Between this and a few AI vertical agents, scheduling meetings has become a pretty much automatic task that I pass of to software completely. Pros I love the elegant simplicity of Calendly. Send your calendar link to someone and let them schedule time with you at their convenience. Set up your availability, sync to your own calendar, and you're off to the races. You can also set up different types of meetings with different durations, and requesting different information from users based on what event they select. Cons I wish they offered the full solutions on a limited event number basis on a freemium model. I feel that the initial premium trial of 14 days is not enough to evaluate whether or not base or paid option is right for your business needs. For example, let's say I only schedule 3-4 meetings per week, or even per month, I would think a plan option of free, with ALL features but limited to 5 meetings per month, would be more conducive to getting people to upgrade. We don't have to send each other emails back to back to figure out a time anymore. Clients simply get my Calendly link and can pick the time that works for them! Pros Calendly makes it easy for my clients to book appointments with me in their own time zone. It integrates perfectly with my Google Calendar and keeps my business day organized. Pricing is reasonable, the set-up and integration is easy and it's pretty simple to use. In my previous position, I used it exclusively, both the free and paid versions. They are fantastic and give you exactly what you need. Now, my new position requires us to use another appointment scheduler and the difference is very apparent, nothing beats Calendly. Cons The pricing from the free version to the paid versions is quite a big jump. Would be cool to have a tier that is between free and the first tier pricing. It's user interfaces are modern and Calendly offers many integrations with third party apps for instance payment, emails and website Cons Call this old school but I heard from two parties that Calendly does not work for them. First, because prospects or visitors (of the website) that converts into meetings, would usually abandon in the middle of the process or turn out to be no-shows. Pros Super easy to setup multiple appointment types and customise their individual availability. Sleek and responsive interface. Cons Payments can only be charged in a small number of currencies, for no obvious reason as this is a feature provided 3rd party via Paypal or Stripe integration? This has made it impossible for us to use this product as we want, very frustrating. Their support team has confirmed that this is a known issue but have given no timeline if or when it will be addressed. Many inferior services offer this feature so why not Calendly? Reason for choosing Calendly So far only product we've found that can offers the scheduling and usability features that we need. However we will move if we can find a product that can provide this AND payments in local currency. Two clicks and you're done setting up a meeting. Couldn't get any easier. I had a support issue sometime back and the Calendly team didn't disappoint fixing the issue for me. Pros The simplicity of the tool to set up your meeting slots. I can just share the link with the conferencing details already configured and we get a meeting scheduled in our calendars with all the details. It also has all the important integrations which makes your life easier having once set up. Cons To be honest, I can't think of a feature I don't like for a scheduling tool like Calendly. I have used this as a classroom teacher and independent contractor. Cons I would love to use all tools within Calendly for free, though I know that's not an option. My clients love having real-time access to my calendar in order to pick a time that works for them - no more guesswork for either of us. This has greatly increased the efficiency of my day-to-day work. I'm not playing a wait game to see when they are available because our time together is scheduled and I can always be prepared for how I can help them on the call. Cons Calendly has a simple interface yet some of the features that need to be accessed quickly/regularly (ex: finding the month view of the calendar in order to mark a day as Unavailable for appointments) are buried in multiple clicks in a non-intuitive place. Pros I really like that the user is able to share with anyone, not just other people who also use Calendly. It really helps reduce phone tag games to narrow down an appointment time. Cons The software is nearly foolproof. February 28, 2019 5.0 Pros Before Calendly we had no elegant way to let clients book in for meetings across 3 times zones, from anywhere in the world. It was a massive logistical headache, and Calendly solved everything for us. Cons I wish that there was a way to send Google Meet links, which are automatically generated, through the reminder text/email system. Pros This software is GREAT! Easy to use. Easy to set up. Easy for others to connect to you through. Fantastic set up for availability/meeting time bookings that don't conflict or need rescheduling. I have tried other scheduling tools and Calendly is far superior to them all. I would recommend starting with the free plan and then upgrading as needed if you would like the additional features. Pros Put an end to "suggest a time that works for you and I'll let you know what works for me." Calendly is a simple to use, self-service scheduling tool that lets the invitee schedule a meeting/appointment based on your availability. I love Calednly because it puts an end to suggesting times and waiting for confirmation on which time will work for all parties. The simple-to-use interface is loaded with powerful features such as the ability to automatically create Zoom meetings when a meeting time is scheduled. Reminders can automatically be sent to invitees as well as the ability to allow for cancellations and rescheduling. Cons Calendly has thought of everything. There are a number of integrations and customization options available on paid plans. Some features such as payments, CRM, and analytic integrations do require the highest level plan. I would like to see Zapier available on the free plan. The reminders and the ability to reschedule have been a big help in keeping my funnel full. Cons I did not see where I needed to set how the call / contact was going to be made. I had to delete the google meeting setting and a couple of others in the beginning. They can simply pop onto my Calendly calendar and choose a time from my available slots that works best for them. It saves me a ton of time and headaches. Pros I like that it integrates with your Google calendar so that appointments you already have scheduled are automatically blocked off from the available scheduled times that you've set up in Calendly. Likewise, appointments that clients set up through Calendly are blocked off in your calendar. I believe it also integrates with other email providers such as Outlook. It integrates easily into my WordPress website and is very easy to setup and use. Also the free option is more than sufficient for my needs, however if you need more customization or just don't want to see the Calendly branding, it is relatively inexpensive to upgrade. Cons I wish you could choose custom colors for event types. There are only a few preselected colors to choose from to differentiate your events. Review Source MB Michael B. I can set different events for shorter/longer calls. I can share a link with people who I'm meeting for the first time. I can integrate with Greenhouse so that calls are automatically logged in our ATS. Cons I have no complaints about the features I do use regularly.
