot of the questions are repetitive.

Really good - I like this product. I feel it satisfies one part of our cultural recognition effort. Our employees appreciate , too. I highly recommend Motivosity to other organizations.

Pros

We love the ease of using bucks to recognize effort and encourage coworkers. The Thanks Matters debit card makes it super easy for our employees to utilize their bucks.

Cons

I had one service issue that took several weeks to resolve. But, that is just one time in many years of using their service.

Being able to provide positive feedback, compliments, and say thank you is a huge plus and contributes to a positive work place when utilized by people in the company. Sometimes you're forced to wait until the next scheduled meeting to offer feedback and this is much quicker. I also like the highlights and use it for several things: introducing new employees to the company, posting positive quotes, sharing pictures location to location, events, etc. Great system!

Pros

I love being able to provide quick feedback, compliments, say thanks, etc. without waiting until the next scheduled meeting or in person visit. You can do it in a few quick seconds. I like the profiles you can personalize, the updates you can customize on a company or personal level, and the recognition and highlights are great!

Cons

Con: when you upload a picture you almost always have to crop it and some pictures just don't work when you have to crop them. (i'm referring to the highlight section) These are more suggestions than Cons, but would be helpful. I'd like to be able to add more than one picture in a highlight. I'd like to be able to add pictures to a comment. I'd love a calendar option that you can view for company events, as well as see the anniversary and birthday dates in calendar form. I'd also like to be able to change color options.

I find it delightful, easy, and fun to use. I believe everyone should give it a try, you might see it lacks a few functions, but I am certain they will be eventually added into the application.

Pros

When we think about a company and its values, we have a tendency to focus on their professionalism and excellence, but rarely do we wonder about how they treat their employees and how they communicate and organize within their structure. is one of those odd but beautifully designed softwares that encourages you to create cordial bonds between you and your coworkers. It has shown to be quite effective in terms of including remote employees into the company’s activites, even those who live abroad, creating a kinder working atmosphere. It incentivates the involvement of the employees in a variety of event and projects, that in many cases might have a reward, making it fun to participate. The software's structure is solid, functional and easy to use.

Cons

is relatively new in the market, lacking many core functionalities that similar applications already have. Although, you can tell by the way it is designed that they will eventually be implemented. Their category system requires more options.

Pros

All of our customer service reps are work from home and we don't plan on changing that. So, is a GREAT way to keep us connected and bring us together in our virtual world.

I honestly love everything about it! We used to only do the e-gift cards, but now that we have the Visa card, it is PERFECT!

I have really enjoyed the recognition options, they are intuitive to use and encourage sharing positive experiences with peers and employees. I also really appreciate the personality test and the tips for how to interact more productively with your peers based on how your test results compare.

Pros

I love how easy it is to share customer feedback, call out great performance, and highlight times when someone in general went above and beyond.

Cons

Awards can be cumbersome to create the first time around, but they are super convenient for regularly shared recognition items.

Pros

The navigation is relatively easy and straightforward. The options available for exchanging points for gift cards offers a good variety.

Cons

There is very little user end customization available to employees using the software. There may be more customization available on the administrative side, however, if so, I am unaware of it.
