“Otherwise, I had to arbitrarily offer them only part of the list of possible times, so as not to overlap, and then they wouldn't find what they needed. If I offered students a window (anytime between 4 and 8), they would choose awkward times (such as 5:30) that meant I could fit fewer total sessions in. If students forgot to come to sessions, I had no proof that they had scheduled, which meant I couldn't hold them accountable.“

### "Innovative and Best Tool in Market "

February 3, 2026

5.0

I like Calendly for its features, simplicity and innovative nature. I wonder why no one thought about it before.

Pros

It is free and quiet innovative. They are the pioneer in this space. Simple to use and does reduce the overhead of back and froth of scheduling meetings especially with strangers and prospects.

Cons

Rescheduling and level of control is not similar to say Outlook. It does not show the exact contact information of the prime user.

### "Makes scheduling much easier, although there's room for improvement."

July 11, 2026

4.0

As the name suggests, Calendly relieves the mess of scheduling interviews and meetings. It's something very useful for our small team that will save time. It's not flawless, there are, for example, time zone bugs and functionality that's beyond what we currently need, but it's definitely a nice addition to our workflow. This is a worthwhile product, particularly if simplicity and lightness are you and simplicity is in your priorities.

Pros

Calendly has been a solid tool to use when scheduling interviews for our team! Being a small business, we can't afford to spend all our time playing the email game and the automated booking has been really helpful. I appreciate the ability to set availability windows, and allow the candidate to select one of those times. We have had integrations with Google Calendar and Zoom, which saves us additional steps and keeps things in one place.

Cons

It's a great service for most of the time, but when I set up a time with candidates from other countries, I've experienced some glitches when it comes to time zones. So frustrating when a meeting is set-up at the wrong time! Additionally, there's a file-sharing feature on the platform to share pre-interview documents instead of on other platforms. These might enable the tool to be more robust for our HR team.

### "Great for Simple Scheduling, Limited for Flexibility"

October 2, 2025

3.0

Overall, Calendly has been reliable and simple to use. It saves time and makes scheduling painless, but the limitations of the free version mean it works best for very straightforward use cases. For more nuanced scheduling or professional branding, you inevitably need to upgrade.

Pros

It removes endless back-and-forth emails. The integration with calendars works smoothly and the interface is clean, so even non-tech contacts understand it quickly. For a free tool, it does exactly what it promises: makes scheduling frictionless.

Cons

The free tier feels overly restrictive. You can’t classify different meeting types well, and customizing time durations is clunky. If your scheduling needs go beyond the basic, you quickly hit a paywall.

### "Great platform!"

June 18, 2026

5.0

It’s great using calendly! This platform is hassle free and you can still do so much with it for little to nothing cost.

Pros

Calendly is easy to set up to use for both the admin and client. Booking is simple and it only takes a few steps to set an appointment.

Cons

You can’t customize it as to make it your own much as other platforms but it gets the job done overall.

### "It cuts out all that back-and-forth email nonsense."

August 14, 2026

5.0

It does what I need it to, without any real fuss. It probably saves me an hour a week just on back-and-forth scheduling, and that really adds up over time. Honestly, the price feels a little steep for what it is, but I haven't found anything better that my clients will actually use without complaining. It’s worth the cost just to keep the inbox from becoming a total mess.

Pros

I'm finally done with that "does Tuesday work?" email game. Now, clients just book directly into my calendar, and I can set up different meeting types with their own specific lengths and buffer times. The Zoom integration is a lifesaver, too, it adds the link automatically so I don't have to worry about forgetting to paste it. Plus, the time zone detection is spot on, which is great since I’m working with people all over the place.

Cons

The free version is way too limited if you need more than one event type, so you're basically forced to pay. Customization options for the booking page are pretty basic unless you're on a higher tier, too. Sometimes people get confused by the interface and book the wrong meeting type, and then I have to go in and manually fix it.

### "It saves me hours of chasing down supplier meetings."

August 25, 2026

5.0

For what I need it does the job. It's not cheap for a small operation like ours, but the time I save coordinating meetings with manufacturers and stockists pays for itself. Setup took maybe twenty minutes and now I don't think about it much, which is exactly what I need from software.

Pros

Running a small t-shirt business means I’m doing pretty much everything myself. Calendly has been a lifesaver for cutting out all those back-and-forth emails when I need to schedule calls with fabric suppliers or wholesale clients. They just pick a time that works for them, it hits my calendar automatically, and I can get back to designing and running the production side of things instead of spending three days playing email tag.

Cons

The free version is too limited when you're trying to look professional with bigger retail buyers. Had to upgrade sooner than I wanted. Also wish I could customize the confirmation emails more, the branding options feel basic for what we pay monthly.

### "Thank goodness that it really does book the appointments"

August 23, 2026

5.0

Although the analytics features are there for anyone who wants to look at charts, this is what I want my hours back.

Pros

I suppose the tags will work. Our ATS somehow integrated with Calendly as I was fully expecting it to simply fail. It makes booking of the schedule possible for me instead of having to email every person individually, which has been a huge stress reliever.

Cons

However, it also sometimes shows none of the available time slots for an appointment despite being completely free. This product costs way too much money. In addition to it taking forever to load, the dashboard displays in a somewhat unusual format each time I click rapidly through it, and I experienced two instances where the program crashed and displayed zero results last week.

### "A good option for teams who need to schedule meetings"

July 18, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Calendly has been great - it's streamlined my meeting scheduling process and saved me a significant amount of time. I appreciate the ease of use and the flexibility to customize my availability, which has helped me stay organized and productive in my role.

Pros

Calendly's integration with our Google Calendar has been pretty solid, making it easy to schedule meetings with clients and colleagues. We've also liked the customisation options for meeting invitations and reminders. It's taken some time to get used to, but overall, it's worked well enough for our team.

Cons

One minor annoyance is the occasional glitch with invitation links, which can lead to a bit of confusion. We've also found the reporting features to be a bit limited, which can make it difficult to track meeting attendance and follow-up actions.

Great! We use it for dozens of meetings each week, and it's never had a hiccup. And cancellation (of events) is very smooth in the app.

Pros

My church uses this and it's great for setting up meetings betwen the staff and the congregants. The best solution we've used yet.

Cons

Wish there were more customization options ofr context and meeting details ahead of the calls. Right now its just a plain text field.

### "Scheduling with Ease"

August 24, 2026

4.0

Over all Calendly seems to have few bugs or issues when I go to use it to book with my business partners. This makes it tempting to use for my consultation meetings.

Pros

I see alot of the professional businesses around me using this tool for securing their appointments and I like the connivence of being able to connect with ease. The features of being able to see availability several days out and especially if I am accessing it using my cell or tablet.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complantiants at this time about the product. It's nice to see the options business budget friendly options for big and small businesses.

### "Best planner out there"

March 10, 2026

5.0

It stops me from having to chase down a student or client via email for 3-4 days to find 10 minutes to discuss anything. All of the information regarding meetings etc, gets placed into my CRM automatically, no additional steps required. It prevents me from being double booked while I am away from the office. The workshops are kept organized even though the mobile version of the software has some weird design choices.

Pros

The Google Calendar syncing finally works. It sends out the Zoom meeting links and they mostly work (which is a miracle). I am just glad that I do not have to hand enter every invitation anymore.

Cons

I do not like that it does not allow easy management of multiple separate business accounts under one account profile without going crazy. It is far better than that last piece of software I used which caused me to merge two different clients together by accident because both client names were the same. This caused quite the circus.

### "I’ll schedule Calendly anytime"

November 18, 2025

4.0

I appreciate having a digital assistant to schedule time for me. It happens across the different businesses I conduct which also is helpful. I don’t have to have separate calendars for separate activities

Pros

I like being able to send people to a place where they can find a convenient time for them that fits my calendar. I rarely, if ever, have conflicts because my schedule has changed and what was once available is no longer available. I also like using it for others, so I can choose a good time in my schedule. The follow up emails are prompt and effective.

Cons

I don’t like having to use a web link, though it’s fine to do so. I have the tool integrated into my calendar, but I don’t use it often, if at all.

### "Get a peace of mind when planning for meetings by streamling online meeting scheduling with Calendly."

July 5, 2026

5.0

Calendly has become a very useful addition to the collection of our work management tools and we use it to streamline our experience in scheduling and planning our team meetings. Since we hold most our meetings virtually, Calendly helps us to easily find the convenient time that everyone is available for us to schedule those meetings. With Calendly, we have been able to eliminate the back and forth of trying to ask everyone when they are available for a meeting since we can easily see when everyone is available. Also, Calendly makes it easy to keep all participants of the meeting alert about upcoming meeting schedules by sending them reminders and this ensures that no one misses a meeting because they forgot.

Pros

We work with Calendly to ensure efficient planning and scheduling our team meetings and there has been a lot to admire about it. Calendly has a very user-friendly interface that has made our meeting scheduling experience very easy and convenient. I like how easy it is to set up availability time which help us to know when everyone is available for us to schedule meetings. With Calendly automated reminders, we have been able to ensure that all participants get reminded of the time of the meeting so that they avoid missing them. Calendly provides very advanced security features which help share meeting information and files safely and also help keep all meeting schedules private to only the participants. Calendly allows seamless integration with online meeting platforms which makes scheduling our virtual meetings on those platforms very easy and quick.

Cons

Calendly has been working smoothly for us and we have not had any issues to deal with. It has perfectly integrated into our existing work infrastructure and we have not found any features that has not impressed us.

### "Effortless Scheduling That Saves Time Every Day"

April 23, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Calendly was very positive and highly efficient, especially for day‑to‑day scheduling. Calendly consistently delivered on its core promise: making scheduling fast, simple, and friction‑free. It eliminated the back‑and‑forth emails that often slow down meetings, allowing others to instantly book time based on real availability. Setup was straightforward, and the booking experience felt clean and professional for both the organizer and the invitee. The calendar integrations worked reliably, keeping schedules accurate and preventing double‑bookings. Features like buffers between meetings, time‑zone awareness, and automated notifications helped maintain control without adding complexity. For individual use, Calendly felt almost effortless, and even for small teams, it significantly reduced coordination work. Where the experience was slightly limited was in advanced customization and team functionality, particularly on lower‑tier plans. Teams requiring complex workflows, branding control, or advanced automation would likely need to upgrade to fully meet their needs. That said, these limitations didn’t detract from the tool’s effectiveness for its primary purpose. Overall, I found Calendly to be a well‑designed, reliable productivity tool that delivers immediate value. It excels at simplifying scheduling and fits seamlessly into daily workflows, making it especially useful for professionals who schedule meetings frequently.

Pros

What I liked most about Calendly was how simple, efficient, and time‑saving it made scheduling. In particular: Eliminates back‑and‑forth emails – Calendly removes the need for long scheduling chains by letting others choose from available time slots instantly. Easy to use for both sides – Setting up availability is straightforward, and invitees don’t need an account to book a meeting. Seamless calendar integration – Real‑time syncing with calendars (like Outlook or Google Calendar) prevents double‑booking and keeps schedules accurate. Professional and polished experience – Booking links feel clean and professional, which reflects well on the organizer. Flexible scheduling rules – Buffers, meeting limits, time zones, and different meeting types are easy to manage without complexity. Works well across teams – Useful for both individual scheduling and team or group meetings. Overall, the biggest strength of Calendly is how it removes friction from scheduling while staying intuitive and reliable. It’s a small tool that delivers outsized productivity benefits in day‑to‑day work.

Cons

What I liked least about Calendly was that some of its most useful features are locked behind paid tiers, which can feel limiting for power users or teams. In particular: Limited functionality on the free plan – Features like multiple event types, advanced scheduling rules, branding customization, and integrations are restricted unless you upgrade. Customization constraints – While Calendly is clean and professional, options to fully customize the booking page or workflows are fairly basic. Team scheduling can get complex – For round‑robin, collective availability, or larger teams, setup and management can feel less intuitive and requires higher‑tier plans. Dependence on perfect calendar hygiene – If connected calendars aren’t well maintained, scheduling issues can still occur, which puts responsibility back on the user. Notifications can feel rigid – Email reminders and follow‑ups are useful but not as flexible or customizable as dedicated automation tools. Overall, the drawbacks were mostly about depth rather than quality. Calendly does its core job extremely well, but users who need advanced customization, automation, or team‑level control may find themselves needing to upgrade sooner than expected.

### "A practical way to manage meetings and availability"

March 24, 2026

4.0

As a remote bookkeeper working with multiple clients across different industries, Calendly has become a regular part of how I manage communication and scheduling. It allows me to handle booking in a more structured and professional way without adding extra administrative work. Instead of manually coordinating schedules, I simply send a booking link for specific services—whether it’s a monthly reconciliation review or a year-end tax preparation meeting. This saves time and also help sets clear expectations for both myself and my clients. It works well reliably with Google Calendar, so my schedule stays up to date without needing constant checking. Different Event Types also help keep meetings structured without making the process complicated. This becomes especially helpful during busier periods like month-end or tax season. While the initial setup requires some effort to align with different service offerings, the long-term efficiency gain is significant. Calendly is a reliable and practical scheduling tool that improves both workflow efficiency and client experience. It feels like a solid 4.5 for how much time and effort it saves.

Pros

Calendly has significantly reduced the time I spend coordinating schedules with clients. What used to take multiple emails can now be handled in a single booking link. I use a couple of different Event Types depending on the situation, such as short calls or longer meetings. I can also create structured event types tailored to my services -like client onboarding calls, monthly bookkeeping reviews, and tax consultation sessions, which helps standardize my client communication. The availability settings are flexible enough to match workload. I can control working hours, add buffer time between meetings so my day feels less packed, and prevent overbooking during busy periods. The Google Calendar connection is the part I rely on most. Once it’s set up, availability updates automatically based on my calendar, so I don’t really need to manage time slots manually. Keeping my working hours defined also helps make sure clients only see appropriate time options. The Workflows feature sends automatic email reminders before meetings, which I set to go out 24 hours and 1 hour before the call. These reminders have significantly reduced no-shows, which is important when managing multiple clients. The confirmation email after booking also helps keep everything clear without extra follow-up.

Cons

The Invitee Questions section works fine for basic details like name and email, but I sometimes need more context before a call depending on the client. The customization options feel a bit limited when trying to tailor intake questions for different Event Types. The basic setup is simple, but adjusting more detailed Availability rules or fine-tuning how time slots appear on the Scheduling Page can take some trial and error to get everything set up the way want. Time zone handling is generally reliable, but I've had a few cases where clients were confused, so I still find myself double-checking with certain clients. It would have been even more convenient if it offered a direct integration with accounting tools like Quickbooks.

### "Useful Tool"

January 27, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Calendly has been very positive. It consistently delivers on its core promise of making scheduling fast, simple, and reliable, which removes a lot of friction from everyday work. It’s easy to set up, intuitive for invitees, and dependable once running. While it can feel somewhat limited for more complex or sales-driven workflows, it excels at what it’s designed to do and becomes one of those tools you barely notice

Pros

What I liked most about Calendly is how effortless it makes scheduling once it’s set up. It completely removes the back-and-forth of finding a time, which saves mental energy for both people. The interface is simple and intuitive, even for non-technical users, and it handles things like time zones, buffers, and availability rules quietly in the background. It feels reliable and low-friction, letting you stop thinking about scheduling altogether and just show up to meetings.

Cons

What I liked least about Calendly is that it can feel a bit rigid once you get into more complex or high-touch scheduling needs. Customization beyond the basics often requires higher-tier plans, and even then some workflows—like nuanced routing, conditional logic, or tighter CRM-driven behavior—can feel bolted on rather than native. For sales use cases especially, it sometimes lacks context about the meeting itself, so it optimizes for booking the time but not always for booking the right meeting with the right intent.

### "Strong scheduling infra"

March 28, 2026

4.0

Pros

The ability to create different event types is great, each w/ its own rules, availability, and conditions, makes it easy to handle a wide range of use cases w/o manual coordination. Calendly is most valuable for how flexible it is around scheduling logic. The advanced settings (buffers, limits, availability controls) are useful since I have different needs and types of external meetings. They allow me to protect my time, avoid overbooking, and adapt scheduling rules to different stakeholders and contexts. To sum it up, it reduced back and forth, removed friction from coordination, and made scheduling predictable and scalable, especially in environments, like mine, where calendars are already overloaded.

Cons

There is nothing specific or major that I don't like. On the other hand, currently, I've been using AI tools to manage my calendar.
