Can be offensive to some, because it says you're too busy to talk to them to find a time to talk. It's a political decision whether to send the calendar link. Pros The price is fantastic. It's easy to use, simple to set up, reliable and accurate. Great for marketing funnels, for filling your sales call time, and for finding appointments with clients. Cons Would like a form fill that collects more info from prospects--this only asks for name and email. Overall it works well and consistently. It is easy to use for me, my staff, and our clients. I have no major complaints, it does exactly what we need it to do and it does it very well. I highly recommend it. Pros I love that I can set up many types of events, give them titles that make sense to me, and color-code them. I also love that I can customize the questions clients will answer when scheduling, and customize the reminders they receive. I also love that I can hide events from my main page, so I can target who I send the link to schedule certain kind of appointments. Cons Sometimes when there's a recurring event on my calendar that gets cancelled, my availability in Calendly will still show that time slot as busy. It doesn't happen often, but when it does I have to use a work-around and it takes more time to schedule something into that vacated spot. Even though, I have used other means of scheduling before. Switching over to this was a bit of an adjustment. However, once I was able to explore all of the features and get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing now. Pros I like its ease of use. The fact that I am able to efficiently run a schedule for myself and my team without much muss or fuss is great. It keeps everyone on time. Any issues that arise are able to be dealt with quickly, so there are not any upsets in booking clients, students, or consultants. And everyone is able to do their job without having to worry about constantly checking their schedule because of the great Confirmations and Reminders features allowed by the software. Cons It was a little complicated to get the hang of at first. Because it seemed like there was a lot to juggle. When an individual wants to schedule an appointment with me they simply click on my Calendly link and look through my open times lots. When they’ve selected something that works for them, we are both emailed about the confirmation of the email and reminded to attend when the date approaches. This hands off revelation of scheduling is fantastic and should be utilized by all who need such a software. Cons I don’t like that when I want to schedule a break I can’t click an easy button that allows me to do so. My understanding of how to create time slots is that I need to go back in and “book myself” for sections of time to block someone from signing up for that slot. I thought it was free but instead I was in the trial period, so trying it only because I thought it was free and without giving it importance to the deadline I removed it to not pay for it. I then looked for other programs, some are free but don't work very well, soon I will configure Tidycal which is less expensive and I will be able to tell you. But Calendly should be the market leader. In the paid ones you can set the payment of customers to you (for advice? For reading the tarot if you are magicians? ... a thousand possibilities!). It is easier to use in my view compared to some of the other platforms I have tested. The ability to integrate it with my clients websites was also very helpful. Recent integration with zoom even on the free platform has been very to some of my clients who were not quite ready for paid versions of the platform. Pros I like that the free version is pretty robust. You can calendar sync and ask pre-qualifying questions so you are better prepared for clients at the meetings. I also like that even on the free version you can connect to zoom and schedule the meeting for either Zoom or or a phone call. With the paid version of Calendly you can also collect payment in advance to avoid no call no show appointments. Cons It would be nice to have more than one event type available for free. I also don't like that the first tier paid version does not allow for payment or notification. Probably not a major thing to everyone but they don't have an affiliate program which sucks for those of us who are regularly recommending products that we use to our clients. I wish I could have all the different type of offerings on one schedule. Right now if I offer appointments at one site they have to be in a separate calendar from another site because I need to make sure I'm physically present at the site and set the calendar up for those dates only. Moreover, given the shifting priorities and urgencies of meetings, I can easily reach out to my contacts to see if there are better appointment times. Cons I have very little negative to say. I use the software in a pretty narrow use-case as a consultant scheduling meetings, so perhaps larger integrations may be more difficult or require more hands on customization. Calendly saves me time and keeps me organized and as a person who cannot function properly if everything isn't in order, that is really all I can ask for. Pros The feature I enjoy on Calendly the most is the calendar sync feature. As a recruiter who has multiple back to back interviews scheduled daily, this helps me to easily keep track of everything as I can simply take a peek on MS Outlook to see if my current appointment is canceled. This makes it so much easier because sometimes I get so busy that I don't even have time to go back to the Calendly webpage to reload to see if anyone cancelled. I find Calendly to be very user friendly as well, it is so very easy to send a link to candidates for them to schedule their own interviews as opposed to calling them individually to get them scheduled, so this helps to save a lot of time! They can simply choose the most convenient time for them and can easily reschedule should something arise, without having to go through you as the recruiter. In addition, I find that candidates do appreciate the built in reminder feature because sometimes they do forget about their interviews and a simple automated email or text message reminder does wonders so they aren't caught offguard when called for the session. I mostly use the "Scheduled events" section on a day-to-day basis, and an added sub-section I really like is 'Past' which shows every single scheduled event you had since your first scheduled appointment- so you can't lose track of your schedule history. I also like that everything is recorded, from the date the interview was scheduled, to when it was rescheduled or cancelled. Cons Based on what I do access Calendly for, I really do not have any cons. March 4, 2022 5.0 I do use Calendly daily, and most times I just send my Calendly link to the people (in email, text or my website's message), and they look at my calendars availability and schedule with me. In meanwhile, I do other errands while they are scheduling with me. It really saves my time, yay!! Pros Scheduling!! I love how I don't have to keep checking my available times & ask forth with the people, but I just send my Calendly link to people, and they themselves schedule fitting my calendars! So easy!! Cons It's great! If one thing can be changed, I wish I can separate reminder each for the person and me. For another person I'm going to meet on Zoom, I would put 30 minutes reminder to that person. And then, I want different 10-minutes reminder for myself. But there's only 1 time setting for now. I have more time to spend working on my business because I spend less time emailing clients about scheduling meetings. Pros Before Calendly, the task of scheduling a meeting with a client involved multiple back-and-forth emails, setting up a Calendar invite via Google, and possibly reminding the client prior to the meeting. After Calendly, I simply direct clients to my Calendly link, or provide in-email buttons to select a day and a time among a selection. Clients see this as a feature for THEM, because it also saves them time spent emailing me four times to determine a day and time that works. The built-in reminders are also helpful for both of us. Cons Sometimes the cut and past feature that allows you to integrate working buttons for people to select a day and time directly in the email does not work well with my email client (Airmail). They wanted it speedy and fault tolerant. I came across Calendly via my friend, who is a Tarot card reader by profession, this work community used this service to create a page that displays their information, slot-wise options, collects payments, and also schedules based on availability. So overall my and my client's experience with Calendly was awesome, cost & time-saving, and efficient. Pros Calendly is an insanely awesome product (SaaS). 1) It helped me create a profile page with a service display. 2) It also provides a personal/custom branding option. (Yes, also in the Free tier) 3) Fault tolerant and efficient call/appointment booking with email clients like Gmail and Outlook. 4) Seemless slot booking and payment collection system with integrations. 5) I love the feature of embedding their iframe in any website. 6) Also, they provide a feature to edit URLs of our choice. 7) Their real-time reporting is also efficient. All the above points are those which make this platform unique and awesome. Cons There are no visible cons to this product. Everything is amazingly great, but one thing which I noticed is after booking a call, I have set up redirection to my website, which takes almost ~20 seconds. This much time a visitor/user will not stay on the page. This needs to be fixed while separating the background process from the front end. And, its automated scheduling for daily meetings is just amazing, I don't have to add events eberytime that repeat everyday. Cons I would love it if they improve mobile user interface as its really difficult for me to send apppintment link with customization. Calendly automates the whole process saving us A LOT of time. Pros Easy to use, easy to integrate to any website but, best of all, saves A LOT OF TIME. Imagine having to coordinate with each client the date and time for their next appointment. That would take hours or maybe days! No way. Calendly makes it happen in seconds. Cons Only con is they should make all invoices downloadable from their site. Currently they only send their monthly invoice through email. No other way to get it. Not a big deal though. Now that I've realized how amazing it is, the fact that I ever got caught up in playing "schedule tag" with people seems mind boggling. I book everything from client calls, sales calls, podcasting recordings and even just networking conversations with people. Pros Calendly is simple, clean, and a MASSIVE time saver. For what a few hours of a VA might cost, Calendly has paid for itself after the first few bookings. It's very easy for the client to use as well, it's not cluttered like some other scheduling software programs are, and having an APP is solid gold. I love being able to get real time notifications of appointments and cancellations and handle all of that from my phone when necessary. The ability to customize availability and create multiple availability calendars for different events is another brilliant asset. I can integrate with PayPal and take payments for appointment bookings, it's simply brilliant. Cons Workflows are a useful tool, but still feel a little bit clunky. I like that they are there, but setting them up could be a little bit smoother. mind you, perhaps I'm comparing this to something like Zapier which is an incredible task management software.
