Pros I like the ease of setting my schedule within the app and how it seamlessly it integrates with my google calendar. Cons The look of the software isn't that appealing to clients. Pros Before the pandemic, when I was cooped up in my office, it was easy to find me and set a meeting time. My colleagues and I had regular office hours, ringing phones were expected and didn't upset anyone, and since we could talk in person there was rarely a need to send excessive emails. Well...that all changed. With emails as our daily communication, it's easy to miss one, especially with hundreds of others coming in from other departments every day. This combined with my tendency to miss calls due a phone on silent (can't wake the kids!) means making a meeting has been difficult. Calendly has made it easier for those I work with to set meetings with me. There's no more guesswork to when I'll be available and no more phone tag to find out when works. I just leave the link in my email signature and if they want to meet with me they just pick a time! Cons I've only been using Calendly for a short time, and so far I haven't found anything to dislike. That may change in the coming months, but for now I am very satisfied! Review Source Suzie R. Users can choose 15, 30, or 60 minute meetings. You receive email and pop up notifications so you never miss a meeting. Cons Limited options on the basic platform. You cannot use the "group" option unless you have a paid account which means you cannot allow multiple invitees to the same event. I was using the free version. This version only allows you to have a single type of appointment set up. This was one of the reasons that made me think that I had to use the paid version. Its high price told me that I didn't have to. Fortunately I found another tool that gives me much more for a small fraction of the price of Calendly Pros It is a very simple tool to use It connects very quickly with Zoom It's easy to create events and monetize them It is a good option to use it as the first tool to create appointments for simplicity of use Cons It is a very poor tool in its free version. Virtually unusable if you do not pay a somewhat high fee for the services that the competition is currently offering. You can get much more for the same money in other tools on the market. Pros I love that Calendly gives me the ability to allow clients to automatically book a meeting time, avoiding the annoying back-and-forth of suggesting times and dates. Cons I wish there was a cleaner way to see all of my meeting types and edit them. When you pay to get more features, the quality of the software is consistent with the free trial (which is terrific). In my mind, Calendly has the best, most human, easiest to use, and best designed product in the meeting scheduling space. It's rare, but happens - settings aren't the most intuitive and it took me a while to get it set up the way I wanted. But even the free plan is fantastic Pros So easy to use on the back end but also on the front end, for people booking slots in my calendar. I was fed up to go back and forth in order to schedule meetings before Calendly. Cons Nothing much really. I don't have to spend time getting students signed up for times, changing times, etc. It's all managed automatically. Pros I've used Calendly in two different businesses. When I was a web designer, I used it to allow clients to book meetings with me. Now, I teach continuing education for a community college and use to let my students book office hour times with me. It takes all of the hassle out of managing this process! It's integrated with my Google calendar so I don't accidentally double book. It also allows students to cancel and reschedule with out talking to me at all, which saves me so much time! It's very easy to set up, easy to use, and works flawlessly. Cons I don't have any cons for this software. I've been using it for several years and have not had a single problem with it. The free version works, but the add-ons of the Pro are amazing. So glad I found this product and I will pay for it next year too. Thanks for helping me manage my work life! Pros Calendly is so easy to use. Syncing it with your calendars and setting availability is so easy. Creating multiple meeting types with different requirements is so easy. To make it even better you can send email and text reminders and then an automatic follow-up email after the meeting. It syncs easily with Zoom as well so you can set virtual meetings. When it is all done you just send a link and the booking is done for you. Should you need to the cancellation and reschedule process is so easy. A+++ Cons That I did not find it sooner. It has changed the way I schedule meetings and control my calendar. Gone are the days of crazy text and email streams to make meetings happen! I love the design, ease of use, surveys, and calendar integration. Cons The premium features are a bit pricey if you're on a budget or can't justify the expense. I wish there was a way to set up a master calendar that integrated multiple email addresses. Instead of agreeing on a time back and forth and then sending the meeting request, you just send them all the times you are available and let them decide.
