Must have for every businesses nowadays if you are taking appointment. Pros I like how it completely automates the booking part so I don't have to go back and forth with clients just to nail down an appointment date and time. Also, it is a good filter to find out which prospects are serious about the project and which ones aren't. Cons Sometimes because it's too easy to book an appointment via Calendly, people don't show up. So now I didn't integrate it into the website directly. Instead, I send the Calendly link to them manually (after they opt-in with their phone number) so they are aware of all my available time slots and can make a decision accordingly. They should've improved mobile access and management as it too lagged. Otherwise its really great tool for beginner employees or the customer care departments. Pros I loved their automation of meeting scheduling and also show free time to my team and client to get connected. It really awesome. Also, I can integrate this with google calendar which helps me sync my all other events and reminders along with calendly appointments. Cons When used on a mobile device I cannot get notifications or reminders when someone books an appointment or schedule a meeting with me. I have missed many meetings because of this fault. Integrating with the website is not customizable and it will look like something different from my website color. They should give me the option to change colors. We did not need to go to our emails and confirm or "add to calendar"manually... it just went right in.It is also nice that I could customize and color code my profile and meeting types. Making meeting types was easy. Really the whole Calendly setup is easy and quicker than I would have expected.Lastly, when I book using other people's Calendly, I love being able to click on the event in my calendar and reschedule with a reason. This flow is so easy. Cons I usually have great feedback on how to improve a product. For this one, Calendly has nailed it! The interface is easy to use, allows you multiple meeting types and syncs with your favorite calendar. Cons So far I haven't found anything that I don't like and I've been using it for over a year. The interface is very easy on the user, and it serves a great purpose with easing the meeting scheduling part. Pros I use calendly in the capacity of a recruiter, and it makes my work so much easier. - Interviewers create their interview slots and the candidates can book the timing according to their availability. - I also really like that that we can set up customized times for the interview slots - There are so many options to choose from for the interview location: for video interviews you can choose from google meet/zoom/teams/webex/gotomeeting - The instructions given for each options is also very well thought about; for instance, on choosing phone call, we need to mention if we are calling the candidate or the candidate needs to call us. This is seriously a great life saver - The invitee question feature is another great thing to have - I do not have a paid subscription and thus only have access to basic stuff, but if you are ok with getting a paid subscription, I would highly recommend do go for it as it has amazing features like workflows, notifications (customize your notifications before and after the event to give a more personal touch), etc Cons There is nothing as such that I do not like about calendly. It also works great for external project stakeholders (e.g. clients, vendors) to manage many different calendars. Pros Calendly allows individuals to book time on your calendar in real-time. No more sharing what windows of time you have available, only to hear back from the other person that "none of those times work, how about X alternative?" Thus begins the never ending cycle. Cons I've had no bad experiences. I've heard the tech support is all email-based and some find that frustrating, but I haven't even needed any tech support so this is unapplicable to me. We had launched out outbound initiative quickly, and I needed a way for our SDR team to book on my calendar. Without Calendly, the logistics would have been a nightmare to manage. Cons I don't like the group events and the fact that they don't remove from your calendar. The wizard setup could be more intuitive by stating: are you booking a class or group of clients to capacity? And that would be easier to understand. " May 19, 2022 4.0 Overall the experience has been positive. I have not really had any issues with the service. Pros Scheduling appointments with clients and prospects is much easier without the need to email potential meeting times/places/methods back and forth. I like that clients can choose whether to call or use one of several video conferencing methods (ie Zoom or Google Meet or MS Teams), all within a single appointment type. Other products I have used do not have this option and require that multiple appointment types be created to allow clients to choose this. Calendly is ubiquitous enough that many third party vendors integrate with them. It also works well with Zapier for those vendors that do not directly integrate. Cons I would prefer not to pay a monthly subscription, but most of their competitors also charge a subscription fee and the ones that don't are less capable, so this is a necessary expense. I wish it were possible to also choose an in-person meeting from the location options, rather than just between phone or video. I had to create a separate meeting type for in person meetings, leading to redundancy in the appointment listing. This has proved invaluable for our sales team to do live demos with prospects and not get too many scheduled at once. It also has allowed us to not schedule demos back to back without buffer time in between. That's huge! Pros TheThe best thing about Calendly is the ability to set schedules for specific event types! You can set blackout dates, available times, control meeting lengths, automatically add buffer time, limit the number of events scheduled for a single day, and more. This is perfect for setting up live events or meetings on an ongoing basis, but giving yourself enough heads up and flexibility to be in control. You basically give prospective customer the freedom to choose a date and time--but ensure that it fits in your schedule, too. Use this to schedule live demos with clients, training events, or even webinars. It's a great tool, especially for small sales teams that need a controlled flow of sales calls/demos. Cons Calendly is restrictive in analytics; for instance, I can't easily see how many people clicked to schedule an event, but didn't follow through. It's also difficult from a user interface standpoint. I find myself looking for settings and menus that are hidden within the slick, clean interface. On the scheduling side, it's pretty easy for clients to schedule events, but you can't customize the date picker--and that's really unfortunate, because I'd like to use it in more places but can't customize the look and feel or functionality. I am now able to spend more time sourcing and speaking with candidates and am spending less time emailing back and forth about my availability. Cons The software recently added a video component to the application, which is great, but I wish it linked directly to my Microsoft Teams account so that I can personalize the calendar invite sent initially (versus having to update the calendar invite once someone schedules a time using that link). I love that clients are able to schedule their own meetings and the appointment just shows up on my calendar, complete with zoom link. I love all the customizations available, such as meeting type and length, how many can be scheduled per day, how much time you would like to keep available before and after, etc. Does everything I need and does it well.
