October 8, 2023 5.0 All of our staff absolutely loves using Calendly! It is quick and simple to set up, and those scheduling an appointment with a staff member have no trouble seeing availability right away and scheduling a meeting that they know will be put on our calendars. Pros We were struggling with coordinate large groups of people into a meeting day/time before we had Calendly. After we starting using the service it was quickly apparent how useful it would be for all of our staff. The ability to integrate our work calendar and easily allow others to schedule appointments that instantly sync onto that calendar was wonderful! The polls for a date/time were a super bonus allowing someone to easily find a time that works for everyone to meet. Cons We had some difficulty figuring out the best method to remove availability when needed. Ultimately we decided to mark blocks of time for vacations or personal appointments that may take someone out of the office and marking that block of time as "busy" so Calendly wouldn't show those time blocks as available. It would be nice to have a better way to do this that didn't require us to have to change our entire schedule created in Calendly, nor to have to muddy up our calendars with non-work appointments (perhaps like an "unavailable" status that can be set for a time period or something). Reason for choosing Calendly We didn't really look into other products as Calendly was already a popular service that we had heard of and seen before. Calendly has helped me to streamline my workflow through creating an easy booking process that requires almost no effort from me. Set it and forget it. Pros I love the simplicity of Calendly both on the front end and the back end. My clients can book through a Calendly link that takes them to a professional looking booking page where only my available times can be selected while my personal information (calendar appointments and such) is kept private. On the back end, it is easy to create various kinds of events and include in them features such as booking questions, FAQs and various other information and options. Cons I have yet to find anything about calendly that i don't like. One place they can improve is to allow clients to book recurring events without having to answer the scheduling questions for each booking. I was told to try Calendly as a part of a collaborative project that I'm participating in. I have already recommended it to other people who are in my line of work. I used to just do my scheduling manually and it was inefficient and time consuming. As well as, I often times made mistakes when it came to scheduling in different time zones. Pros I am in Sales and how a whole region in multiple different time zones. I find it incredibly helpful to be able to select the time zone and it automatically populates time slots available for their zone. I can’t even begin to tell you how helpful this is. Pros Features which are most impactful are as such:- 1) Multiple events creation. 2) Automated Scheduling and Sync with Calendars. 3) Adjustment of time-zones automatically based on where the attendee is residing. 4) No Conflict in calenar of the invitee. 5) Automated remiinders and confirmation messages. 6) Connecting it with third party tools like - Zapier, Integromat etc. Calendly is easy to use. It was easy to integrate calendly with our clients existing business. Cons I have not found any missing feature inside Calendly. But there is always an scope for improvement and addon. If I will find out anything that needs to be in Calendly, I will come back and write again about that or I will write it back to their team. I have a recommendation for calendly if they can create an analytics dashboard inside Calendly so that we can analyze the monthly, weekly, daily bookings and also export the data. Pros While it did allow people to book their own appointments, the program kept resetting my available times to wide open!! Even after I upgraded from the free version to the paid version. This came highly recommended but i was not happy and I know of many other this was happening to as well. Cons My template of times I was available kept disappearing and being reset to wide open availability if i did't constantly keep an eye on the availability I ran the risk of someone being able to schedule during a time that I was not available. Pros Calendly is the absolute MOST user friendly scheduling software on the internet. You can set up an appointment scheduler in a very short time, it's very appealing to the eye, and it's super easy to use for the client as well. Cons Honesly Calendly nails this software and is the leader in their field. I use calendly for my Graphic Design company and I use another software for my consulting firm. The consulting company's software is less user friendly, and more complicated, but it seems to have a ton of customization. Calendly doesn't seem to have this much customization, however, if you're just starting out and need ONE, TWO, or even THREE appointment types, Calendly is perfect. Second, I don't need a complicated scheduling application for my Graphic Design business, where I don't charge for meeting my clients. You can certainly add this feature, but I just don't need it. I have a few meeting types and I can send someone a 30 minute, an hour, or a two hour meeting invite. That's IT. It's integrated with Zoom so everything can be safe and remote. Lastly, again, I needed something that I could go to the page and be logged in immediately, instead of switching accounts. Keeping my business applications separate here made a lot of sense. I often end up being double or triple booked and couldn't ever get my different project calendars to properly sync up. Calendly has completely solved that problem for me, allowing my teams and I to effortlessly set up meetings and events with zero clashes or conflicts since I signed on. Oh!! and I no longer have to do the back and forth emails to schedule events. Pros Scheduling events or meetings with project partners has never been this easy. The most useful feature about calendly is the straight-up availability status that cuts out 90% of the back and forth we usually go through when trying to schedule an event. Within a few short seconds, I can set up and confirm events and be sure of attendance from other participants. It is really awesome. Cons It doesn't offer quite a wide variety of options for customization to suit my exact preferences. But in terms of functionality, I have absolutely zero to complain about. It has been excellent. It made appointment scheduling very convenient, but more and more companies are coming out with scheduling functionality, so Calendly is becoming less of a competitive offering, especially at their current pricing. Pros I love how many enterprise-grade features Calendly builds on top of their scheduling portal. It's not just self-service appointments, it's reminder emails, multi-calendar appointment scheduling, and it makes managing events with clients incredibly easy across scheduling and rescheduling. Cons Some features are a little restrictive. I have sometimes wished for a better way of controlling my availability than blocking out and entire day, it would be nice to block out single hour slots. It has been a real life saver. I could not imagine running a busy office without it. Pros It is very easy to use and set-up. It has alleviated our office's need to schedule certain appointments and it has also rid us of the need to send text/email confirmations to clients. This saves a ton of time. Also, it has saved us time from having to explain to clients/customers that they have to pay for the appointment, since we have set-up our account to require them to pay for the appointment beforehand. Cons I really HATE the time zone issues. Some people experience issues with the email/text confirmations, since they are not in the CST zone. I have placed an automatic time zone correction option via Calendly, but it does not seem to work. I have reached out to Calendly and the solution they provided is very hard to figure out. It is a minor set back, but it does create a lot of headache when clients/customers call in to complain. Reason for choosing Calendly Referral. I don't know any of their competitors. April 24, 2024 5.0 I really enjoy using it because I work with a lot of different networks and sometimes just finding time for us to collaborate can be a challenge. Calendly allows us to see each other's availability in real time, schedule accordingly and keeps projects moving. It syncs with your Outlook work accounts, so you can even schedule a meeting with multiple people (i.e. my manager and I with a vendor) and it will review the availability for both of our calendars at once and only offer times we are both free. This has been a game changer. Pros I really like the fact that I've eliminated a bunch of phone tag and comparing schedules and flipping through planners to try to find an open meeting time with someone. Owner Accounting Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "The Perfect Scheduler for Busy Business Owners" September 21, 2022 5.0 Having a paid Calendly subscription has helped me to save time, and keep things more organized. It has saved so much time because I no longer have to type out lists of available times and dates only to have them already filled up by the time the client replies back. It gives my clients current real-time availability when they are ready to book. I also love that it allows me to build in my own desired reminder workflows and "thank you" follow-ups on events of my choosing. One of the other features that I value more than anything is by using the Chrome Calendly extension feature, I am able to pull "one-time use" scheduling links. This makes it so that once a client books from that link, it can not be used again. It has really helped me place boundaries on clients so they can't just schedule meetings with our Accounting Firm over and over again. We offer different levels of service, and if clients want more access to us we provide that but it comes with a different price point for their services. I did research other schedulers, and not many offer one time use link features. Pros I think once you get acclimated with Calendly it is very easy to use. They make it so that you can manage your availability with easy, "mass apply" settings to different appointment types. I also really appreciate that you can have many different types of appointment types, we do different types of meetings and so we can set individual parameters with specific types of appointments. I think it is also valuable to be able to have both public and "hidden" appointments for your individual needs. Cons I do feel they could develop more direct app integrations, rather than making apps go through a Zapier integration. I personally don't love using Zapier, but I do appreciate being able to integrate the software with things I commonly use.
